Welcome to Healing Garden. NAGALAND
'Butler, wrote about the "great number of tea trees... growing luxuriantly in the jungle, some twelve to fourteen feet high." Such ubiguity of tea not withstanding, Major Butler "did not discover that the Nagahs ever drink tea", instead preferring large quantities of rice-beer.' So sir do u miss rice beer? 😃

Congratulation sister 👏🎈 Don't worry for the people out there. We have many similarities with the Vietnamese. I bet they'll like you 😊😊 and love you more when they hear our history...😊
Very interesting take on history, casual but interesting. Only thing about being so casual is that you tend to miss the nuiances of the detail which transforms the narrative. E.Gates writes that the Dimasa King was the one who invited the British since Manipuri King was also taking refuge in Cachar as they had been invaded by the Burmese as well and not the Ahoms because they were killed off at the time. After which Ahom lineage actually died. What you don't realise about the geographical demarcation of Nagaland and Arunachal is that a part of it did belong to the Ahom Kingdom since the portion in today's Assam is only the South Western Part of the Ahom Kingdom who's main capital was Mongmow in Northern Burma. Western Part of Arunachal was literally Southern Tibet, hence the Bhutia/Tibetan people in Arunachal and Apatani, Nishi etc in the East. Further East you get the Changlangs, Tsingpos, and so-called Nagas. Even in Nagaland, the Eastern Nagas were more influenced by the Tsingpo's of Northern Burma and that is who they call their relatives. The Tsingpo's in Assam are the same group of people who settled in Assam after the Burmese war and were a part of the invasion. SO only Nagaland Nagas are the actual one's who were therefore free and ungoverned people. Manipur Nagas and Arunachal Nagas if at all they are Nagas, were always a part of a greater society governed by other culture. And lastly, it may be embrassing today to be considered uncivil back in those days but when your ancestry is literally one of Head-hunting it is not nearly insulting to regard such culture as premitive. Take for instance, East Asia considers South East Asian as Jungle Asian despite being far civil than Nagas. Therefore, my point. And when it comes to Mizoram, it was Lushai hills back then. They were always a part of the Arakan/Rangkhain/Chin-Kuki state which inclined more towards Burma.
Apfü! My dad also born in 1949 but unfortunately he expired in 2021. Tracing back our roots to Khonoma, we belonged to Rürhia clan. Our ancestor Mezüdu migrated from Khonoma to almost 7 century old Chiechama and was the first man to settle in our village. I have developed this habit of listening over reading books and we long more of histories from you. Please upload daily 😊

Sir. I really like your English the way you speak and also ur having vast knowledge about the world you will be the guiding star of nagas may GOD grant you long life to bring peace in our land.
To be so casual about history and claim that it refers to Nagas when Nagas in terminology never existed is unwise. There are many tribes like the present-day Nagas in the Southern China region but they are all independent tribes. Today's Arunachali tribes which are considered as Nagas by some are also migrants to the region during the Burmese occupation of present-day Northern Assam. Quoting Hyun Tsang, that he made a statement that he referred to the East of the then Assam known as Kamarupa as people similar to the Chinese "Han" ethnic group would also be debatable since Nagas are not similar to Han Chinese, also the population of Nagas in 1872 census was merely 3000 in total, so we can imagine what the number would be like in the 3rd century nearly 1500 years back. If at all Hyun Tsang reference was taken literally, it is more sensible to apply it to the Burmese region and communities south of south China which always had a larger population and we have known that they influenced the Eastern Nagas. So such claims may be bogus as even within Naga tribes many had hardly met each other as mentioned by the professor himself.
Sir, actually i don't much about you however your look is like foreign and also your pronunciation also very good we really appreciate you GOD bless you grant you long life to lead our nation.

Thank you sir❤
Next episode please 🙏
Thank you so much uncle for this historical knowledge. Looking forward to hearing more from you!
So insightful Prof. Dr. Thank you so much
More elders like Dr. Visier Sanyu should come up defining who are Nagas and who are not. Many Nagas from Nagaland are very confused as they even consider non Nagas as Nagas (the kukis) which is unacceptable. Naga elders should clear their doubts or else this will be a very serious concern and identity crisis for our future generations.
Soo pretty 🙊
