@kiru86 Blu -ray may have won the "hard" format war. But the real winner of the format wars was digital copies. Its alot easier to stream HD content through the interent on demand versus going out and buying a hard copy.

Xbox 360 is cool and all, and comparatively cheap, but if you configure it to match the basic features of the PS3 you will end up paying the same, if not more than you would for a ps3. And now, since Bluray won over HDDVD the Xbox 360 add on for HDDVD playback is pointless. Believe me, I was a big Xbox fangirl, but I broke down and bought the ps3 as a xmas gift to myself. It's been great so far. Online play is just fine and the internet surfing is good. Gonna install an OS and use as a computer

I just got in from Lakeside shopping center in England and I was in a GAME Store outlet and there was 5 people in a cue all trading in the 360's for a PS3. hahaha The 360, give it time will loose its hype and the same goes for the Wii.

But I don't want all the extra stuff. I got a hard drive with the console, and it came with a decent sized ethernet cable. That's all I need. I don't have to fork out money for a load of stuff I don't need.

the cooling system is shit and makes hell of a lot of noise, the ps3 dnt make noise and you can play alot more hours then the both versions of the xbox 360, ps3 better graphics, ps3 has blue ray best quality graphics for gaming and movies the xbox dnt have tht, ps3 much faster then xbox. so ther i have given a hell of a lot of info about these 2 consoles

Hey, I have something like a ps3 except with better graphics, thousands of cheaper games, ultra-high definition, faster framerates, unlimited multiplayer access, porn, and much more! IT'S CALLED A PERSONAL COMPUTER AND IT ONLY LIKE TWICE AS MUCH! The best part is that you can upgrade it whenever you want so you never have to spend so much fricken money ever again.
