Finished up another forcible entry prop for training. I really wanted to make an all-around good training prop. That shows a lot of different ways and possible situations you will face on a call. And to put that all into one training station that doesn't take up a lot of space. Remember, you can't train enough when life and property are in danger. Stay safe out there. Sorry for the audio. Hello! Nice videos, I have a S&W 8900 and was wondering if you had a wiring diagram for it? Or could point me in the right direction?
@@dillbob4603 i have one of those. I can look at it and tell you what color does what. Or i can draw up a diagram of the plug and show what goes where. Is there a good way to get that to you?
@dillbob4603 If yours doesn't have the plug, Black ground Red rotators Yellow take down Green rear flashers Blue left alley Brown right alley White's speaker If you still have the plug. You should have seven exposed terminals and one covered. Putting the covered one up and going right to left Covered ground 1st rotators 2nd rear flashers 3rd take downs starting below covered one right to left 4th left alley 5th right alley 5th &6th speaker Hope this helps Let me know if there is something else you're looking for.
You remind me of me in 1979 at 17 yrs old. I had just joined a volunteer fire dept. I needed lights for my pickup truck. Made a bar from aluminum and mounted lights on that bar. Then I bought a Visi-Bar. In my state, PA, the colors are blue for volunteer firemen, non chief officers. Red for chief officers. I ended up selling the Visi-Bar to my high-school buddy, and I got a Twin-Sonic. Similar drive as an original Visi-Bar. I'm sure you know. In the early 80s, I got an Areo-Dynic. Also changed the Alternator to run the damn thing! Lol... That siren speaker used a much larger/ heavier U- bracket that bolted through the bar. It had to be heavy bc of the wind drag on that speaker. I remember the noise from these bars at highway speeds was really loud. Except the Areo-Dynic. I think Federal figured it out by then.. Good job on your build.
@marcs3982 Thank you for your time serving your community. I was a volunteer for 12 years here in Florida. In my county, they didn't let us do roof lights. So i had a windshield light. Red that was for fire. But after a while, they band us from using those saying that it was a liability. Right now, the one bar left to get is a twinsonic.
Bracket looks great!!

This will be my first year with a haunt and I'm looking for ideas and received many from your videos. Well done! On your walk through I particularly like the head on top of the tombstone that follows you, the endless hallway and your animatronic with the coffin inside your church is particularly good. I enjoyed it all. Nice job.

I seen your last video you offered plans for the old door. Are you still sending the plans out. My station could definitely use this.

Great video, thanks for sharing, i know is old but is a goody. I was wondering do the gauges have glass or plastic faces?
@@testos2701 all plastic.
@@bluedakota80 So I went ahead an installed the gauges, 2020 Mustang EB base, and the oil pressure don't work, bummer, but the cable was there, and thanks to you the install was a breeze. Wondering is a tune will activate it?
@testos2701 I've been told some could, but i haven't gotten a straight answer from anyone which one would.
@@bluedakota80 I think I got it figured out in my case anyways. The sending unit on the base EB which has a green connector with just one pin by the oil filter won't send the proper signal to the oil pressure gauge, it acts as an on/off switch, maybe with a mid point reading because the base cars don't have and actual gauge, is just an indicator, low, normal, high, those are the 3 readings you can get from that combination used on non PP ecoboost engines. The PP ecoboost engines come with a 3 conductor black connector by the oil filter, I got BAMA working on a possible solution if there is one, but unless the sending unit on my car's engine is not change to the 3 pin black connector I don't see how this could work. Hoping to find a hidden 3 pin connector wiring harness tucked away somewhere in the car's engine compartment! Maybe by installing a full digital gauge that has that low, normal, high scale, but not with the ones that comes with the PP ecoboost and most GTs and or others as well. Bottom line, check your sending unit by the oil filter if you got a base model, if is green you will know what to expect if is black you are in good shape! The gauges look nice though, just not the pressure one since is not moving! The 4 pin connector was in the back of the radio tucked back there, it was there, so my question is why put the 4 pin connector there if on a base model the sending unit will not work with the gauges the 4 pin connector is for!
@testos2701 Yeah, the ones with the gauge factory. Come with a three wire sending unit. I found a wiring diagram a while back, showing it. But you have to connect it to the ECM, and then the ECM has to be programmed to recognize it so the gauge will work. Since it all runs through the ECM. And i haven't found a shop willing to do that. With the liability of doing damage to the cars electronic. Figured one of these days ill find a shop to do it.

Rather than using filters for the rotators, why not paint each bulb itself with lens paint? I did it and it works.
@tommytomtomt i didn't think about using transparent paint for that. Plus, with the filters, i can change it up.
Thank you bro I was looking at these exhausts bc they are cheap used and wanted active exhaust on my miata thanks to you I'm confident in it now
Where in Florida are you located? I would love to bring my car to your shop to get this done
@@LiLSeBSwagg im not a shop. Just a DIY-ER
@ ah ok. I bought a quad tip active exhaust taken off a mach1 and I currently have a single tip active exhaust from X Force. The X Force wiring is essentially what you show in this video so it should all work, but I dont trust myself cutting open the small black motors and doing the wiring. Any chance I could bring you the car and pay you to do that part?
@LiLSeBSwagg no im sorry. I only work on my own stuff.
I just opened mine on my 2024 it’s to much to explain but I bought a new one and I opened one because the cel I have is saying the pcm cannot detect the actuators position so idk if I can adjust the position or if it needs to be calibrated.
@E85_STI did your car come factory with it? If so, you should have a warranty. Have the dealer look into it. If you are adding it. Im not sure how Ford changed the system with the new generation.
How do we take the lenses on and off
@Domsgenerallandscape the lenses are held on with two screws on each end. Take those out and slide the lenses outward from the center. Or if you mean the reflector, those have a nut on the underside. Undo the silver plate they are attached to, and you'll see the nuts. Will have to cut the wires to remove.
@ that’s what i thought I have the screws out but i couldn’t get it to slide the previous owner dropped it and cracked it and I didn’t wanna break it anymore than it is thank you
@Domsgenerallandscape if its being stubborn spray a little silicone spray or WD 40 along the bottom on the rubber gasket. And just slow wiggle it and pull slowly. Ive had some not want to move. And thats what i do.
@ thank you!!
amazing
Were you running code when you were on the actual road with cars on it or was that just for the intro skit?
Just the intro. Lights went off at the end of my driveway.

