As many of you know, I live in the area in East Tennessee affected by the hurricane. Helene brought so much rain to the area that flooding was significant. I did not have as much damage as many others, and I am okay. With that said, I felt like things I thought were in my area of control were suddenly outside of it. I needed to organize my house to get some of the perceived level of control back. It also helped me to calm down and focus on something that I could influence.
