"Guilty" is Taemin's title track on his 4th mini Korean solo album. I think the story in the MV is a continuation of the themes surrounding Taemin's previous releases. Particularly connected to his Never Gonna Dance Again trilogy of albums -- "2 Kids", "Criminal" and "Idea" -- and Advice album themes. As Taemin has explained, "Guilty" is about a lover who DOESN'T feel guilty about all the bad things they have done in the relationship and they feel no shame or remorse for the pain and suffering they may have caused the other person. Which, if you connect it to the messages from his previous MVs, this easily could be interpreted as a metaphor for everything Taemin has gone through in his career and life. As an idol, he has been manipulated and controlled his whole life. Debuting at 14 years old, Taemin has lived his entire life in the public eye under a microscope, he is expected to be flawless and perfect, and people are constantly telling him what to do and how he should act, etc. However, now that he has turned 30, I think he is embracing a new chapter in his life where he is saying he is no longer going to allow people to manipulate him and he is officially taking back control. In other words, he's not going to feel guilty any more for being himself and doing what makes him happy. The story in the MV also makes more sense if you pair it with the 2 teaser videos that were released a few days before the MV dropped. In the teasers you will see Taemin being manipulated even more by outside forces and people who literally at one point hand him a gun and force him to shoot something or someone, which is all part of the metaphor that has to do with taking control of his life, etc. If you delve in deep you will see that "Guilty" could be interpreted as his relationship with fame and the different sides of who he is as a person and artist. Everything you see and hear can be thought of as a metaphor for life told using biblical references as an underlying theme showcasing Taemin's Catholic faith.The majority of Taemin's songs and MVs touch on concepts, stories and themes from the Bible, as a metaphor to explain what he has gone through growing up as an idol and the journey he has taken in order to find confidence in and acceptance with who he is as a person and an artist. Taemin is the main dancer and a main vocalist of SHINee. However, because he is a member of SHINee, this means he can do it all. SHINee are known for the fact that there are no longer any fixed roles in their group, the main vocalists can rap and the rappers can fill in as main vocalists at any moment. However, what they are really recognized for is the fact that they are one of the best vocal groups to ever exist. All of the SHINee members are top tier singers and dancers. You may find this hard to believe, but when Taemin debuted as a member of SHINee way back in 2008, he didn't have a whole lot of lines in their songs. People even used to make fun of Taemin's singing and they would say that he was tone deaf and couldn't sing. However, it's sort of a misconception that Taemin "couldn't sing." it wasn't that he couldn't sing, it was just that he debuted when he was so young -- he was only 14 years old -- that his voice hadn't really developed yet and he didn't really have a good grasp of how to use his voice and produce the sounds he wanted with it. So, in the beginning, when he sang, he was often flat or his voice cracked or he was off key or out of tune, etc. And because he was being compared to the other members of SHINee who are all 2 to 4 years older than him, and the other members had such phenomenal voices to start out with, it really made Taemin sound like he was lacking. (SHINee are considered THE premier vocal group that everyone dreams of being as good as.) That's why in SHINee's first few songs Taemin only has a few lines, and most of the time he was just given big solo dance breaks to fill the stage at his parts in the song. However, if he was really tone deaf, he never would have become an SM Idol trainee -- SM would have put him on the dance track and probably steered him toward becoming a backup dancer -- and he definitely would have never become the amazing singer that he is today. As you probably know, someone who is truly tone deaf is physically unable to hear the difference in the notes and is unable to carry a tune. Taemin is considered one of the greatest dancers of all time. He has literally been voted one of the top two BEST dancers in all of Kpop by his peers and industry experts. Literally everyone in the Kpop industry looks up to Taemin and idolizes him. But Taemin really wanted to prove to everyone that he wasn't just a dancer, so he spent a lot of extra time concentrating on vocal lessons and the other SHINee members -- especially Onew and Jonghyun (two of the best vocalists in the industry) -- spent some serious time coaching and mentoring him until he learned what it took to match their vocal range and to use his voice. (For the first year or more after SHINee's debut Taemin spent hours in vocal lessons and he would push himself every day until his nose would bleed because he was so tired and worn out, etc. He practically lived in the training rooms at SM.) When you watch a live performance, you may be shocked because Taemin and SHINee sound so perfect live even though they are dancing so intensely, but that is why they are so highly respected by everyone. Other Idols and audio sound technicians, etc. who have witnessed the SHINee members performing live are always blown away, because in the parts of the song where most singers would take a break and rely on the backing track vocals to cover their voices so they can catch their breath and recover, this is where the SHINee members actually ramp it up and become their most powerful. Taemin -- and SHINee -- live is unmatched. It's literally referred to as the SHINee standard. It's the standard that all other groups strive to reach, and SHINee are the vocalists that all other artists try to emulate. Now, if you haven't already, you need to check out Taemin's Killing Voice performance. I have a feeling when you watch his Killing Voice you will find that hearing him sing "Guilty," as well as his other songs, live that you will be even more impressed. There is a reason why Taemin is like none other.

