Thought I'd kick off my video with a good selection of stunning American metal. Glad you liked them. Had not previously visited this show so it was good to see numerous cars from a different area to usual.

I've not been aware of it previously since I've always relied on the Hellingly event for my car fix come bank holiday weekend. Will certainly visit this Bexhill show again, many of the cars I'd not seen before. A particularly good American car turn out too I thought.

Thanks for your comment Dave, it was good to meet up with you at the show. Yes, I thought we were in for it when the rain started, but at least it didn't last long. Stayed warm and breezy so everything dried off fairly quickly. I didn't stay right until the end though, but did get to see and video everything I wanted to. All the best.

Hi Foxy, thank you for your comment. Glad you enjoyed the views and colour of the Woodingdean fields. Thanks for the info regarding the Bexhill event. I may well give it a visit. I know it's on during the Hellingly event so I could possibly do Hellingly on Saturday or Sunday, and Bexhill on the Monday seeing as the latter is just a one day event. They get a lot of cars there apparently so it sounds like a good show. All the best for now.

@@Foxys-Collective-Videography Okay Foxy, thanks. Not sure about Hellingly yet as other commitments have come up regarding Sunday. Tomorrow's weather forecast not looking good so will decide in the morning. Monday, I'll aim for Bexhill I think [rather than Hellingly] as I've not been to the Bexhill event before, and there is the promise of many many cars on site. If I make it on the Monday I will of course look out for your good self and Dave Bryan. All the best.

Glad to hear that you enjoyed the video. Sunflowers are so appealing and such a happy looking flower to cheer us all up. There are many local people looking at these on a daily basis so I am sure they are much appreciated.

It was so uplifting to just be standing there watching them. With the wind blowing it's as though the sunflowers were dancing.

Yes, I think green has always been favoured on the out of town buses. Our Coasters are blue & green to reflect the sea and green fields so predominant in the area.

Thanks for this information Peter. This was the first time I've had this organ running so will look at the barrel mechanism a little bit more closely next time. Would be good to have it playing each tune once then moving on to the next one. Should be back there for the open day in September.

You may well be correct, it doesn't say Gavioli on it anywhere but I had it in mind possibly incorrectly that it was a Gavioli. I'll investigate further and change the title accordingly. Thanks very much for your comment.

Glad you enjoyed seeing these old cars. This has been one of my favourite events for many years. I used to show my old Chevrolet Bel Air [1956] there and was delighted to win an award one year. The standard of presentation seems to get better every year too, any there's always something that will turn up which I have never seen before. Thanks for your comments.

No problem, it's always good to get people on camera. It adds a sense of scale and gives the viewer reassurance that there is actually someone around attending to and listening to these wonderful instruments. Besides, I can't risk my video getting forwarded to the Facebook page "Mechanicalorgans Entertaining Absolutely Nobody". Think of the humiliation of that!
