I'm from Northern California and remember when he was our governor and yes, I was 18 going on 19 when he became our President. He was my favorite President too for vatious reasons. Wish he was still alive to be our President but at least he left our nation a great leader, one not only respected by us Americans, our troops, our allies but also feared by our enemies. He was a high moral man, filled with integrity plus he had a great sense of humor. He left an indelible mark on many not only here but worldwide.

As one American, I am PROUD how well you were able to bring in the ACTUAL historical details to correct the story. Most people don’t even know we fought the Brits twice lol, over many videos I’ve tried to at least share my love for our country and this story of our history, while at least given more clear context to give a better accuracy. All in all though, this has seemed to contribute to an uplift in American spirits, if not that, have a lot of foreigners actually UNDERSTAND American patriotism and how our flag and national anthem is the core to our spirit and why we are very protect of it. A lot of other countries have made the mistake thinking we’re like them, the flag is about the government and the national anthem is a call for rallying the country. Many of them get a reality check that there is a deeper meaning that many Americans who know their history holds dear to our hearts, why every time we listen to a national anthem live we have this build up of love for our country and honor and respect to anyone who has died for that flag, the representation of freedom, the symbol of the American citizens. It is not about showing off being prideful, it is about reflecting how our country exists because an American fort defies the odds to face the superior British empire but remain standing, and how blessed we are to have inherited such a gift, to hoping to pass this gift on to the future like our ancestors did fighting for the flag to stay up.

Actually the United States didn't suffer all too bad from the second world war it was just a very brutal conflict. We didn't suffer too bad numbers wise but we definitely suffered through the consequences of that war. In total in World War II we lost about 400,000 which wild that is absolutely terrible and I don't want to downplay that at all it is one of the smaller death counts in comparison to what had been already going on before we joined.

It was at a hotel in downtown Louisville,, Kentucky. I believe it is the Hyatt Regency Hotel. I hope you will visit Kentucky one day. I live in Lexington, Kentucky, which is the Horse Capitol of the World. Lexington is surrounded by over 500 gorgeous horse farms.

My dad was also there in June of '44 on Omaha beach. A few weeks later he was hit by a sniper's bullet. Fortunately, he survived. He was shipped back to the US where he spent the remainder of the war. He never spoke of this. In fact, he rarely spoke of his time in the military. If he did mention it at all, it was usually some funny story about him and his buddies. I only learned of this after he died. My uncle told me the story. Years later I found corroborating evidence in his hometown newspaper's archives. Even though he was wounded he was able to return fire and save himself and two buddies. He was always my hero and as it turns out he was a real hero.