The cute fuzzy red, pink, purple and blue monsters you see in Key's "Good & Great" MV, which are called BOK-SILLee, have sort of become Key's mascot, ever since they were first introduced as part of his Gasoline album merchandise and concept. (You can actually purchase those monsters as little stuffed toys.) Toward the end of the MV, you see Key dressed like a BOK-SILLee as he tries to break free from the boring life of the working class. Fun fact: During SHINee's 15th anniversary promotions each of the SHINee members had an animal that represented them, Onew's was a baby bunny, Taemin's was a chick, Minho's was a baby squirrel and Key's was a baby BOK-SILLee. How I interpret the "Good & Great" lyrics and MV is that Key is experiencing the monotony of life as an average person who spendings every day doing the same things. Like most people, to keep motivated he keeps telling himself, "I'm good, I'm great ..." I should be grateful because I have a job and I'm getting paid. But as we see in the MV, life is a never-ending loop like a character in a game or the robotic life of an office worker. We see him smiling, looking happy as he tells himself that "I'm good, I'm great," but everyone he is interacting with just keeps nodding along until their heads fall off, representing how they are not really being fully engaged in the conversation or whatever task they are trying to complete, etc. Day in and day out life is always the same, we just keep going through our tasks, trying to get ahead, with little to no recognition from anyone except ourselves. Which is why we see in the choreography that he pats himself on the head, because the only encouragement he gets is from himself. "Good & Great" is the beginning of a new music style and concept for Key. Including his Japanese album and repackages, Good & Great is his 6th solo album, so he said he wanted to try something new. This song, and the whole Good & Great album, is so perfectly Key. It never fails, no matter what he does, it always feels like it was meant for him. Yet again, everything from his outfits to the backup dancers looks, to the set designs and story concept, as well as the song lyrics, and the whole album was designed or chosen by him. Key is involved in the entire creative process when it comes to his solo work and everything you see and hear is what he envisioned for this entire album concept. Every aspect is all part of his design. He always puts things that represent him in his MVs, such as his love of The Sims, etc. Key is our fashionista of the group, who is SHINee's stylist for a lot of their MVs and stage outfits. He is known for really paying attention to detail when it comes to fashion. To Key, fashion is about being unique and looking for ways to stand out, without being outrageous. So, everything you see him wearing will be very trendy and fashionable. Many people in the industry look to Key when it comes to fashion trends. That's also why SM has made him its director of fashion. SHINee is also known for creating fashion trends, so designers really covet a chance to work with any of the members of SHINee -- but especially Key -- because SHINee will give them street cred and undoubtedly make them more popular. He is also regarded as SHINee's dance copy machine. Key has the ability to see and remember choreography the fastest in the group. He has a photographic memory when it comes to choreography, so he only needs to watch the dance once and he has it memorized. He is an unbelievably skilled dancer, who can take any dance and make it his own. And on top of all of that, Key is SHINee's fluent English speaker, and he is almost as good as a native speaker. He is recognized for being one of the best non-native English speakers in the Kpop industry. (In middle school he studied for a short time in Australia and New York. Plus, his grandma had an English tutor when he was growing up.) That is why his pronunciation of the English lines in his songs are so crisp and clear. As a member of SHINee -- which is one of SM Entertainment's top vocal groups, who were vocal coaches and mentors to a lot of SM trainees, including several of the EXO members -- Key's amazing vocal range and dance skills shouldn't be surprising, that's just what the members of SHINee are known for. And, not only is Key an amazing singer, but he is also one of SHINee's rappers. How often do you see a rapper with that type of vocal range? That's why SHINee are so highly respected in the industry because almost no one can do it the way SHINee does it. As SM Entertainment's experimental boy group, everything SHINee does is meant to be the first and they are expected to set the trend. Everything the members of SHINee release should be a sound and style you have never heard in Kpop before, because they are the ones who are supposed to introduce the next style and sound to the industry. With every new song SHINee produces it's expected to be different than the last -- including the members solo work -- so you will never hear the same style or sound from Key in any of his songs, even on the same album, and yet, somehow it will always be very Key-like. As you are starting to discover, SHINee are known for having some of the best singers in all of Kpop. If you were to listen to Key singing a cappella while performing this intense