I like this piece, but I wish Live in Paris would have been recorded after Go Too.
Rip Steve ❤
Happy Birthday Dad.❤
The Opium-eater crossed with Oscar Wilde's last days in Paris, dream-like and hallucinogenic .A Masterpiece.
Everyone on the planet should have seen this show. Amazing!
I'm 66, and watched him perform this live almost 50 years ago. Have loved his music ever since. Absolutely beautiful and moves me to tears. RIP Steve.

Just close your eyes and let your soul fly ……
There is no better guitar solo than this... anywhere.. by anyone....
Yeah , it sure is. Incredible playing. He's an unbelieveable player.
I wonder what Al was thinking
That's Pat Thrall on the solo. It brought Winwood to tears. Every one of the players knew they did something extra special
I don’t do newspapers and news anymore so I’ve just found out about Steve’s death. Saw Cockney Rebel’s first tour and Sebastian was an absolute standout and a fitting tribute to him. Another hero gone. R.I.P Steve. 💔
Wiederentdeckt und total überwältigt ❤
Thank you!
信じられないけど、この曲、日本のベストテンに入ってた ずっと聞きたかった曲

Awful awful awful dreary rubbish 😖
get a life!!!
I was about 10,11 years old when i first heard it on radio caroline
Same here
I loved this man from the moment I first heard Sebastian. A poet, a storyteller, a musical genius. I greatly appreciated the fact that he still toured, still sounded amazing, with the band or without. I am so, so sad to be writing this. Human Menagerie and Psychomodo are never far from my turntable. Thank you, Steve Harley, for so much wonderful music.
RIP Steve Harley. This song is a masterpiece, heralding the others that were to follow. We played it on repeat on many pub juke boxes in the 70s. Didn't know then that this would be as good as it would ever get!
all the people i looked up to and loved in the 70,s when i was a teenager are slowley passing away and it makes me so sad
It's a reminder of my 2nd name Sebastiaan, named afte my great grandfather Sebastiaan Hain from Skt Johann in Tirol.
Знаете ли колко хора могат да ви кажат тези неща, но не всички могат да пеят !
Lovely
Sebastian the greatest song ever written. I will miss you my friend RIP Steve.

R.I.P. Steve Harley. Thank you for this masterpiece! ✌
Was introduced to this classic track back in my teens (mid 1980s). Loved it ever since. Goodbye Steve and thanks for the wonderful music 😢
Wierd and wonderful
It’s about Oscar Wilde and his last few months living in poverty and exile in Paris. He asked people to call him Sebastian Melmoth. A beautiful song. RIP Steve.
R.I.P. Steve. Your music has accompanied me my entire life. Thank you for that.
R.I.P. Steve Harley
How is it possible that I have made it over six decades without hearing this song? Thank you David J for pointing me in this direction.
the world is poorer without him.
from 1:12 i get emotional, from the orchestra and the voice
R.I.P Steve. Thank You for beautiful songs
Reminds me of my late brother Stephen 😢he introduced me to Cockney Rebel RIP both of you xx
Rip Steve A great as gone I see him very early at the speakeasy and you knew
RIP
I think "Sebastian" is by far Cockney Rebel's best known song in Germany. I was surprised to read it did not make the charts in the UK. Beautiful song. RIP Steve Harley.
Steve RIP, a truly great artist who did not get the recognition he deserved. RIP. 😪
