As a former linesman myself and also the guy who dogged the tower crane on the 55 storey building in the background there when it was under construction I enjoyed this immensely. Normally windy AF there! Bravo!!! 🙌

AusNet executive's nightmare would be seeing that linesman walk purposefully towards him. Thinks: "If that bloke asks me for a pay rise - what am I going to say? (apart from "Sure - immediately"). I imagine the queue of people willing and qualified to do this job would be non-existent. As for the pilot: Wow - just bloody wow! What a team !

I wondered why you tethered onto the cable when you were already belayed to the chopper. When I saw it detached under load I understood it wasn't a belay, but what is it? Earth strap? (Except that the cable would be insulated from the ground...)
