In this module, I learned the difference between employment(you are employee) and Freelancing(you are a business) .There are two tyoes of agencies:agencies looking for newbie and agencies looking for experienced. If you are newbie you should start to newbie agency gain experience and apply to agencies that are looking for experience virtual assistant. Make them inspiration to thrive. For you to be the chosen one your business identity should be solid already, your tools and skills gaps should be onpoint complete, your business profile should be impactful, watch how you apply and it should be better lastly nail your interview session. YOU WILL MAKE IT! you will be rejected but you will make it in the future.

I've learned the tips in making Video introduction, the 10-80-10 rule guide me in making video introduction, cover letter and resume.Most important tip is that you should customize per job posting your resume, cover letter and video introduction.

Atlast, I found a perfect idea/sample on how to create a portfolio and how to elaborate in making a introduction video. I have a lot of changes to do.

I realized the characteristic that I need to improve on is “can embrace change.” I admit that one of my weaknesses is my fear of change. I am the type of person that follows a set of routines, and I find it hard to break a routine once I get so used to it. I'm quite aware that’s one of the areas that I need to improve on-being flexible and learning to make adjustments quickly.

Module 1 Learnings: 1. A virtual assistant is an online secretary. They provide service to clients remotely or at home, and digitally or online. 2. The main difference between employment and freelance. Employment: working for a company as an employee. Freelance: working under a company as a partner or business partner, and it depends on the contract. Independent contractors are not working as employees under the company; they are business partners with the company. 3. The key differences that stood out to me are: a day job is more stable and consistent when it comes to income, and has a structured and fixed schedule. When it comes to a freelance job, the income is inconsistent and unpredictable, and you get to be more independent and learn the process at your own pace. Each has its pros and cons in terms of convenience and fulfillment.

This gives you idea what is the worth of your services you can provide,and understand the importance of the skills you can offer

I've learn in module number 3 how to offer your service in package or with individual service, pricing of service you'll offer it could be offer per month, days or hourly rate and the schedule of payment and other terms you like to discuss with the client.
