The Muscovy ducklings love peas but don't eat the carrots. The corn they eat after the peas finished

Put in turmeric earlier in the day, a wild bush turkey digs it up, has a few pecks, and walks away. Comes back, a few more pecks then walk away. I threw some bananas, but also not too excited about it. I think its one of the bush turkeys that sleeps in the gumtrees in the backyard
New Ducklings - Muscovy

9 new ducklings, Mother duck was a little anxious at first, when separated to feed them, as were the ducklings trying new food. Now they gobble up the mealworms

Not many live bait around the wharf, not many bites surprised I got this trevally. We've had a little snap.

A short video cannot do justice to Cooktown . Take the time to look into the history of the area before and after white settlement . It is probably far north Qld's best kept secret because most " terrorists" are in a hurry to get someplace else . 🇦🇺😏

what do you mean by "Asylum"???
Cooktown The worlds biggest unfenced asylum. That's what they call it, and the reason for that is how isolated this little town is. The road leading up here from Cairns was built only a few years ago! www.riverbendnelligen.com/dearall41.html

yes, needle fish, locals call it Longtoms. Lots of garfish around also. 😁
