I have the Lumintop Tool AA with a 4000k Nichia. Its nice. I like the feeling and look of the i3T but the tint is terrible and I dont like the setting. With such a small light you dont need more than 100 lumen rather 50 would be enough for high mode. The 180lumens just burn down the small battery.
Just sharp both side same, then its ok edc.
I need a slip joint version of this. The QSP penguin SJ blade is just over 3 inches so I do not feel comfortable carrying it in the UK as an edc
I have this KERSHAW RECAP AND I LOVE IT. Thank you for sharing this review. BTW, I subscribed to your channel.
Thanks for the sub!
Got one in the key chain for using when at the Army super useful
I have assembled and disassembled entire furniture units with this set of pliers alone.
I would suggest the Victorinox mini ratchet and bit kit.
Great tip. I've checked it out, but still prefer this little ratchet option.
Mmm…still a lot of gear when you’re wearing shorts, I think. You got the flat head driver on the Victorinox, that’ll do. So ditch the prybar.
Good point, not sure I'd risk it for heavy prying, but should be fine for small jobs.
Nice video! These appear to be patterned on the Nogent French version I ordered which costs 20X more! I currently use the Westcott 2.5" titanium scissors. MUCH better and more comfortable than any Victorinox, weighs about 10g.
Thanks for sharing the tip.
It's been about a month since your last upload. Where have you been sir? Miss the videos! I've made several adjustments to my EDC for the better because of your insight. Keep them coming!
Thank you so much for your kind words. Had to take a break as life has taken a funny turn, but I'm grateful for your comment and support.
Le bois du miens est très différent et je constate qu'aucun Livri que j'ai vu n'est identique, un bon point pour ce modèle ce qui le rend unique
The headlight can be twisted to turn on?
This has a small button on the end.
Thank you for weighting tools in your reviews. Super helpful
My pleasure! Glad you find it useful.
Nice compact set, I've been using the Cybertool version without the pliers. There's lacking a few things like a file and saw, though I don't use them a lot. It does have a pen and pin that I use quite often. I've added a paperclip that's very handy.
Thanks for sharing, I'll check that out.
That function to push up the cards looks a really useful feature! I've not seen that before. Thanks for showcasing!
No problem!
Cool video, thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for watching!
Nice one! Amazing what useful pieces can fit in there!
It's like Tetris fitting it all in, but it's surprising what you can manage.
What scales?
Micarta.
My floral knife is always on my pocket as my EDC. My swisschamp on my bag :)
Great options.
I like the file addition!
It's been surprisingly useful.
Very cool
Thanks buddy.
I carry 2 £5 coins in my EDC. They are legal tender and can be spent at face value. However, they are difficult to get people to accept and worth considerably more than their face value to a collector. As such they make a perfect last ditch reserve. I also carry a £50 note. Again this is difficult to spend, but has good potential to get you out of trouble. When I was a child, a long time ago, my father told me to keep a last ditch fiver in the back of my wallet. 40 years ago a fiver meant something, inflation has changed that!
That's great advice. Especially now we've mostly gone cashless, it can be extremely useful in a tight spot.
2" 3/8 inches
Good video 😊
Thanks 😁
Interesting 😊
Cheers!
Thanks for the look at this one, buddy!
No problem 👍
Nice wallet, though I do like the look of that leather one, thanks for sharing 🥷🏽🤙🏽
Yeah, that leather one is a classy option.
This Tool needs to be offered with a Bone or rams horn handle. Otherwise I like it. I'll buy it when they give it a bone handle though.
That'd be cool.
I have the same tin, and II quite enjoyed the mints. I used to keep mine in my desk drawer at work, with a lighter, led light, and a small pen knife. Largely so people wouldn't see them when I opened my drawer, smokers always want to borrow your lighter and don't always return it, and some people freak out if they see a knife. I always carried a pouch in my laptop bag with my real EDC stuff, the tin was just convenient.
Great idea there and a good way to keep your EDC discrete.
Great topic! I'd like to think I'd replace quite a few of my knives if lost. But if I had to pick just three, I'd pick my Buck 110, my yellow Case trapper, and my Victorinox Fieldmaster. Those are my three favorite knives👍Cheers, buddy!
Good choice!
If we are just talking about three .....this is too hard ! A far easier one is three I wouldn't replace !
Which ones would they be?
I'd replace most of them if I was only losing just one but if I lost them all, I would probably start with my CRK Small Sebenza, a Protech Mordax and a Benchmade Mini Bugout.
Nice options there!!
Great choices. I would say for me it would be a Buck 110, Case full size Trapper and a good 18 to 20 Inch Bowie knife. Thanks for sharing.
Classic options. Can't go wrong.
Those are all great choices, thanks for sharing. 👍Over the years, I have actually replaced knives I've lost; most recently being my Old Timer Sharpfinger in fact. 👌Great topic, btw. Take care my friend and Cheers!
Thanks for stopping by mate.
I would replace my German, Czech and Italian switchblades 😊
Great video..hogue Dekka, Pm 3 LT, VGKC Adventure..all 🇺🇸
I think that's a cool little tin, great thing to have in a time of need. 👍Thanks for sharing, take care my friend and Cheers!
Thanks 👍
Nice lit brother
Thanks 🔥
I’ve watched a lot of similar videos over the years regarding these Altoid tins and to be honest, they really don’t fit my needs or are realistic, in my opinion. Making them as a thought experiment is okay though, just to see what you can do. I keep my knife and flashlight on me and some bandaids in my wallet. Having a small whistle is a good idea too. After saying that, I think they are an excellent choice to make dedicated kits like first aid, fire starting (if hiking or camping), etc. Keeps everything organized and easy to find.
Excellent point. I keep mine in the car in case of emergency.
I think the ''thought experiment' is a great way to put it. I use a pouch, but the idea of keeping it small, and necessary is really put to the test by a tin.
Thanks Ant. Great video. I've bought an Altoid size tin from Temu to try to make one of these kits. It reminds me of when Iv was a kid and had a fishing kit in a tobacco tin.
Me too!!
Cool kit, buddy!
Thanks!
Nice kit! I enjoy putting them together but always stop carrying them or forget about them in a bag or in my car. I think because the setup makes it difficult to get to the items on the bottom and if it is a tight fit it takes a lot of effort to put it all away whereas a pouch usually everything has a spot that you can get to without going through everything else. Seeing this makes me want to build a new one though haha. Thanks for sharing!
I know what you mean. I keep mine in the car for emergencies, but it's not something I carry on my person.
Excellent kit!
Thanks buddy. How have ya been?
By the way, I great key chain knife is that Nitecore NTK05. Neat little ultra light weight titanium scalpel. Foldable slipjoint even! Plus you can carry one or more extra blades in your wallet just in case you need a fresh edge out of the box lm-a-bo. Hope you find this useful!
Great tip, thanks.
@@SussexEDC Pleasure! 🫡
"5th" pocket best pocket! Too bad my new pants don't have it anymore. But they got even more pockets now! Hope I didn't "use too many emojis"!
Nice to see your take on the tin! You could substitute the dowel for a nail so there is double functionality if you need a sharp hard point for scraping or you need a nail to nail a door shut as a barricade.
Thanks for the tip my friend.
Looks like a good set-up. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
This is a great little sized torch!!
My wife has snagged mine!
Quite right too !!
Looks a really well made sturdy piece. Thank you for sharing!
You bet!
Really stylish!!
It's a good option for more formal wear.