choreography he would sound just as flawless as in the MV. That is why, even as rookies, senior artists would stop what they were doing to watch SHINee's rehearsals on music programs because SHINee's vocal talent is that impressive and nobody was performing the way SHINee was doing it. When SHINee debuted in 2008, all 5 of the members were teenagers -- Key was only 16 -- and they were one of the youngest groups at the time. However, even then, they were shocking everyone with their talent. SHINee was the first group to demonstrate how it was possible to sing live while performing intense choreography and still maintain stable vocals. Before SHINee, the thought within the industry was that it wasn't possible to sing live and also perform high intensity choreography at the same time. At that time, most groups would either sing live and have simple choreography, or they would have crazy cool choreography but lip sync to their recorded vocals. SHINee was the group that changed the industry and proved that if you wanted to compete you needed to up your game. SHINee are always on another level and they are constantly outdoing themselves with every new project. It amazes me that after more than 16 years SHINee can still continue to reinvent the Kpop industry with every new release, whether it's as a group project or one of the member's solos, and yet they do it every time without fail. SHINee are the originators and trendsetters of everything you see Kpop groups doing today. If you enjoyed this, just wait until you hear his other solo songs. Key had his solo debut in 2018, so there is a lot more to check out from him, as well as more than 14 full length SHINee albums, numerous mini albums and hundreds of concert performances -- with 16 years of content to catch up on, you have a lot more to explore. ;)

"Sexy in the Air" and "Horizon" are Taemin's double lead tracks on his 5th mini Korean solo album named Eternal, and first release under his new company Big Planet Made as a soloist. (As a member of SHINee, he is still under SM Entertainment.) For "Sexy in the Air" what you are hearing is considered Boom Bap music style. And yes, the song is called "Sexy (sex) is in the Air," so what you are hearing is exactly what you think it is. The title and lyrics say "sexy" because it needs to be censored in order to be shown on network TV in Korea and for music shows, etc. I also think he could be saying "Sexy's in the air." (Taemin is 31 years old, so he's not a little kid anymore. :D) Taemin has released at least one song or album -- most of the time way more than just one -- as part of SHINee, as a member of a project group, as a solo artist or as a member of SuperM every year since SHINee's debut. (Except for 2022 because he was on hiatus while he carried out his public service duties as part of his military requirements.) Therefore, including his full-length albums, mini albums, and singles, etc., as well as his Japanese albums, Taemin has more than a dozen solo albums. Not to mention the 2 albums he has as a member of SuperM. And on top of all that, SHINee currently has 14 full-length Korean and Japanese albums, just as many repackaged albums, numerous mini albums, etc. Plus, he has held many solo concert tours -- he is currently on his first solo world tour (before this all his concert tours were all Japanese/Asian tours) -- as well as a world tour as a member of SuperM, and SHINee has held more than 100 concerts within 6 world tours so far. You have a TON to catch up on. :D SHINee were designed to be SM Entertainment's experimental boy group, so everything they do -- including the members' solo work -- is meant to be the first, and they are expected to create the trend. With every new song the SHINee members release, it's supposed to be different than the last, so you will never hear the same style or sound from Taemin. But it will somehow always have a very Taemin-like feel. With every release that the SHINee members have, they intentionally flip the script and change things up in the Kpop industry. That's why, when any of the members of SHINee make a comeback, everyone pays attention because they are looking to the members of SHINee to show them what the industry's next song style and dance trend will be. When the SHINee members do something, the industry takes note and follows suit. Just wait until you see and hear Taemin and SHINee perform live. SHINee are also known for their live vocals and amazing dancing. They have been nicknamed CD-INee or CD-eaters because they sound just as good live, if not better, than they do recorded. The SHINee members always sings live. The ONLY thing they are not good at is lip syncing, so they avoid it at all costs. Therefore, when you hear any of the members of SHINee singing, 95% of the time it will be live. It's a running joke between the fans and the members that when the SHINee members lip syncs you can tell because it's very obvious. In other words, unless Taemin is required to lip sync for a specific reason, he will always sing live. He has trained his entire career to build endurance and stamina in order to be able to sing live and maintain stable vocals all while performing extremely complex choreography for more than 3 hours straight in concert. That's why Taemin -- and SHINee -- is so highly respected among his peers.

