The fact that women ask what they stand to get in marriage is only an indication that they have been subjugated for a long time even though in most cases, they make more contribution to the marriage and the family than the men. The will of God is often contrary to our human desires, but if we must be true Christians, then we have to deny ourselves and uphold the Lord's will. What do we even gain in trying to lord it over the women, did not scripture say the two shall be one, and is not the holy spirit given to all believers irrespective of their gender, age or social status?, why should the manifestation of the gifts and ministries then be subject to such criteria. Whether at home or especially at assembly of believers, if the functions of women are only prescribed and subjected to what men think or feel rather than on what they can contribute by God's grace, then the will of God will be undermined.

A very blessful word. This sermon by God's grace can single handedly help resolve many marriage and relational issues and confusions. What a simple but insightful teaching. I have learnt my good lessons for a fruitful marriage life in Jesus name, amen. God richly bless you Pastor Amanor (ThD)
