I was on one of the ex-China Southern UA A319s (N874UA) a few months ago. I guess that explains why it had power outlets even though I had been told in the past that the United A320 family didn’t.

This is amazing and I wish that UA-cam would recommend more videos like this!!
Eh yo! Thanks for the mention! I had to rewind the video to double check I read it correctly lol! Btw, the video was great. I do think your intro, since you have no music, could almost work with a blurred out background of whatever content is playing. Keep the video sound, and just have it fade in and out after a good 8-10 seconds. You have a ton of potential, that should be evident considering you’re better off than me lol. Anyways, that thought just came up randomly, I thought I’d share it. An ambience intro isn’t too common, but it added a new and special vibe to the video.
Thanks Bro! I thought I could try to help you!
is this morning arrival
No this was a 1030pm arrival! Thanks for watching!
We took off the same runway 01R! You got day departure not having to deal with reflections from cabin lights i had to. Also what did you use to record?
Hey bro! When will your report come out! Also I used my dads Iphone 15pro
I luv your gyatt🍑
none of that please
@@upaviation787agreed
just drive to dallas
Well since I was connecting it was easier just to book through dallas. If I had flown in the day before then I would have driven!
What seat were you in and how long was the flight?
Love this! I have anxiety and look for trip reports like this when I fly out of airports I’ve never flown before or new routes. Was this economy standard or economy plus?
economy plus
Which routing
SFO-EWR
Nice trip report! I enjoyed it.
Thanks man
Factually, American did not fire Mesa. Mesa and American agreed to end the contract early as Mesa was suffering a pilot shortage, American would not help them financially to fix the issues. On top of that, Mesa also suffered financial losses from the constant maintenance issue with the CR9. American basically did not help Mesa at all during covid and United rescued Mesa with paying them so much money and helped create them a program for new pilots to prevent a further shortage. American and Mesa both had separate excuse statements to why the breakup had to happen and United took over all the operations which removed some E175 aircrafts Mesa also operated to allow the CR9 to fly. SO, did mesa lose a lot of money because of this? Yes. HOWEVER, they have an amazing partner to fly for. Both of the CEO are friends and I believe they will acquire Mesa as wholly owned in the future which will boost Mesa to grow even more as being the number one United Express operator. AND with the AA seats being involved, the transition allowed Mesa to continue using the seats as long as American Airlines brand was completely removed from all the CR9 aircrafts. I think once they officially settle in with United, they will begin to transition the aircrafts into the UAX livery and redo the interiors. Other than that, they are beginning to thrive off of United as they are now in Denver which Skywest did not like because it took flying away from them.
Hey Friend! Great flight review here. Since got asked for feedback I will give some. Yes I know this is hard and I personally still have problems with this and that’s keeping the camera stable. With that it’s really good to find that angle where your arm/hand can be comfortable filming while keeping a steady camera angle. I would also go against using .5 zoom for takeoff/landings. Yes it does show more but I really wanted to see the winglet and engine more. I would use 1X or .7-.9 zoom as that gets a good balance of the wing, maybe engine, and winglet. I really do appreciate the commentary with subtitles and you did a great job with that. I would say add more text when you do and keep the sub titles on for the same amount of length as you do now just with more text so it feels like the Trip Report is going faster. I also would recommend more time shown of the scenery as Vegas and Nevada’s desert is beautiful and San Francisco’s approach is always amazing. I personally have my trip report go for 20-25 minutes every time. But other wise keep up the good work and I really hope you grow. You don’t have take or use any of this feedback/advise if you don’t want to but just a few things really. Subbed great review!
Woah thanks man!
@@upaviation787 absolutely!
Mesa switched airlines on their CRJs because American fired them for their horrible operational performance
Ok thanks for clarifying that!
Funny thing about the "horrible operational performance". American did things to subvert the contract. Mesa had 60 airplanes on the AA contract. American decided to remove over 20 airplanes (mostly the newer refurbished airplanes) from Mesa. When they removed the airplanes, they gave Mesa MORE flying, during the COVID period when most regionals were not able to staff flights. So they took away the newer airplanes but made Mesa use the older airplanes that have more issues, they gave Mesa more flying, when even American and the other AA regionals weren't meeting their quotas, then blamed Mesa for poor performance. American cancelled flights months in advance and then blamed weather, while making the metrics for Mesa look worse. There was also an issue between Mesa and Envoy ramp. Envoy was notorious for causing a lot of late arrivals and departures for Mesa out of the DFW base. 45 minutes to park at the gate at minimum. Flights scheduled to arrive before 6 am, but Envoy ramp not starting work until after 6 am.
how do you deal with turbulence?
Being someone who LIKES turbulence it doesnt really bother me but if it does i just hold the armrest
This video is too cringe for me ti watch lol
Ummm just so you know i wasnt very clear in the video about what the route was! This flight went from Houston, Texas to Dallas, Texas

Nice flight review mate and great nighttime landing into Vegas there!
Thanks a lot man! I have 6 flights coming up that I flew back-to-back.

Sorry i was really tired!
Nice video!
Why no service ? COVID or when was thus filmed
I don't know why there was no service because this flight took place on October 5 2022. It was kinda odd but im not complaining because it was only a 45 minute flight of something!
what was the airplane route
las vegas-san francisco
I flew on it a couple weeks ago, I’ll tell you my story and why I was excited to go on that flight! It all started when me and my family sat in the dinner table. We were gonna go to Puerto Rico and has two frontier flights. So I decided that we should guess what the animal the tail had. While my family were guessing random animals I saw.. Juan the Puerto Rican parrot. I LOVE parrots, and I come from Puerto Rico! so I guessed it! AND when we got to the airport, there it was. N390FR.. I was shocked how I guessed that one animal. Crazy. I freaked out cause the chances are slim. It was a good flight, we went from Denver to Miami then there to San Juan. I decided to name that plane, Juan. Anyways thanks for reading this! :) I’ll post the video soon and send a link to it for proof!
What seat was that?
This was filmed a while ago but i think 10F
Perfect on line.
Juan the Puerto rican parrot on the winglet
Yeah it was a pretty new plane! only 5 months old! Thanks for watching
Hopefully United Flights coming from LAX.
Yes i hope so too! i dont know why they haven’t restarted it yet
Nice landing. Great work by the pilot who performed it.
Yes it was very good! Especially in the windy weather! thanks for watching
That pilot nailed it. Great job.
Yes it was very smooth! As the flight only had like 20 people on it and it was only a 280 mile flight there wasnt that much fuel on board! rare equipment swap!
normal landing to me
no it was more firm than it looks! thanks for watching
hard landing?
Yeah we were floating alot so we were kinda high! Ill change the title to firm! thanks for watching
Yes, wow, that landing really was smooth "as butter". And I dont even like butter :O
