I think Next Semester was ground breaking for TØP. It was so different from anything they've ever done and I think it's one of their best produced songs with the structure that everybody loved with Ode to Sleep, while still introducing so many new and unique sounds

I will fight the entire clique about RAB Trees. I unironically like it better than the Vessel version (if you're not counting the live one). The official Vessel version has always felt like it's missing something, and the RAB version, despite the robotic voice, adds that and adds more emotion and rawness to the song in my opinion. RAB Trees is one of my absolute favorite songs, even though there's probably not one person who agrees with me.

The new album dropped, and it's amazing, please react to it. Also loved the video.

Risk is genuinely one of my top clancy songs. it’s one of the few on the album that is heavy into a rock kinda sound. i love the subtle details in the backing tracks like the “stopping me, fight me” loop in the middle of the song. i also noticed after that there is a VERY quite backup vocal that says “don’t even try to-“ leading into the front vocals“stop me” and it occurs a few times to the end of the song and that little touch did it for me. i think the music video also really helped me appreciate the song for some reason. tyler mentioned levels with the music video and i can’t get that out of my mind. it’s such an ear wormy song for me. only big complaint is i wish the end of the song didn’t end the way it does. it goes into the chorus “… even if they say, just keep your plans i hope that you never have to drop” and there’s a huge build up into what sounds like the chorus yet again but it dies “… don’t have to drop (here is get soft) anything for me”. i wish it had an intense chorus just one more time and then have the final line so it’s a cycle of two intense chorus lines then the final drop off

Dude I was so hyped that I jumped out of my chair when Taxi Cab was #1. My favorite song not just from TØP, but of all time. The buildup of every “next song” not being Taxi Cab until it was #1 got me more and more excited the entire time. W music taste. Side note: Your videography skills are good. Keep honing them; you can make some great art.

Nice video (my fav is forest, lovely, glowing eyes, ruby and basically all there songs) I just like RAB mainly because of nostalgia but I still love RAB

I LOVE the Clancy album, the more i listen to it the more I love it, maybe even more than Trench, I just cannot get Overcompensate, Next Semester, and Paladin Strait out of my head.
