Thanks Louisnunez for your comments. I would like to respond to your comments in context of the presentation, but I am unsure as to your angle or what position you are defending or against. The presenter is revealing that even though SDA's keep the law/10 commandments which is unique to Orthodox Christianity even Catholicism, there seemingly is a unified understanding and teaching of the Gospel side of the equation that is held by most of the various Christian denominations to include now Roman Catholicism (Through Joint Declaration Document) on Justification (How God save sinners) that is being taught by all these groups to include SDAs. The school of thought that is most popularly accepted and taught is Armenianism. The presenter is saying the protest of 1517 that began mainly with Martin Luther was based on Justification/Justification by Faith. It was never over the law. SDA's protest is mainly distinguished by their unique teaching on the law/10 commandment to include the Seventh day Sabbath of course among other doctrines. However, the presenters main position is to show that SDAs and others to include Catholics share the same view surrounding the Gospel/Justification which is defined by Jacobus Arminius view of the Gospel which is provisionalism/a completely conditional atonement. The presenter is contending that supporting the Armenian view of the Gospel/Justification holds some Biblical contradictions and that Biblical clarity did come to the SDA Church in 1888 on the subject of Justification but was not embraced. On this premise the presenter is saying the protest must continue by SDAs on the Gospel but from the 1888 perspective of Justification and not another premise. Otherwise SDAs cannot continue Luther's protest which needs to be continued. I would like to continue the discussion if I were able to better understand where you stand on the issues as outlined by the presenter. Look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks Bobreese for your comments. It is true that SDA leadership are suffering from something (Laodicea) which has resulted in the ignorance of the pillars we hold as a Church. We truly need prayers, however, with prayers we are admonished to search the scriptures as though we are looking for hidden treasures. In the last days the Bible will be our only safe guard. That is the only way SDAs will be able to address the ignorance plaguing the Church through poor leadership.

@@beaconoflights.d.achurch4029 Well Patel, I believe the NSL is nothing more than a figment of EGW over active imagination, something EGW imagined up to support her Interpretation of the Sabbath. I do not know why there is so much hype about something she first invented about 170 years ago. I can only put it down to mass hysteria. Does the idea that the Pope introduces a Sunday Law, so that he can use it in some mysterious way as a Springboard to rule the world as the Antichrist make sense to you ??? Because it sure doesn't make any sense to me. Sounds like a Dan Brown movie script to me.

Dear Beloved, I appreciate your question. As you may not be aware, EG White writings was not the only writings that identified the papacy as the Antichrist, but long before she came on the seen, the protestant reformers such as Martin Luther, John Calvin, John Wesley just to name a few, all identified the papacy as the antichrist. That's what led to the reformation. EG White was only stating an already known fact echoed by the reformers, this was why the pilgrims who escaped the persecution of the papacy in Europe, came to America to establish a government free from popery. Hence a government established upon protestant principles (worship based on the dictates of ones own conscience). Concerning a NSL, this is also nothing new as this very country had enforced Sunday laws in 16th century which violators then were prosecuted, which are now recognized as blue laws on the books, which are not currently enforced. This is what accounts for many business closures on Sundays today. In 1888 there was also another agitation for a NSL by senator Blaire called the Sunday Bill, that didn't fall through. This is to make the point that this is not a concern based on EG White. Concerning the issue of "mass hysteria", it would appear that Revelation chapters 13 and 14 seems to have already done a good job to present this "mass hysteria" as you describe it concerning this "MARK OF THE BEAST" outlined in these chapters, which by the way if you don't have as highlighted in these passages (THE MARK OF THE BEAST), you cannot buy nor sell and will be ultimately killed if you refuse this mark. (Revelation 13:15-18) Shouldn't that be cause for concern since the scriptures speaks about it? I would want to believe so. For clearer understanding on the issue, see the most recent presentation as a part 2 on the said topic (Will it be the NSL or the Gospel that hastens the end). You will notice the emphasis of the presentation is really on the gospel and not necessarily NSL. Concerning the seventh day sabbath observance, this scriptural position also predates EG White and even the Jews as many has alluded to for its origin. A matter of fact the question should be where does Sunday observance or worship originated, and is there any scriptural support for it? Please see the presentation.

@@beaconoflights.d.achurch4029 In the days of the Reformation there was only one school of thought re: the writing date of Rev. about 95AD. But nowadays many top scholars believe in an earlier writing date of Rev. about 65 AD. There is much internal and external evidence for this.

Many have said the seventh day sabbath belongs to the Jews, but the Bible proves that the seventh day rest/sabbath predates the Jews. (Genesis 2:1-3 a memorial in creation). It's also being said that the idea of any sabbath rest was only mentioned in the giving of the law at Mount Sinai. This is not so, as this was mentioned before that concerning the manna. (Exodus 16:4,5,14-30). The Bible also states that Israel was to be a light unto the Gentiles (Isaiah 49:6). That means salvation came through the Jews to all nations, (John 4:22), Abraham also being the father of faith was a gentile before he became an Israelite by faith. This therefore means as Paul indicated all who came to faith in Christ and all that were taught to the Jews was drafted into the same vine the Jews were already in (Romans 11:11-25). So the seventh day sabbath being a perpetual sign of God's people from generation to generation, (Exodus 31:13-17), as this sabbath made reference to the seventh day rest at creation, and as such, the sabbath was made for man and not for the Jews and Jesus is Lord of the sabbath. (Mark 2:27,28). Jesus Himself entered the Synagogue on the sabbath as also His disciples (Luke 4:16; Acts 17:2). The prophet Isaiah did declare that the observance of sabbath will be even in the earth made new, all flesh shall observe the sabbath before the Lord. (Isaiah 66:22-23). So beloved, without quoting a passage from Ellen White's writing, I was able to present only scripture supporting sabbath observance for all believers.
