Who was the voice on the first commercial? He was also a DJ at WYDD but I can’t think of his name.

There’s an ad for the “new” Terminator movie, so I’d say late October/early November 1984 as that’s when the Terminator came out. They also reference the Pittsburgh Spirit soccer team which folded in 1986.

I just found this, what a flashback, I was 18 back then. This was an awesome AOR format station and I listened to it regularly in Youngstown OH, along with WDVE out of Pittsburgh and The Wizard - WSRD in Youngstown which is now HOT101. I have a couple of WWKS surveys from 1977 and 1978 I was able to save. It doesn't surprise me that you found this at the Rogers FM, I have been going there since the late 70s.
