Battery terminals changed on H2 Hummer

H2 has been having trouble starting, sometimes locking the key into the ignition. I would have to open the hood and tighten the terminal screws, but say that the old terminals were softening, and weak connections. Changed these today to new brass terminal fittings, problem solved.

      Yes, I think it is best for pocket carry sizes, but it could work for that if you don't mind the barrel sticking out the bottom somewhat. I'll measure the Glock that I used in this video for size comparisons.

    LOVE mine....carry a sig sauer 365 XL specter and it is perfect so far....i also ride a motorcycle so it is perfect when riding..i just move the belt around and can go from appendix carry to 3 o'clock..

    Belly band holster can be moved around different locations and up or down on body And they have more pockets usually. Looks like made with high quality fabric.

    doesn't the H2 have a drain petcock to drain radidator? I crawled under there today didn't see much. was wondering if the skid plate has to be removed to drain radiator?

      I don't think so, at the time, it was the easiest way I could do it. I sold my H2, but miss it.

      I believe so, I'm 6'1, and it's full range for me. Users may need to make adjustments, and I hear that they have come up with a new leg press part, so it may be even better now.

      Agree, in this case, I was too far away from the wall with a dead battery, it worked, but probably best to eliminate the cords.

    I change my 2005 Hummer H2 transmission fluid with out removing or loosing exhaust. You just have to maneuver the trans pan in a certain way to clear it and it comes out.

      @@SIDVENOM It was my daily driver for about 5 years, I didn't want to keep doing that and gas prices and all. It's mammoth size, so thinking about the cost of new tires, upkeep, etc., I decided to let it go. I bought a Honda Ridgeline for my daily driving, an all-purpose type vehicle, also have other vehicles to help me from getting bored. Of course, I wish I still had the H2, but storage and all, oh well.

    Seen something say that the machine itself weighs 500lbs. Looks well built, but can't see the machine itself weighing that much without weight on it

      I believe it holds up to 500 lbs total, with weights on it, body weight, etc. It isn't light, but can be moved around fairly easily without weights on it, I kinda spin it around as needed, or can take it apart, if necessary too. It's sturdy, I continue to enjoy it weekly, and have had no particular problems with it structurally.

      They are both fun. Personal preference is barbell benchpress (so may go with Powertec rack) * But this REALLY looks nice. Difference in weight lifted , for me, is approx. 30kg. Iso Bench = 137.5 kg or 303 lb. Barbell Bench = 105 kg or 231 lb. For awhile I was sure I would get an iso bench… … safety, no spotter needed, etc. (But spotter arms on rack takes care of that.) The hard bit with iso is the starting position. Once you get the weight up, you’re good to go. * Panatta, an Italian brand, has an iso bench that starts higher and a lever mech that releases for full range. (Probably $$$) 😊

      The acessory leg press is fairly heavy, somewhat difficult to move around, but one person can do it. 100lbs or so, I'm guessing.

      @@tommasorito2928 The leg press can hold up to 400 lbs I believe, so that should be more than enough weight for most lifters' needs. If you need a leg press, this works pretty well, I keep my accessory hooked in all the time, I avoid taking it on and off. Does this help?

    I just had to charge my battery for the same reason. I bought an H-D trickle charger, and I had trouble finding the pigtail too.

      How long did your battery last, 1-2 years? I've been riding more often, so not relying on the trickle too much, but will use it if sitting for more than a week or two. Take care!

      @@julzzcan9490 - I bought the bike towards the end of 2021 and it still seems to be okay. I'm going to try keeping it on the trickle charger and see what I can get out of it. I've read that Lithium Batteries don't discharge like lead-acid batteries. So eventually I'll have to bite the bullet and pay the $250 it costs to buy one. Or maybe by the time I need one, the price will have come down.

      I've never had it tested, but have used it for over a year on different vehicles. The oil has never been overly dirty or had any indication of breakdown. And I've never come close to their 25k mile range that the oil can last.

    I always wanted the Fat Bob since I started riding three years ago. Then when the time came, I bought a ‘21 Low Rider S 🤷🏻‍♂️. It’s a great bike, and I got a great deal on it. I immediately put cobras on mine as well, and they sound fantastic! I have thought about changing them a couple of times, but then I listen to them and think, Why?

    Looks solid. Another nice thing about dip handles being adjustable is you can put feet on a chair and do chins on there. Easier setup than bands.

      @@solslastcannula5665 you need to find the perfect angle on the bench and once you have, it's an amazing piece of equipment, you can also use 12inch plyo boxes to get the perfect angle on the flat bench, I've got the older model and it's one of the best units I've ever used

    What grease did you use on the machine thanks for the video looking into getting this. I have a bad back so I need to use machine now.

      My friend, yes I've used litium grease and silicone, any good brand. I even used good synthetic motor grease when I put it together, used it like bearing grease in any parts I thought would need lubrication long-term. Hope this helps!
