And tonight they showed they can defeat and beat the defending NCAA women champions tonight and they did it amazing fashion. . This is a team that work together and definitely win games and play the game of basketball efficiently.And goes individually and collectivity thorough out their big 10 conference games a And they continue to play phenomenal defensive and interrupt their opponents offensive amd defense from the opening minute to the final minutes of the game versus south Carolina.Due to UCLA defense and offense the Gamecocks has lost this game . And that was phenomenal from both ends of the floor from the UCLA Bruins and you have to give them credit for their defensive plays through out whole game getting stops and stealing and out rebounding the South Carolina Gamecoks . And the UCLA starters and the players that was phenomenal tonight .That just show the phenomenal growth and their Resilience. And their ability to dominate constantly has grown feom last season of this team from last season to now. And they all should be proud of Sunday perfomance. Because they won and they made history this Sunday. This is only the first time I've watched a whole game of hers, but Hidalgo looks like Allen Iverson with a jump shot and better shot selection (she also has great teammates so it is much easier not to force shots in that situation. I'm not kidding. You have to put it in perspective. I'm saying it in the sense of look how lightning quick she is relative to her opposition and able to get shots off at the rim against defenders 6 -12 inches taller than she is. That is Iverson-esque.

This Notre Dame team is final four bound no doubt. Tremendous job by the coach building a squad with elite talents on their own, butthat fit together wonderfully. Hidalgo, after her amazing freshman season averaging 4.6 steals a game, appears ready to put up an absolutely unbelievable 5 steals a game because she can gamble knowing that Kate Koval, another elite game changer freshman, is controlling the paint with 4.8 blocks a game so far.

I've heard a lot of buzz about Juju, but in this game, she appears predictable and slow, especially if the coach has taught the players how to defend her pivot. Juju performs well against smaller defenders, but Sonia's size is clearly giving her trouble. On the other hand, Myles stands out with a higher basketball IQ and better overall performance.

That’s what separates CC from the others- she didn’t let missing all those 3’s get to her mentally. She just kept playing. She was 0-10 I think but still she is so mentally tough that it didn’t faze her. She got a little frustrated but she did other things to get buckets. It’s a lesson for other young women basketball players or young men - don’t get down when you are having a bad game. Just Keep playing. CC ended up hitting some key 3 point shots they were heartbreaking for Nebraska. She’s that girl!
