Exploring Oslo, Norway - 13 things we did in Oslo.
We visited beautiful Oslo, Norway in June 2024. We stayed for 5 nights at the Hotel Thon Storo - an excellent hotel.
I was amazed by how wonderful Oslo is - I would definitely like to return.

We spent a weekend in Llandudno, North Wales in late May 2024. We walked up and around the Great Orme and walked along the coast to the nearby town of Conwy. Our walk from Chirk to Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, North Wales. Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is a world heritage site. it is the highest canal aqueduct in the World. We started at Chirk Bank and walked along the Llangollen Canal. On our way, we crossed Chirk Aqueduct, walked through Chirk Canal Tunnel and Whitehouse Tunnel. My walk on The Long Mynd, Shropshire, England, summer 2023. I did a variation of the Burway loop. I began the walk on Burway road in the town of Church Stretton, walking through Carding Mill Valley, up the steep Mott's Road and on to the highest point on the Long Mynd, Pole Bank. I returned to Church Stretton via the Burway.

I went Bank Holiday weekend for the first time and will definitely go again when its quieter, as the tram was too busy.

I think you will find that the Mersey tunnel s which are underwater tunnels were built way before Conway tunnel. The Queensway tunnel was built in 1934 and the Kingsway tunnel in 1971 .
Thanks for this correction - apologies, I have unfortunately missed out the key word "tube" in my sentence in the video. It should say Conway tunnel was the first underwater tube road tunnel in Britain. I'll put a note in the description.

I lived and worked in and around Ludlow for thirty years. I moved to the Berkshire area in 2014, but I do miss walking around the shops and visiting the market.
