Good question currently he is 110cm tall and is just ridden thredbo gravity trails on the Commencal meta 20. He has been in between the 16 and the 20 for the last few months, I know the new meta 20 ‘s seat goes a bit lower as the frame is slightly different so he could have comfortably got on it sooner if we got a new one ( we just passed down my daughters to him ) I guess it would depend on how confident your 4 year old is on their current 14 inch…. My son is pretty confident and is on tippy toes on the 20…. If you can get to a Commencal store they let you try them out.

Deathjazz made the trails and used to maintain them, he has since moved from the local area, so they maybe in a bit of disrepair, there were however always pretty raw and sketch trails to start with. I know the lander for the jump on tombstone is pretty gone but Zac was still clearing the jump. The other side where enduro your sender is built and maintained by another crew which I think are still active.

Yeah it’s a great lil off shoot to break up flow, Some people however are not keen on the new flow section as it feels a lot like ricochet.

Thanks mate having the right crew, lots of sessioning and taking our time def helps. Rouse hill is good in that it’s very progressive start on the small stuff do it regularly and step up slowly.

Hitting Rouse Hill tomorrow at field car park if you are keen meeting 6:45 at car park near fire station.

Sorry to hear that, at least my wife could still ride her bike while waiting for the new frame …. I keep a second bike for those situations , hopefully they can resolve it soon.

@@juicemooseman definitely. Not going to lie, Gravitron and DH scared me a bit. Amaroo was awesome and I hammered through it. There will be more rides in the future. I plan to go back to Ourimbah to practice on those two trails to get my lines and confidence. Keep in touch bro

@@juicemooseman yep, rode again the next day in my dads helmet, with half my face ruined, black eye, braces went through my lip. Got back at it at the same spot and didn’t hit only that drop

Everything is still running as normal, nothing is closed just some gates have been put up at one of the roads, but it doesn’t effect the mtb sections

You can access it in every direction except from mile end road side. So from the sports field near the fire station or from the opposite side like you say from the freeride area

@@juicemooseman yeah, I always go in from the freeride section because it's quicker from the metro but it's good to know that's another option 👍

Yeah we usually park at the sports oval and ride from that side :)

Yeah there are a few cool features there, I was told after I went the the far outer loop has some hairy features too, I must check them out next time I’m there

I’m not sure if you have ever had a descent head crash before but we have had plenty with our group of riders, even when well fitted, helmets moves quite significantly when in high impact situations. I’ve had friends that have done similar crashes with normal helmets and had them smash into 4-5 pieces sure it saved their life but they had to stop riding for weeks to months. I recently had a crash with a full face into my forehead and my face still got beat up. In the case of this video the rider continues to do 5 more shuttle runs and was not hurt at all. Yes we take the Oxy connector, skid Marks after blackout in that direction is up hill so not fun for a down hill trail.

Yeah awesome! Best way we do it is we leave everyone up the top with bikes and drivers park on cars at the bottom (deep creek reserve) and drive one car back up so most of the ride is downhill.

Yeah they are short but good fun! Make sure you check out the two look outs which are unreal , the second look out is awesome too it’s located at the end of lyrebird go up the small fire road in front of you (small hill). It’s also amazing

If you park in front of the Kamaroi Rudolf Steiner School in Belrose and cross the main road you will find a single track leading in. It is the entrance to blackout and twin peaks.
