@@melindabray7659 I haven't taken it apart yet. Mine has been making a heck of a lot of noise when using it with the brush engaged. It seems they don't want us getting in there to fix it. It still picks up great and no major hair problems around the brush. But I really need to do something about that clattering. I hope you can figure it out. I'll be putting in more effort on it soon.

Regrettably it doesn't change colors on this particular model. You can only brighten or dim the blue LED's. You can also make the LED's do affects like breath faster or slower or become solid. I didn't use the keyboard hotkeys for that, instead I downloaded the SteelSeries software which can be found online.

@@DeepSouthTechie yeah I’m trying to find a VHS cleaner for my Magnavox, DVD, VHS player and recorder, but problem is after looking at all the reviews most the aftermarket per se Chinese made cleaners are like playing Russian roulette. I’d hate to spend 10 bucks on a cleaner for it to destroy this one of a kind VHS to DVD recorder because this thing was like over $800. New.

@@StansAuto83 I sure wouldn't try the one I reviewed here. It destroyed the heads on mine and I haven't had any luck on getting a replacement. I bought another VCR on eBay and it was severely damaged in shipping. I just put it on the back burner after that. Problem is the VHS tapes I was trying to digitize isn't getting any younger.

Yeah I know right?, lol. I believe they have an RGB version now for around $25 on Amazon (50% Off). It's called the Steelseries Apex 3 RGB. It doesn't have individual key lighting but has 10 Zone's of lighting. For the price I believe it's a pretty decent deal.

@@eminhx Yeah the blue doesn't look too bad. Matches my blue led fans. Gonna change all that one day but I'm in no hurry.

I just decided to hand clean it myself again. Not sure if it was the head cleaner but after using it I'm pretty sure the vcr heads got damaged. I bought another vcr through ebay but it got completely crushed in transit. So I went ahead and dubbed a few of the tapes the best I could with the old one. Even though they aren't great I managed to salvage some video out of it. I put the project on the back burner after that with plans to find a better vcr in the future. I'm sorry I couldn't be more help.

Wow that was a lot cheaper than what I paid for mine. Had I known that LS15 was another part number it probably would have pointed me in another much cheaper direction. The socket I bought along with all the other parts have served me well though and are still working fine. It would have made the job easier without having to cut and crimp.

@@DeepSouthTechie Yep. Super easy once I realized you could disassemble the sockets. The crimped metal terminals from your wire harness are the only original parts retained… no plastic. You mentioned elsewhere that your insert was melted but you get those with your replacement sockets too. No reason to mix and match like I did! :)

For some reason UA-cam is just now showing me your comment. Yeah A Bluetooth mic is all I had for the longest time. I haven't had the chance to try this mic out a whole lot but so far I really like it.

Walmart for some reason chooses only to sell the Series S in store (At least around here) So it really shocked me to see this. They've had them in stock only a couple of times but it's pretty rare.

The Apex 100 only comes with blue lighting. It has a few basic choices of effects as well. you can also turn lighting on or off if you choose. Be forewarned though that this is not a quiet keyboard and the keys are very touchy. It has served me well so far though.

Thank you for the compliment on the video. It's nice to know they're others like me who are still using the Haswell system. I've been checking out the 1650 for my wife who is running on Haswell herself. Like you said the 1650 is ideal for the i5 and a very competent card.

That's real good news. Maybe they'll be available at least through the holidays and maybe longer. I have the Series S but I've been wanting to pick up the X for awhile now. This will make it even more tempting, lol. Thanks for the Info David.

It's a pain but I rinse it out and spray clean water through the spray tip after use. I haven't used it but a couple of times though. The main problem I have is it seems to use an excessive amount of weed killer, but that could be due to the setting I have It on. I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. I'm hoping mine lasts a while yet.

It is decently loud but not the loudest I've ever heard. It isn't something you'd want to use in a shared home office probably. It's been a good keyboard so far though and hasn't let me down. One other thing that may be a benefit or a PITA though depending on the user, but the keys are very touchy and register the key press immediately. Hope this has helped you decide.

My Walmart only got them in twice and it was only a couple of them each time. I guess Sony changed their minds or they ended up in the hands of scalpers. I've been meaning to research it and make a follow up video but haven't had the chance.

I don't blame you for not wanting to buy from scalpers, I never have and never will. As for Walmart, I don't know why they won't stock the Series X in the stores they seem to keep restocking the Series S. I have seen them pop up online a few times lately at the regular price, but they do sell out quick.

I'm sorry XxSurferNoisexX I recorded this video a few weeks ago but had a problem getting the editing done and getting it uploaded until last night. My wife claimed the Fortnite skin and all that when we set up the Xbox. If it had been me I would have been happy to let you get it, I'm not really into Fortnite. I report on both the Xbox and PlayStation, it's just I really haven't seen Sony put anything in the stores and the only thing I've seen online is scalpers asking two to three times the normal price for consoles.