The Twin-Sonics had the quietest drive
@marcs3982 they're old and noisy for sure.
Thanks man! Just bought a hood from Tesla 2K.. and when I picked it up, they opened the top and everything looked OK then they immediately went in and closed for the day and as I was loading, I noticed one of those studs had been pushed in. Locally it’s just for one of the bolts for one of the 2 shocks. So not quite as much pressure as yours, but same dilemma aluminum hood, and was about to go run all over town seeing if somebody could try and weld the thing. Where did you get the studs from? I’d like mine to be as close to the factory size as possible. Still have the factory bolt so when I touch everything up once it’s painted, I can touch that bolt up and hopefully it won’t be very noticeable. Again thank you.
@vrgs1385 i bought one of those variety packs from O'Reilly. Came with the stud and nuts for them. There were three different sizes. Now they weren't the same thread size, but the diameter of the stud was the same. So i had to use the nut that came with it. A little black paint, and you can't tell.
@@bluedakota80 awesome there’s an O’Reillys right down the street. I don’t think I’ll have room to sneak a tool behind so hopefully it’s strong enough. If not, I’ll have to go the other route. I do painless repair or at least I’m a broker now, but I have all my old tools I might be able to sneak one in behind for leverage. I’ll post back tomorrow and let you know how it went. Thank you so much for the video again!
@vrgs1385 hope it works out and gets you all fixed up
Thank you
Thanks for sharing! Do you have a photo of the spike(s) & washer(s) you used to anchor the structure into the ground? I’m essentially creating a base that’s an open back cabinet to build/mount the obelisk on top of and I’m considering spike/washer in through the base which is 2 inche thick foam/ combined with a few rebar/PVC sleeves countersunk around the perimeter of the base.
By the way I am not placing a statue on top of my obelisks so it won’t be top heavy. You might like this being a Ghostbusters fan but I’m trying to create an altar for Gozer (seran wrap/packing tape) and a few small store bought skeleton dogs and off to each side of the altar the obelisks to hold my lights to shine on Gozer/dogs as well as my foggers.
@kevincrabtree3482 i don't. But it's just a piece of schedule 40 water pipe. That i welded a large washer to. Then, i welded a bolt to the other end and grinded it to a point.
My question, where do people even buy these?
@vanbooth9564 all kinds of places. The manufacturer, county auctions, marketplace,, ebay, garage sales, swap meets, and other slae sites.
2:52 Awesome work! Do you have any tutorials or instructional on how you made the obelisks or an alter like on top of Dana’s apartment in GB1? Huge Ghostbusters fan here and I am struggling to make my own. I have a Ghostbusters themed Halloween display too and been wanting to add those elements. A few years ago I made my own gravestones using 2” thick pink insulation foam.

How did you attach your roof? Nails? Screws?
@aprilh691 i used caulking on the whole roof. I used nails where i had foam on foam. And screws where it was over the wood framing. Those were mainly to hold until the caulking dried. Im adding a link to my more detailed video if you wanted to see more of the fab. I still didn't show the roof. @@bluedakota80 thank you! Love your videos! I built a sleepy hollow bridge out of wood and foam and need to be able to assemble and disassemble it so I can store it. I was looking for ways to attach the foam roof. I might use bolts, but am not completely sure yet.
@aprilh691 you can glue wood to the foam. And when you set it on your bridge, you can do screws. Then when you take it apart. The roof with those pieces of wood will come off together.

Love the classics!
Old school rocks
@shawnramsey8264 🤘 Oh yeah
Do you mind adding a list of materials used, with links, if applicable? These look awesome, and would like to try it myself. Thanks!
@robvader theres not much in the way of links. Just about everything I used, you can get at Home Depot. The main parts is 3/4 foam wall board. You can use the style with the foil or the style without. The one without is normal a pink or blue color. The glue i used is from Loctite PL 300 caulking that i got at Home Depot. But any siliconized acrylic caulking will work. Then i get a box of 3" nails. Those aren't specific, just a nail. Its purpose is to hold the parts while the caulking dries. All the paints are latex house paint. Indoors or out works just fine. After all, they are not supposed to be perfect looking. The pray gun is from Harbor freight. They are cheap there. If you wanted to do the ball on top. I got those from Hobby Lobby they always have their Christmas stuff out super early. They are the large 6" Christmas ornaments. And last the fence. I kept those simple. Those are made with 1x2s from Home depot as well. And painted black and brown. Black for iron brown for rust. Depending on how big you want to go and how detailed they are, you can make two columns with one 4 x 8 sheet of foam board. In the design i made with leaving one side open for lights. Feel free to ask anything. I'll help with any questions you have.
