Приєднався 31 лип 2019
Founded in 1994 to service the growing need for offshore rental cranes and expert lifting solutions in the offshore oil fields of Asia, for the past 25 years we have been passionate about two things: adding value to our clients' projects and pushing the boundaries of engineering in offshore lifts. Today Thunder Cranes continues to do what we are passionate about, and the results are evident in the equipment and people we deploy to some of the toughest challenges in the offshore oil and gas industry. The evolution of our proprietary crane technology has enabled Thunder Cranes to stay on the leading edge of efficiency and safety in the offshore rental crane business. We employ a self-lifting system that allows even our largest cranes to be rigged up on platforms where there is no existing lifting capability, with fast installation times that continues to exceed our clients’ expectations.
Flare Tip Replacement - Lifting Solutions
Our Thunder Solutions division provides specialized lifting equipment and crew to support a flare tip replacement operation.
See: www.thundercranes.com/flare-tip-replacement/
In the preparation stage, experienced professionals work closely with you to analyse your needs and develop a customized lifting solution that fits your project scope, ensuring optimal performance and results.
During the execution stage, a team of lifting experts support complete flare tip changeout operations both offshore and onshore with the innovative flare tip handling system - the TC MLS (modular lifting system).
The TC-MLS modular lifting system is constructed with lightweight and high-grade aluminium, and can handle loads up to 5MT. Operated by winches from the main deck level, the TC-MLS can be initially set up by manual handling on flare tip platforms without any vessel crane or helicopter assistance and it can reach where conventional cranes have difficulty accessing.
Prior to project execution, our teams will devise lift plans and develop a method statement, structural calculation report as well as a 3D model of the step-by-step execution. During execution the flare tip may be brought back to the main deck of the asset, or alternatively, directly lifted to a supply vessel.
TC-MLS is a modular A-Frame construction and can be used on most type of flare structures.
- It can be deployed both onshore and offshore.
- It can be deployed on platforms and FPSO.
- It is a self-lifting system and there is no need for additional cranes or helicopters.

It involves the application of a static, dynamic, or functional load for a period of time. It is conducted after completing the visual crane inspection. A load test is usually expressed as a percentage of the working load limit or safe work...

Maintenance, repairs and non-routine project work on tankers/VLCC's, bulk carriers and FPSO Vessels may, from time-to-time, require a range of lifting and skidding services, including portable-modular rental cranes. Much of a vessel's deck area will be out of the reach of the vessel's own deck cranes and lifting devices. On FPSO for example, up to 70% of the deck area may be outside the reach r...
