Live, Laugh, Love Gilbert!! 🫶 I’m in the 2023-2024 Marching Band :)
the guy putting his phone up is so distracting
4:22 LMAOOO
11:25 11:35
The other instruments had a chance to lead, and they only produced chaos. 0:53! At last, the TUBAS speak. The gravity of the situation is finally realized, and peace ensues.
The thumbnail says it all, a phone in the way the whole show...
To the six folks who disliked This video: I’d like to take you out to the woodshed to meet my little friend. He’d like to pat your backside a time or two to knock some sense into you.
badass af
Honestly, i dont even care that i can hear the screams over the brass. It makes me feel like im actually there just with out the face melting feeling
1:24 tenors cleann
Ok so is he gonna take a picture of each set??
Why oh why would you cut it off during the last hit 😩😩😩
man... I wish I was exposed to DCI at a younger age.
Same. I definitely wouldn’t have chosen a woodwind lol. I switched to brass for marching in high school, but I taught myself. I didn’t have the fundamentals or the years of practice to have a shot at a World Class Corps.
@@justamaninTN depends on your work ethic. I played flute and sax before trumpet and ended up aging out in a top 3 world class corps. I had only played 2 years before making it into a world class corps. Plenty of people I marched with did the same and have even won DCI. If you're still of age, keep grinding it out! They look for work ethic and talent. Not just talent.
Rat Slayer The other thing is, I’d rather get an internship and make money as opposed to dropping $4000 on DCI.
What is so sad is that this band has been decimated . This year the roster is right around 55 members . Not sure if that includes Guard or not . Fortunately they are still doing well . State championship this weekend . Hopefully they will place first in 2A . Took second last weekend at lower state . Strom Thurmond took it by 1/10th of a point .
2:04 to 2:15 ..... omg
It was a great concert!
What is this nonsense
I was there but.. I cant remember seeing them ugh that makes me so angry.
nice I go to gilbert elmhcery
That show is just amazing. I have watched at least 50 times this year. Quite a low brass
So blessed to have marched with this corps this year. Such an amazing experience. Plus, this great video of my home show makes it that much better :) I end the show one step to the left of the 50 in the front of the Crown :) The crowd's reaction at 11:26, 11:35 and the end made this all worth while :)
I've followed DCI since the late eighties and this show stands among the most exciting i've ever seen. Job well done.
You were part of one of the best horn lines in recent dci history in my opinion
God you guys were amazing. Absolutely unreal dude.
that is one of the most memorable moments in the history of DCI bravo
you're awesome! Still one of the best brass performances in the history of DCI. this is the decade of Crown! :)
southcarolina
Unless this is a Gilbert High School of a different state, this is not the Arizona Gilbert high. lol
11:46 the cry of the Super Band Nerd Parent.
I wish the video had used the music of the band instead of the piano music. I like what he did at 2:30. Those who remember the "glory days" can feel proud of what they have done. I think GHS band's best days are right around the corner!
