The Forgotten Feast: An Ancient Truth Restored In a time long before the arrival of foreign sails on the horizon, the lands of the Americas thrived with the wisdom of the people who walked in harmony with nature. The forests, rivers, and plains provided everything needed-food, medicine, and spirit-woven together in an intricate dance of balance and respect. This is a story of those times, a forgotten truth of sacred herbs and nourishment, untarnished by the arrival of foreign ways. --- In a vast village nestled between the plains and the mountains, the people of the Longhouse lived in unity with the earth. Each morning, Grandmother Moon’s blessings lingered as the villagers prepared their morning feast. The scent of sacred herbs-cannabis, San Pedro, peyote, and kratom-mingled with the sweet aroma of roasted maize and wild berries. The elders spoke of these herbs as gifts from the divine, powerful not just in ceremony but in daily life, healing the body and spirit. Young Kai, an apprentice healer, listened closely to Elder Nayeli’s teachings. “Remember, Kai,” she whispered, sprinkling ground Erythroxylon coca leaves into a stew, “these herbs are more than medicine. They are nourishment. When the body and spirit are one, we are strong.” Today’s feast was special-a celebration of unity. Hunters had returned with buffalo, their hearts full of gratitude for the life given. Fish, caught from the pure river, were laid beside it, seasoned with sacred herbs and wild greens. Each dish was a prayer, each bite a connection to the earth and its spirits. Suddenly, the village storyteller, Tahu, rose. His voice carried the weight of generations. “There will come a time when strangers will bring strange beasts-pigs that trample the earth, devouring without respect. They will tell our children that these beasts belong here, that their ways are superior. They will forget the strength of the buffalo, the purity of the fish, and the power of our sacred herbs.” Kai’s eyes widened. “But why would they lie?” Tahu smiled sadly. “Because forgetting weakens us. They will replace our herbs with their own ways, calling them wrong, dangerous. They will hide the truth that our people knew: Ayahuasca, magic mushrooms, and Iboga are not just for ceremony but for life itself.” Elder Nayeli added, “Our food sustains not just our bodies but our spirits. These herbs cleanse us, sharpen our minds, and open our hearts. We honor them not as ‘drugs,’ as those strangers will call them, but as sacred gifts.” --- Generations passed, and the prophecy came true. Foreign ships brought pigs that rooted through the sacred earth, and new stories overshadowed the old truths. The colonizers called the sacred herbs evil, dangerous, stripping them from the meals and ceremonies of the people. They told tales of their superiority, hiding the wisdom of the land. But the spirit of the Longhouse people was not lost. Today, those who listen can still hear the whispers of Elder Nayeli and Tahu in the rustle of leaves and the crackle of fire. The truth remains in the herbs, waiting to be remembered: cannabis, peyote, San Pedro, kratom, and magic mushrooms are not mere relics-they are keys to a forgotten harmony, a feast for the body and soul, untouched by the foreign lies of pigs and conquest. And so, the forgotten feast lives on, a story waiting to be told, a truth waiting to be reclaimed.

WOW! WOW! WOW! I'm so impressed, just keep up the good work, U wonderful, courageous people of TURTLE ISLAND. I'm very well aware of your sad history, n so is the world at large. I empathise, I feel your pain immensely but don't ever despair, U are getting there. I know of the lies n betrayals, the decimated bison herds, the interferences of your cultural lifestyle etc..... no human race has the right to do that. It was a sick society, greedy n grasping that destroyed so much good n great in those lovely, hospitable tribes, those utterly brave warriors of Turtle Island.....they would never b forgotten for they shed copious litres of blood, sweat n tears, trying to protect their beautiful culture n Mother Nature. God be with You all. STAY BLESSED, MY FRIENDS. From an Indian South African. 💟🕉️💟

Not totally accurate, the powhatans unlike other indian tribes were a confederacy of conquered first nations, the powhatan confederacy was warlike and aggressive. These indians werent like the relatively peaceful northern tribes which the puritans barbarously slew unprovoked. The powhatans were itching for a fight. And every conflict was instigated by them. The English government in Virginia, retaliated (as governments do yes?). The Puritans claimed to be righteous men of God fleeing from the tyrannical English, yet they were ruthless in their purges of the natives, while the supposedly tyrannical Anglicans were hesitant and unwilling to throw men and resources attacking the indians, unless left with no choice. This is what the powhatans gave them, no choice. Its sad what happened to the Powhatans but lets not excuse their warlike and murderous tendencies just to bash on the British. In this specific case, the natives of Virginia certainly brought this sad fate on themselves.

I forgot, they have to be held responsible for every crime that they have committed. Do any of you out there have any idea why Epstein's list has not been talked about. But the bigger question is why are we just letting it slide without anyone going to jail for what they did to all those little girls they took to the little island for the rich and famous. Come on man let's demand justice. Who the f__ k care's about how much money they have, put the uglyness of society in jail where they belong. And give their richs to every victom they forced to go through life with, I'm just guessing but, that has to be the worst memory anyone has to take through their lives. So far we are only aware of a couple of the guilty perps. Just let me ask you this, just knowing the couple of perps that have come to the public eye, would anyone out there want to go through life with that ugly picture in your head. These young boy's and girls have to carry that with them. I guess I should rephrase that, any of them that made it out of there alive. Does anyone really understand what they have done, and for how long they have been doing it. Am I the only person who wants these monster's taking out of society no matter who they are, THEY HAVE TO PAY FOR WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO ALL THOSE CHILDREN. Or do we just sit back and let it continue

Just a point. Scalping was introduced to Native Americans by the Portuguese (if I remember correctly) because a priest disliked the keeping Native American heads as proof of them being killed. It was believed that no one could survive a scalping and it would remove all the problems than storing the heads.

The material by Robert Sepehr notes an American Indian book around 1906, that white people welcome them to America and taught them all they knew. That America really means means "land of the feathered serpent" Quetzalcoatl (the true white brother). These white people with blue eyes were throughout North and South America and the spanish invasion of South America was successful because the native people thought they were the returning true white brother. Who Hopi refer to as the Pahana.

Stone Age yet knew to bathe unlike the smelly European who thought bathe would allow evil spirits to enter their skin 😂 one persons way of culture is another person way of thinking is inferior. But built entire societies that were created 23000 years before 1492. Living in the stone age but had plantations of food. Living in the Stone Age but were able to clothe and cook. Living in the Stone Age for 23000 years and still were thriving just in a different way to the Europeans. I don’t see the UK filled with structures that no one know how they were created. 😂😂😂
