Thank you for this amazing presentation. I tried to use project for the web for existing projects with that are in the desk top version but there appears to be no method of importing the data. It would also be useful to be able to import from excel. Can you please advise if it can be done.

Hi there! Yes, you could use the Project Online to create a master project of multiple projects that are managed individually in Project for the Web. Any date changes made in the master project would not be sent to Project for the Web. If you need to use master projects in Project Online, we recommend using Project Pro Desktop and then using the Project Online web planner for individual sub-projects. OnePlan also allows for cross-project dependencies. You can request more info on use cases and pricing by emailing us at contact@oneplan.ai 🙂
5:58 does this stack ranking action reflect back into the original DevOps backlog so team can see it in this order on their backlog and board?
Hi there, this could be done with a little configuration. You would need to map a field from OnePlan to DevOps. Then in DevOps, you could sort on that item. The sorting in the two products by default is separate so you can have your portfolio order, which may differ from your backlog order. Let us know if that answers your question!

Thanks for the nice overview of capabilities. What would really help is an example on a smaller scale, basically walking through the process of assigning or building a work plan for an idea, adding the resources to it and then optimizing it to not over allocate when viewed against a hand full (not dozens or hundreds) of other projects.

"Notes" isn't an available column, so "Add Detail" just appears to add a blank row. The only added Resources are the internal employees, but not the external contractors. Was hoping to see a way to add in a Finance Detail that allowed the ability to define a new cost category.

In order for OnePlan to link to the Project Pro file, does it need to be on SharePoint or OneDrive?
You do not have to store the Project file in SharePoint or OneDrive to publish. But if you want to store the file in a centralized location in the cloud we do use Microsoft Teams/SharePoint

No, it's a 3rd party app. Basically, Microsoft is giving the teaching to other companies. Those companies have developped products to fill in the void of Microsoft. The channel is actually called OnePlan, a seperate add-on.

Can you connect information from both types of Project programm (web and desktop)?
Yes, you can connect Project Desktop and Project for the web using OnePlan. You can also connect Planner, Azure DevOps and Jira out of the box as well.

More than 80% Azure DevOps developers use CATLIGHT ( download: tfs-alerts.com ).. Catlight can connect to multiple VisualStudio accounts. You can use different credentials for each account, if needed. You don’t need to tell us your password. App will be authorized using the Microsoft account that is currently signed in. Catlight will have limited access to your project - only to builds and work items, but not to the source code.
