Just a test to see how well this position works. It is mounted to the handgrip and stabilized by the mirror on my Scram 411.

Could you talk about that windscreen? Did you put it on? Or did you find the bike that way? (I've never seen a Scram 411 with a screen and am curious.) Nice review, thanks. Good to see how the bike handles at +/- 70mph.
Over all how do you like the ryker ???
@@kellywilson8440 Good takes a few ks to get used to it every time I go out I come home with a big smile on my face. Pleased I purchased however I think I will now take a Spyder for a test drive to be sure I made right choice
5years on mine, never a problem with excessive vibration. 1st gear for a corner? you're kidding. 3rd gear for the slowest bend. This thing zings but never a problem with mirrors but who's looking in mirrors @ 140+? 1st is good for steep upgrades but on the flat you'll change up within 10 yards. Take off in 2nd no prob.
Just bought a new ‘24 model. I’ve ridden for 40+ years on everything from a Marauder 250 to a Honda ST1300: dirt bikes, cruisers, sport, and touring. At this stage of my life I want something small, easy to maintain, and can get me onto county and fire roads to go camping. My Mach 2 canyon carving, hair on fire days are over. I’m fine with slow and light to pick up if I go down on gravel roads. I looked at everything in this size and price range, while also considering local dealer servicing. The 300 was the best choice for me at 61 yrs old. It’s not a bike for everyone but it’s good for me.
Likening that bike more and more ! Just wonder if can do freeways ok .keep up😊
I think it would be able to go highway speeds. Might be a little buzzy though.
I don't think the front end wanted to come up
I completely agree with all of your points. Despite being 57 years old and never having ridden a motorcycle or scooter before, I purchased my spider in March 2023 and had the opportunity to ride it this summer. I have always had a desire to ride but never had the chance to learn until now, and I absolutely love it.
You got to keep it 4000 revs and under to run it in to get the best out of the engine for 1000 klm s ,iv now done 100s of klm of dirt roads once I run it in good bike ,jimmy Australia no regrets
Nice drone footage. Sound?
My DJI mini 3 doesn't have sound. I would have to sub it in after.
I got lucky and was able to snag a 2013 which came with all kinds of goodies, with the cherry on top McCruise cruise control! It is my first ADV, and I'm glad I chose to try something different! They're great bikes!
I will say the 360 is more work to edit and publish. The Sena 10c Evo helmet camera is the easiest to work with.
I have been looking at different action cams this past year and haven’t decided yet. It’s down to the action 4 or 5 or a 360 cam for my motorcycle videos. This video really shows the difference and advantages of a 360 action camera. Thanks Keith.
Great tide😊
Very cool
Did you view the video on a phone so you could look around in 360?
Thanks for sharing this video, nothing like the beautiful fall colors this time of year and finding some open road with no traffic to take in the spectacular views. Thanks again Keith, Take care.
I wish I would've driven up to the park! I spent the night at Papa Murph's many moons ago. Great ride and great colors!
Nice ride through starved rock. I was just about to film up there myself until I caught bad cold last week. Thanks for the video and bringing us along. I hope you stopped for lunch at the outdoor lodge as well. Take care, Subscribed.
We always stop at Jamie's Outpost when we are there
@@keithert I passed The outpost countless times and never dropped in lots of bikes in the lot! I will next ride.
@@Michael-st1hlI usually get a sandwich they call the homewrecker. It's a double hot dog wrapped in bacon and covered in gravy. This time I got an 8 inch across breaded pork tenderloin. I also got a nice pair of cold weather gauntlet gloves for $20.00. I've only been there during the week when there's hardly anyone there. But I do hear it gets busy on the weekend.
@@keithert Wow those meals sound dangerous! I will have to order up a nice steak if they have one. Thanks for the information I will definitely have to drop in there next time I go to starved rock. The food is very limited at the starved rock open air cafe at the main lodge. Riding season is coming to an end soon so I hope I can make time to get there before the temperatures drop. Take Care!
@@Michael-st1hl Last year I went on Nov 16.
The fall colors are amazing!
Thanks for the video . The roads look better there than we got in NZ. I just purchased a Ryker rally at the age of 71 just trying to get used to the ride after 41 years away from motorcycles
I have the same bike. After a lot of reading I was 50/50 on actually lubing a chain. I finally decided to NOT oil the chain. The chain on the bike IS sealed so all the lube actually helps is the outside of the chain rollers rubbing on the sprocket teeth. Since I do not ride in the rain, rust is not that big of an issue. So I currently have 5k miles on my bike and the chain has no excess stretching and all the sprocket teeth are fine.
I also have a Royal Enfield interceptor. I have a lubed the chain every 400 miles or so with maxima. I currently have 12,000 mi on the original chain and sprockets.
Trip with passenger. Has it enough power?
I own one, never had a passenger on it, you could take one but you'd have to go at a leisurely pace.
Country living Hampshire Illinois farmers for Trump2024
It'll do about 10 miles per hour with three people. With only my son it has gone 16 mph.
Must be tough pushing 3 people in a 12' Vhull with the 6 hp. Just chugging along eh! Cheers! 🚤🎣😊
Wonderful bike. I've had my 1970 R60/5 for 53 years. It's just like brand new. Today, August 23,2024, I installed an electronic ignition from EME, and the bike runs better than ever. You would love it! The installation is simple. Here's a guy on UA-cam with a nice how-to video if you are interested. === ua-cam.com/video/j4MDjTVoBzI/v-deo.htmlsi=DA1YcjmDf3CvzTqs
What panniers are those please.
They look like the standard Royal Enfield panniers, but painted gloss black.
Bye Ryan--have a safe trip! (He did!!)
So glad you put this on tonight!
Absolutely beautiful
Excellent filming!
I loved crossing those bridges on road trips as a child! This video takes me back to some of those road trips as this appears to be an older bridge!

Nice; thank you!! Where are you riding this?
The drone footage is great!
That's really great
Can't you make it just follow you?
Move your mic setup or lose some weight... All I hear is heavy breathing
Very smooth for off road!
Nice day for a ride!

Fantastic machines, i bought a Ryker rallye last year and traded that into a Spyder F3-s for 1,5 month ago. Best I ever done! A manta green 2023 brand new. Joined a Facebook community and we go for a coffee or a snack around the area.

Beautiful land. Not sure I'd like to take that drive on a rainy day. So glad it was a perfect day for your channel subscribers.
That is badass bike. Power for days
Love those curvy toads!
