@@Truephoria Yugiohitis is rampant on Master duel, but luckily most cards are self explanatory on Pocket TCG. This deck is pretty good, I’d recommend two Dittos and a combination of two energy types like psychic, fire, electric or water. 👍

Oh trust me, I know, especially with how crazy Yu-Gi-Oh's card effects are now. It was the way Ditto's attack was worded that confused me. You need not only the correct type (from what others are saying), but also the OPPOSING pokemon needs to have all the energy needed for their attack for Ditto's ability to work(also what others are saying). They definitely could have worded it better, but now that I know, it does make sense. I'll definitely try your recommendation!

@@dubzNA Yeah, but I thought it meant Ditto needed the EXACT AMOUNT of energy of the opposing pokemon's attack. I also didn't realize that it meant the OTHER pokemon needed THEIR energy FIRST. I thought I could just use it whenever I put enough energy according to how much THEIR attack cost. Like what happened in the video. The wording of the card should have said "If THE OPPONENT'S pokemon doesn't have the necessary Energy to use that attack, this attack does nothing." It does not.

@@dubzNA ALSO, some people are saying you need the CORRECT TYPE of energy on top of everything. That's what I said after the incident happened. So either I was half right, or they are wrong. I'm going to have to test him out again to find out what is what.

@@Truephoria needing the specific energy type that is placed on the opposing pokemon doesn't make much sense because you aren't allowed to have just any number of types of energy in your deck unless you have a pokemon from each typing in your deck which is impractical plus you never know what kind of deck you are matched up against so there is no way to plan for it

This is so wrong, why would you post this when you have no clue what you're talking about? Ditto needs one energy of any color to use his move "Copy Anything" ditto then needs the exact energy as the move he is copying, amount and type for the copied move to go off successfully. The amount of energy on the pokemon you are copying has absolutely nothing to do with it. You can't swap him in with one energy on him and use crimson storm just because the zard you are copying from has the energy, that would be op af. Ditto is probably the worst card in the game because of this since you can only put three energy types in your deck, if you don't have access to the energy type needed he is completely useless.

If you're referring to the Ditto fumble, I said the same thing to another guy, it reads: "If THIS Pokemon doesn't have the necessary Energy to use that attack, this attack does nothing." I assumed when it said "This Pokemon" it was referring to Ditto! Not only that, since he is colorless, I thought that I could use any energy and I had to match the amount of energy of the other pokemon LOL. You're right! Just thought I'd test it to see how good Lapras really is. He has his pros and cons, but having him alongside Starmie isn't so great. Maybe with Frosmoth or some other build could work way better, but that 3 retreat cost is brutal!
