Throughout this module, I gained insight into the essential skill sets necessary for becoming a successful virtual assistant. I learned the importance of time management and self-discipline in providing high-quality service to clients. Effective time management not only helps in completing tasks efficiently but also ensures that clients feel valued and prioritized. Additionally, I discovered three basic tools that can streamline workflow and improve productivity. Understanding how to use these tools effectively will be instrumental in my growth as a VA. I want to extend my gratitude to Coach Jam for sharing such valuable knowledge and resources. This learning experience has ignited my passion for the virtual assistant industry, and I am eager to continue my journey, acquire new skills, and enhance my capabilities. Need to focus on self motivation , I cant be a VA if al I want is to have a wfh job yet Im just busy watching facebooks reels or tiktok that doesn't have connect with VA .

I believe that the characteristics that I need to improve are Self-Leadership and Self-motivating. Whenever I work or learn something new, the first few days I will do it. Then there are days that I’m being inconsistent and ending up procrastinating. By joining this course, I want to challenge my self to finish all the assigned task, have self discipline and be consistent.

In this module, I learned about three types of schedules. Each of these schedules offers benefits for both the client and the virtual assistant, depending on their preferences. Some people prefer a strict, structured schedule, while others like more flexibility to work at their own pace. Additionally, the five tips shared in the module made me realize the importance of being more disciplined and distinguishing between my top and lower priorities in life. By doing this, I can stay focused and continue moving forward in my personal and professional growth.

In this module, I gained a clearer understanding of what being a virtual assistant truly means. I used to think that all VAs were freelancers, but that’s not always the case. Some virtual assistants work as employees, and that distinction is clearly outlined in their contracts. Coach Jam shared a valuable insight by breaking down the difference between having a day job and working as a freelancer. In a traditional day job, there's more structure-you have set hours, a consistent paycheck, and certain benefits that come with being an employee. Freelancing, on the other hand, offers flexibility and the freedom to manage your own time, but with that comes the responsibility of securing your own clients and managing contracts on your own terms. Understanding these differences made me realize that being a VA can take different forms, and knowing which path suits your goals is important for building a successful career.

Hi, everyone! I’ve just embarked on my 0-VA journey, and as part of my reflection for the assignment, I realized that self-motivation is a characteristic I really need to work on. I’ve always struggled with opening up to others, which has weakened my support system. I tend to bottle up my emotions and wait until everything builds up and becomes too much to handle. As Jam mentioned in the video, being a virtual assistant often means facing rejection frequently-whether it's during breakfast, lunch, or dinner! That really resonated with me. I know that to succeed in this field, I need to start practicing openness and resilience early on. I’m learning to reach out for help when needed and not feel like I have to know everything or handle it all on my own. I want to adopt a “sponge” mentality-absorbing all the knowledge and experiences I can, and then letting go of the negativity and stress that don't serve me. By doing this, I believe I’ll become a more adaptable and motivated VA who can handle both the challenges and the rewards that come with this journey.

In this module, I have learned the types of VA Contracts and How to handle multiple contracts, It has to be BALANCE, with proper scheduling and should be strictly implemented. Don't just say yes to all the opportunities you must weigh it, so that it wont affect the quality of the service you provide and you still enjoy the work and life balance you need and really wanted in life.

I think for me, the characteristics I need to improve is that to be a non-stop learner and embrace change. I have to develop myself more, learn more and as I enter this world of VA, variable changes in life might happen in a constant phase which I need to be physically, mentally and emotionally ready through time.

Learn to stand out from the crowd, accept rejection but make sure to learn from it.

I will continue to watch english movies and practice and discover frequently used english slang for work.

This module taught me what VA is and the some categories under it and the difference of an employee and a freelancer, that not all virtual assistants are freelancers. Also, it make me reflect on my desire of being a virtual assistant.

Your portfolio must stand out and learn to sell yourself most creatively. Try to learn or study more to upgrade your skills.

I learned there is always room for improvement and that experience is something i already gained a long time ago but was too afraid by the idea that that experience isn't qualified in applying for the job.

In this module, I learned that it's important to ensure current contracts allow for additional clients, balance them by considering time zones and deliverables, properly schedule tasks, and strictly follow the set schedule without exceptions.

SELF-MOTIVATING is what i need to improve because sometimes i tend to shutdown and just stop everything.

Learned the three basic tools for a VA. Laptop, headset, wifi.

I learned the different schedule of a VA and how to manage productivity while having multiple clients in order to maintain high quality output.

I am going to watch a lot of English shows now and try to listen to some English podcasts to boost my English.

This module is diving me into the world of understanding the distinctions between being an employee and working as a freelancer. Super interesting stuff!
