How much I spent on Law School Applications | Ways to reduce the cost
Hey Alina! I just started my M1 year in medical school and I just wanna say how cool it is to see you find your passion in law and creating this bridge between healthcare and law! I hope you keep uploading videos and sharing your journey!
Coloradao is a great school. My buddy went to law school there.
Did you get scholarship any kind of let me know it will be helpful 😊
I failed 3 times, i lost money to reviews that never helped but the major thing is that I've not lost hope
Passing the LSAT is when you study hard,if you can't study or you don't have time for your studies I'd advise you get yourself help like Mr Thomas
I had interest in working with him but I was discouraged by my friends out of ignorance 😔
I have a cousin who never studied much,we studied together but she gives most of her time to her phone than studies after writing LSAT, she passed and I failed😣, I asked her how she did it, just found out she got her help from Mr Thomas ..
Sometimes hard work doesn’t pay you have to back it up with smartness🤓, I think your cousin understood that perfectly
Please does anyone know who this Mr Thomas is? I really need to speak with him I’m frustrated.
Look at you..
this is truly great to see, realistic and to the point tyyyy
Thank you for embracing this channel! I am one of those CU 1ls, and being able to watch your old videos these past few weeks has been really comforting! There’s not much law school content out there, especially from CU, so being able to watch your experience has made it feel less daunting. Also, happy first day of school! Hope 2L goes exactly how you dream it to go, and more 💖
Thank you SO MUCH! 1L can be intimidating, so I'm glad I could provide some comfort. Happy first day, you've got this, and if you ever need anything please let me know!!!
Keep going, you got this!
Awesome to see you back, Alina! Love your honesty and positive mindset. I hope your first semester of 2L goes great!
what was your work-job when you were studying
I was working as a medical assistant/cardiac technician in an outpatient cardiology office!
This is helping put things in perspective for me as I grind away at LSAT logical reasoning!
I dream of getting into Colorado. Hoping that I can be like you and get accepted this cycle.
Best of luck to you!
Congrats

Your cat is amazing
Can you please help me decide? I am a recent High school graduate. I have early acceptance to LECOM Lake Erie Campus for DO. I had a 34 ACT and 3.85 uw GPA in school. I have to decide whether to take it or go traditional route and go for MD? I feel there would be less effort if I go DO now. I have to maintain a decent GPA in undergrad and don’t have to go crazy with extracurriculars and volunteering if I go DO. Undergrad for MD would be lot more work with uncertainty and of course you have to take MCAT and then gap years. Please tell me what you think?
Go Bills👍
Thank you so much for this! As someone who needs guidance in the law school application process, I appreciate this so much!!
This was really encouraging, I had a 3.7 in undergrad but kept a 4.0 for my MPA and was worried my GPA in undergrad would kill chances applying at CU or DU in Colorado. Super helpful, thanks for sharing your LSAT score, too. I got a 165 and thought I'd be competing against nothing but high 160s.
I hope your 1L Spring Semester goes/went well!
She's got a Bill's tee on so she must be solid then:) Go Bills!
I am in the same boat as you! Well similar anyway. So I became a medical assistant during my senior year in high school and loved it! (I never actually practiced but I was certified). I was pre-med in college and very much struggled academically. I changed my major to criminal justice and noticed a HUGE difference in both my grades and my overall happiness. I didn't graduate with the best GPA do to originally being pre-med. I graduated with a BA in criminal justice in December 2021. I also took a gap year. I did get accepted into a MSW program with hopes of being a Medical Social Worker. After a couple semesters I decided it wasn't for me due to the emotional sides of things and the program tried to give me two options regarding my service dog when it came time for my internship 1. Leave him home and have one of the nurses walk me around (can't do that he's for mobility assistance) or do an internship at a place that allows therapy dogs. So now I'm studying for the LSAT
I really hope they continue to offer the LSAT online being physically disabled and having a service dog would pose some challenges with taking it in person. The last thing I want to do is distract my fellow test takers. Plus because I get accommodations I would hate to hear everyone get up and me still be taking it.
Thank you for this video! I haven’t seen many people talk about the writing section

My brother is a high school senior, can you please tell how you can be a medical assistant while being a high school student
@@zanmar6764 I went to a trade school that partnered with my high school. So I went to high school in the morning and then went to the trade school in the afternoon.
Good luck .Enjoyed your videos
Luv this girl. 👍
I failed 3 times, i lost money to reviews that never helped but the major thing is that I've not lost hope
i'm sorry for your plight my friend but i was once in your shoes before i was recommended to Mr Thomas and thats how i passed LSAT
I had interest in working with him but I was discouraged by my friends out of ignorance 😔

His info
Such a random question, but where do you keep the litterbox? I never know where to put it and don't love it being out in the open when I have guests over
No that's such a good questions lol. Depending on the apartment I usually keep it either in the bathroom or closet.
Alina this video is so refreshing and down to earth. I begin law school this fall at Vermont Law School and it's good to have someone on UA-cam whose journey I can follow as I progress through 1L. Congratulations on beginning law school. I hope you get an opportunity to support the football team there, lol.
That's amazing, congratulations!!!
Hey! If you’re not into the color of the coral top, you could dye it !!
hi what were the cancer orgs u were involved in? i was thinking of starting one up at my school next year
I was involved in Cancer Awareness Club and Protect our Breasts!
SO GORGEOUS! 💞
You are amazing
I really like those storage containers that you have on the shelves in the background. Where did you get them?
As others have said, I really respect the candor. I’ve boomeranged around and was also an NY transplant in Colorado applying to law schools. Like you, CU was my first admission. A great choice, and I knew once you laid out all your options that that was what you would choose. I didn’t go to law school in Colorado, but I ended up back here (at least for the time being). When you’re open to experience life is rarely what you expect it will be. Congratulations and good luck on your second semester exams and in your career.
Thank you SO much for this. A breath of fresh air. You gave me a lot more hope as I start my law school journey.
Congratulations Alina!👍
I love your spirit. Blessings in your Law School journey. I'm think I'm more hesitant about the writing sample then I was the test. I am also a writer and love to write.
Can’t wait to hear what you learned and what you’re changing! Congrats:)
That pre reg course is a great idea
Thank you so much for making one of these videos that the vast majority of applicants can relate to. So helpful!! Thank you so much and I hope law school is going well!!
pretty good with a 155...
This gave me hope for humanity...I'm so tired of seeing all the 170+ lsat score reactions/humble brags...
Hi Alina, i got accepted into CU Boulder for the class of 2027 and was wondering if you’d be able to meet virtually to get a better understanding of the school from a student perspective. Don’t worry if you can’t. I know you’re very busy with your studies. Goodluck !
That is amazing, congratulations! If you email me at alinaatlaw@gmail.com I would be more than happy to set up a time!
Congratulations
Insightful video. I admire your positivity and brutal honesty... Can you do a review on 1L law school required and essential textbooks? I don't know if that's too much to ask of you. But, keep it up.Thanks.🇬🇾
Absolutely! That is a great idea :)
Thank you for this! In most of the videos I have seen, the students are so cryptic about their stats and the process. I applaud you for your efforts and not being afraid to take rejections gracefully. Best of luck to you!
Damn, look at that upper body though 👌 nice