Taemin is known for his popping, locking and ticking. He is considered an expert at being able to isolate every muscle and joint in his body and move each part of his body independently. As you may know, "rizz" is a pop culture term that means charisma and it describes a person's ability to charm people and make them fall for them, etc. Therefore, in his song Taemin is talking about how he has the "Rizzness" to make you pay attention to him. But he's not being cocky, I think he's being facetious. The message within the song is Taemin telling people that "no matter who you think I am or your opinion of who I should be or what I should or shouldn't do, you better be paying attention because I am going to be unapologetically ME." In other words, what you will see is unlike anything you have ever seen before. He is supposed to give off this "unsettled" or "creepy" feeling because it matches the theme of his songs and the story that he is telling in the MV. Everything he does is designed to enhance the story or message in the song. Wait until you see Taemin perform "The Rizzness" live. You think it was amazing in the MV, well it's even more unbelievable when you see him do it live. Live is where the SHINee members truly Shine and Taemin exudes command of the stage. He is considered one of the greatest dancers and performers of all time. Literally everyone in the Kpop industry looks up to him and idolizes him. There is even a well-known phrase in the Kpop industry, TIMRM (Taemindol) -- "Taemin is my role model" -- that is associated with him, because so many idols and people in general say that he is the reason why they wanted to become a singer and/or dancer. SHINee is made up of some of the absolute best singers, dancers and performers in the entire industry. Not only is Taemin an amazing dancer but, because he is a member of SHINee, he is also a top tier vocalist, who can sing live while performing intricate choreography like this and sound even better live than the studio recording. However, because he is a member of SHINee, this means he can do it all. Prior to becoming a trainee with SM at the age of 11, Taemin had no formal dance training. He started out as a self-taught popper and locker who learned to dance by copying dancers on TV, and, even then, as a trainee it was clear his skills as a dancer went far beyond the average dancer. He said he thought dancers like Kpop solo artist Bi Rain and Michael Jackson were cool, so he would try and copy their moves. He debuted as the main dancer of SHINee in 2008 at the age of 14 -- so he had about 3 years of training as a dancer once he became a trainee. Therefore, most of what you see is just natural talent and an unbelievable amount of dedication. Taemin has put in a lot of effort to become the magnificent and unique performer and person that we know him as today. But there really is no one that pushes him or holds him to a higher standard than himself. He has said that he really has never taken a true vacation since he was a trainee and he doesn't know what to do if he isn't constantly working and training. It's said that if Taemin's dance looks easy then it's actually really difficult and if it looks extremely difficult then it's even harder than you imagine. No one moves the way he does and even his backup dancers struggle to keep up with him. Choreographers say he is constantly asking them to make the choreography more difficult and he is never satisfied until the difficulty level is off the charts. As Taemin has said, there has never been anything that has come easy to him and he has only gotten to where he is today because he has worked hard to accomplish everything. He is constantly pushing himself to become the best of the best in everything he does. (Which is one of the reasons why he decided to leave SM earlier this year after 16 years and move to Big Planet Made for his solo career. He wanted to challenge himself and continue to push himself to keep getting better, etc.) Taemin has said, he has worked his entire career to create a style of dance that is unlike anything in the Kpop industry. And I would argue that that now extends to the entire industry of dance. No matter how skilled of a dancer and performer someone is, no one can execute the moves the way Taemin does it. Taemin will always be uniquely Taemin in every way.

The absolute talent this man has, his vocal rule that almost no one heard has now exploded the bubble of harmonization. I hope more people will see the artist who he is and not just his beautiful face. It is simply a musical genius, tooth -of -leon and roses are two different types of flower images with conflicting humor, this transition from lion tooth and roses is insane. He has perfectly captured how different the two songs are, besides the way music video has everything, from love to pauses, complaints and happiness, regardless of age, nationality. The music, this MV came to tell us everyone: "Hey, this is my voice and everything I can do with her," rubbed the voice in our typans, that was so amazing Fckin at the surreal level, and the part where The beat changes to slowly R&B is different and so thoroughly thought he gave me chills, no one does it as Jaehyun, also known as Jamal, truly a -prime work. They are all so ... gifts. They are unmistakably themselves and I love it. Taeil is really recovering yet. He is at MV Happy, but is not allowed to do the choreography, so the return stages will be 7 members. I love how Tyong is vocally all over the album and visually takes place on MV and the track videos. When I saw him promote this in his NHS, I was all tear. See Johnny as a center and looking so well ... and with many lines ... makes me so thrilled: ')). Amazing how Mark works so much, even though they are and two or more groups, their presence and speech are huge. Yuta well tanned hair, omg, I can't take it, kkkkk. The girl you mentioned a few times for her vocals (the blonde center girl in Sheesh, right before the rap part) is Chiquita, the maknae - in Batter Up she's still been 14, turned 15 for Sheesh. This group is absolutely amazing - vocals, rap, everything! And their versatility is stunning. Plus they are the queens of live singing - sometimes it's even better than in the MVs.
