That drivers side is fun... I got it loose with a wheel well ratchet with Allen head...I remove the booster the last time I checked the valve lash. This time I thought I could do it faster without it removed. Probably took about the same time. Reaching over the motor and doing it is difficult.

One of the most critical thing that was missed in this video is after the fluid was refilled the transmission should be shifted through all of the gears, with the engine running, in order to distributed the fluid through all of the ports within the transmission valve body. Then when the proper fluid temperature is reached is when you check the level of fluid. Doing it the way shown in this video will underfill the transmission because all of the ports and cavities are empty of fluid.

Usually the plug wires dont come off the coil pack and didn't show any work being done just said what he's going to do and does it off camera, nothing about the best way to put the new gasket on or sequence for tightening the bolts. Didn't explain why he's not doing the pcv cover. No torque specs. No advice on the cleaning procedure. No advice on how you should inspect the new gasket to make sure its all in the right place before tightening the bolts, or maybe use a little bit of rtv on the corners of the gasket in a few spots that are known to be susepitcal to leaks even with a new gasket. Just things that are helpful to make sure people can do the job quickly and prevent leaks, from forming.

For manual drivers, specifically make sure you are entering the accessory mode, and not turning on the engine!

You skip over the part where you’re moving the sockets and that’s the part where they’re all stuck and I can’t get them off

i must be the only one in the world with an LS430 where the alternator doesnt fit out the bottom of the engine bay no matter which angle / how many hard line mounts i unbolt thanks engineers haha

What if the oil light hasnt turned on and i change the oil early? Does it reset start at zero? I got my car immediately changed the oil/filter and drove avout 3800 miles. Then i changed the oil/filter about 1200 miles the triangle turned on. So i reset it. Now im changing the oil/filter at 4k miles. Would this rest it?
