Building Beloved Community - A Peacebuilding and Nonviolence Workshop
Pitt's Center on Race and Social Problems and Frederick Honors College in collaboration with the Alliance for Humanitarian Initiatives, Nonviolence, and Spiritual Advancement (AHINSA) hosted an engaging and transformative workshop focused on the principles and practices of peacebuilding and nonviolence. This interactive event provided valuable tools and insights to help participants foster peace and positive change in their surroundings.
Through thought-provoking discussions and hands-on activities, participants explored the power of nonviolent engagement and the role it plays in creating a beloved community.

At the end of July, around 80 people participated in the RECI Facilitators Academy. This week-long immersive learning experience prepared participants to become certified facilitators of RECI’s Structured Cognitive Behavioral Training (SCBT) framework for racial equity consciousness development.     Affirmative action at college level is too late. To achieve black wealth, you need early childhood intervention and family planning. College affirmative action only perpetuates black poverty and slavery.
