i'm sorry but that's so dumb
No need to be sorry. I just decided to take what I consider was trash to the dump. This one did not work for me at all other printer I have before work well and the ones I have now work fine.
No issues with mine, you might have got a bad batch. Still using mine and still working.
Probably but to the point that there was no fix?
No issues with mine, you might have got a bad batch. Still using mine and still working.
Glad works for you this one work for a couple prints then to calibrate all again and again. Just got tired.
i have had a k1 max for a couple weeks now, my first printer and i put at least 40 prints on it 2 full rolls without a single hicup. and prints come out the nicest i have ever seen and its fast. i love this thing. i use bambu studio to slice tho i dont like crealitys software.
I think you got a unicorn!
@AlivePixelCreates idk but i couldn't be happier with it. I would have gladly bought yours for a couple hundred. That hurt to watch a lil.
@@andrewscotti1136 thank you man. I have a new build plate and a couple other stuff
Wow! So grateful to have found you. Just got my F1 and have my first set of jewelry blanks on the way. Thank you for such a comprehensive overview - will be ordering jigs for sure!
I am so glad you found it helpful! #firethelaser
My first 3D printer was a Makebot.... that I found in the dumpster and it worked great for 6 years
You're lucky, it took me less than 6 months to get frustrated enough to throw mine out.
@AlivePixelCreates oh man that's a difficult thing. I have two of the K1 Max and they work great. I just had to dial in my setting and make sure I warmed my build plate for at least 10 minutes for the bed to stop flexing and all is good
@@tuskegee87 I did that and I change the plate instill have one new if you wanted let me know find me on Facebook
@@AlivePixelCreates oh okay. I hate that it didn't work for you. Same name on Facebook?
Daniel Gonzales same face on profile tho lol
Love your videos, I have a 60watt mopa. I noticed you also have a mopa. Have you ever done this test with it? Also love your jigs. Siga adelante !!
Yes and it was a lot easier hahaha My settings on the mopa remove fine on all colors I don't have them at hand but I order more pens to test all the lasers I have. Thank you for watching and for your support.
Im having the exact same experience. If I could go back, i would buy anything but creality
It was so frustrated that I didn't want anyone to have the problems and decided that throwing it was better
The K1 Max is worthless without the community helper script. If you have one of the first generation units you'll need a new extruder, the original ones suck lol. My K1 Max works pretty well now for PLA and PETG, but I don't use it for anything else. It's just too unreliable.
I did change for the very new unicorn and a lot of upgrades from swiss team and from creality but after some prints again weeks of down time.
I have the flash for adventure 5M and now I’m gonna order the Neptune pro for the next is gonna be Bambu
Yeah can't believe how bad this printer was tho
@ haha I can imagine
I love my k1 max. I'm very curious as to what the issue is on your side if the world. Not as good as my prusaxl, but a great printer
I guess I got a potato. Lol
I've had my k1 max for a year. Haven't had a single problem with it. I don't have to tinker or fiddle I just send prints to it and go about my business. Sorry you had a bad experience sounds like you got a bad machine.
Glad it worked for you. I have so many issues that I got tired.
I managed to win a K1 Max, send it back 3 times for repairs. The 3rd time I got a new printer and sold it within 5 days. In that 5 days it clogged 3 times. Warpped prints and all it was horrific, now just waiting on delivery of my new Bambu printer. I will truly never purchase a Creality printer, and what i'm seeing so far on the K2plus. I would stay away.
Yes agreed. I just decided to trash it and not pass this frustration to anyone
maybe user error
I know that feel. You could have dontated it, but think of the curse that you would be bestowing on someone. I think u did the right thing. Hopefully it sends a good message as well.
Yeah that can be some bad karma lol better trash it.
Thanks for posting the settings.
No problem! Let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you sir I just ordered me the fan the unit is not here yet but soon and will change out and let you know how it works. But sounds like well worth the upgrade.
Let me know how it goes. I think you'll be happy with it.
