For the record, I still consider Baba/Dankalf to be much faster drivers than me, I think I've just found a way to gain more time from the gutters in a way that others might not know about.
If the better drivers were to really push this track to its limits after learning how to use the gutters, then I genuinely think we could see times as low as sub 20 with the 86 tuned. Maybe this video will help with that, but we'll see...
edit: Current record for this layout seems to be a 4:20 now (by Dankachu). I think I could definitely get close to that if I grinded this track out, but I would rather focus on others for now.

Also, I'm not sure what it is about this car but I just *cannot* do hairpins in it. A sub 4.15 time as promised in my last video. I think a 4.10 is still possible, especially given some of the errors I made in this run (0:55 to 1:05 was especially bad). Anyway, I guess I'm done with Tsuchisaka for at least a little while now. *also, excuse the incorrect time typo in the intro lol*

what's your setup on this car? have you changed something?
in the 2005 live action movie bunta states that takumi fastest was 3 minutes down the mountain the dude in the vid is over a full minute slower then takumi

I even see room for improvement! I bet if you were being pushed hard by someone behind you or in front you would behave just like Takumi and focus even harder By room for improvement I mean using the whole road and the car to its very limits

hi sorry question about which Akina you use i had 3 Akina but 1have no gutter and 2 are flat gutter , its quite borring i got EK Akina and Project touge from touge Union but no gutter or it is a VIP mod?
I don't know if the specific layout is available from the Touge Union discord anymore. Back when this track was still used there the server download link had a layout specific to the one that they ran on their servers. It had the boosted gutters (like the arcade layouts), but without the arcade track objects and slightly altered starting and finishing lines.

I'd also consider trying Project Kaido's rendition of Akina (scratch made) that came out last year: www.racedepartment.com/downloads/akina-2022-yaseone-pass-route-33.53199/ - It's a lot more accurate to the real Akina and is the more popularly run version these days.

How’d you get such good gutter runs? I’m trying to do this in an aw11 and I can’t match that advantage that the gutters give you!

Actually, how to use the gutter? I tried to use the gutter but the car juz bounced out. Is there any setup? I’m using default setup and the car understeer as hell, I need to make a really big steering angle to make the car turn in. My cornering speed is same as yours in the corners which don’t have gutters but the lap time comes out is 10second slower._.
Ain't no way that's a 4:24. Swear it wasn't even that fast, that was the slowest looking 4:32> I've ever seen. Either your settings are wack, or that time is fishy.
Oh, also to clarify there's no blankets and temp settings were the same that were used for Touge Union's Battle stage events (20/27 I think?), though it has been a while since the run so I can't rightfully remember the exact number, just that it was whatever Battle stage used.

Doing this at 3:40s on arcade initial d ver 3, stage 3 tuned Rx 7 spirit. But of course it's an arcade.
I've only played IDAS8 and IDAS0 so not sure how it compares with 3, but I can remember that the times could go as low as sub 3.
@@lewisyoung8375 the akagi tracks are under 3's, but akina is longer, maybe I forgot that the correct time, it was 10 yrs ago

The sense of speed is probably the best I've ever seen in a game
You should see Beamng Touge. Makes 30 MPH feel like 60 on the touge.

Look up "Initial D mods in assetto corsa" on youtube and there is a whole video of a guy showing off Initial D mods and one is the tachometer
