Question I have an ash that is completely stripped and been like that for awhile. But it is growing from the bottom new sprouts up. They are a several feet high now. Is this new growth meaning it is alive? If so, my plan is to cut down the trunk as much as possible as it's dead and try to keep new growth.

I would love to round up some seeds from KS trees to send to somewhere. EAB has marched through NE KS and is now invading the SE parts of the state where I live at. It's marching through SW MO too.

I bought a baby black walnut tree this year, because I LOVE black walmuts trees and their majestic beauty and amazing qualities. My baby is not doing good, the leaves are turning brown and dying. I have tried copper and neem, nothing seems to be helping. To be clear its a two year old plant. Everything was fine then the deer ate many of the leaves and then all of a sudden the grow back leaves were turning brown. I need help. I need to save my tree. My parents have a horse farm we used 5 year old manure for the tree with great drainage (rocks and sand) I love my tree please help. Thank you

Best of luck keeping this problem out of your State and elsewhere. We have a lot of Black Walnut trees in Denver, CO. For a good example of what similar infestation has brought just look to Florida and Citrus Canker disease and now Citrus Greening.

Can you guys help me diagnose the mite I have hurting my avocado trees and other fruit trees? It’s translucent, has a couple of dark spots and is small enough to see with naked eye but you can’t see details very well unless you use a magnifying glass etc. it seems to be a borer and wood/bark/cambium layer eater. It has made so much damage to my avocado trees with lines/tunnels I think they are and small holes. I know it’s the mites 100% cos I have them inside on my avocado seedlings which are all infested cos I had them all near each other.

I'm not saying you should move firewood, but as with everything, there must be a cost/ benefit analysis done. Are the regulations (or potential damage done) so burdensome on citizens that they outweigh the cost of not moving firewood (or thousands of other regulations and laws that micro-manage every aspect of our lives). Because it is government bureaucrats being paid (conflict of interest, or one sided) there is no analysis done, let alone debate or input from citizens who will have to bear the cost and burden at least twice. Can human beings or the government really control the entire state or nation, to prevent invasive species from entering certain areas and causing damage? Lastly, taxpayers have to bear the financial expense or burden for agencies like the California Department of Agriculture (1/3 of a $Billion a year).

These trees are not dying from pests or any other tree disease . They are being poisoned by the weather modification program that has been going on for years and years. We are being lied to. God help us.

Great Video, only problem ending credits, no "Beatles were harmed in the filming". That was wrong, and you loose credibility for that mistake. Video talks about eradicating them and shows trees 'their homes' going down, and being put in a wood chipper. For honesty sake just remove that part. Besides that a great video, and scary. We will be looking out for these Beatles.
