Fast fun course at Lemont, IL. Richard our sponsor from Richards Bicycles was there. Jason, Rick, Dan, Timothy and Marisol all raced. Jason took 1st, Rick 2nd in the 10 miles, Dan took 1st followed by Timothy who finished 2nd. Marisol took 2nd.

My Godchild Jose has made the first 2 Christmas with out my son special. The first year he sent me a song he wrote for Jr, he played it on his guitar. This year 2020 he made this video. 💕 Thank you for finding a way to remember Jr., I know he is watching over us with a smile on his face.

Ruta avanzados. Highlights of full race. 26.5 miles. 3 SAG support stations with electrolyte drinks, water, bananas and oranges. Very well marked course. Very difficult climbs, very long! climbs. First climb was five miles long. Descents were very tiring and super long, but fun and exciting. What an experience. Thank you Naranja's Bike.

Day before the ride we decided to ride around and explore the streets of Mazamitla.

Made it to the top of el cerro del tigre in Mazamitla. Going down is always so much better then going up!!

The climb to get to the top is pure torture! 😰

8 years later, my son rides that sling shot, catapolt ride he rode in Wisconsin when he was 8 years old. Only this time with his cousin and at Cedar Point in OH. He didn't want to say his famous line, "Are you ready to die".