@@AlivePixelCreates I got the unit and replaced it. Have not tested it but was impressed by the price and quality. Easy to put in. I also upgraded to the magnetic set up with the 4" adapter in my vent system. Judging from your excellent video should be great. I also have a 6" infinty fan down stream venting outside. Appreciate all you do Glen in Alaska. Hope your move went well as I am behind about a year! Looks like everything I got now is updated to the XTool family still got my 2 Atezr's but I guess they since went out of business. Lucky I am
They don’t appear to ship to the uk . I place an order but it kept taking me back to the shipping address saying not valid I can only think it because it out of the states
Shoot them a message at sales@makerflo.com and they can help you with that! They do ship internationally ☺️
Would you be able to show how you do the measuring and alignment? I’m trying to do a shot glass with my M1 and having the hardest time
Find me on Facebook and messages me
Do you how to adjust the red dot to align with the laser beam, mine is off? Thanks
Find me on Facebook in the afternoon to help you.
My Reno 45 Pro red dot does not align with the laser point on the wood how do I fix this? Thanks
What you can use is red dot offset on lightburn.
Mind sharing ur settings for these?
Vary on colors red and blue are the hardest to get perfect but running a second pass on that works fine. IR 100% 100mm/s 200 lines one to two passes depending the color
Thank you for this. I have boughten several of your jigs, your lens removal reminder cover and others but I have yet to open my F1. This week because of you! I now have the courage. I heard of you through Mike Smerka on a post on FB. I am subscribed and I thumbs up all of your videos. Thanks for all you do and thanks for the giveaway!!
Thank you for your support. It means a lot to me to hear that you're excited to finally open your F1! Message me if you need any help
Thank you for sharing. What a great resource!! I would love to see diode laser on the charcuterie board and decanter.
We did a video with the F1 that has a 10w diode over shot glasses should be the same
I'd like to see the coasters, decanter, tumbler and charcuterie board in the F1 original.
The decanter will act like the shot glasses inside the tutorial ua-cam.com/video/vGAv4Fewass/v-deo.htmlsi=awBVCh797DElKhrI For the boards and coasters absolutely. They are the same wood I'll make a video on them :) thank you
I'd like to see the fiber used on glass.
A traditional fiber correct? I have a 50w JPT from Haotian
@@AlivePixelCreates Yes sir.
Jesus - their prices are INSANE! I could buy 5 Vevor filters for one small Filtrabox! No thanks.
Yes but I try Avery filter inside my office and not a single one was as good as filtrabox
What kind of chalk marker is that ? I was hoping to give this a try but only can find the colored or white markers to write on chalk boards
The Amazon link is in the video description:)
Is the settings for the blue or IR laser?
IR laser
I've added a co2 laser to my shop, I currently running the gcode version of lightburn, how do I go to the version to run the new laser?
You need to check if your other laser uses g code or what exactly and contact them to upgrade your licence
I’ve had my Omni less than 2 weeks and I’ve engraved everything that isn’t nailed down. You are going to love it! The framing can be awkward but easy enough. On the upside when parts don’t engrave completely it’s really easy to line up and engrave again. I just ungroup select the parts that need redoing, I’ve even moved letters to center and re engraved perfectly. I can’t do that with my fiber laser without some ghosting. The paddle is ok for larger pieces but I had some transparent neon orange I think stencil (came from x tool material sample) it works perfect. I cut a small 4x4 and use that 99% of the time. The focus point is very small. When doing glass it will miss the top and engrave what looks like in between or bottom of the glass. Leveling is super critical. Wait till you engrave wood and cut it. I was impressed. By no means is it worth doing batches but a few is just awesome. Can’t wait to see what you come up with to engrave and cut.
great learning channel thanks ill let everyone know
Thanks! We love helping everyone learn.
Where did you obtain that jig from?
Hi AlivePixelcreates.com
You made this so easy to understand. I found you based on a FB group. I will be ordering soon.
Thanks! I'm glad this video helped. Welcome to the community!
Thanks for everything you do!
Thanks for another great video! I'm intrigued by the Omni, but I'm seeing issues with being able to see the framing without holding a plastic paddle over the engraving area. It would be great to hear your thoughts.
We are getting one very soon to test and show capabilities. Thank you so much for helping us grow the channel
It is absolutely beautiful.
Thank you so much! We love how it turned out.
I was lead here by Lancaster laser supply. I just ordered but what i really wanted you don't stock.
Hi please tell me what you need you can send me a message
How does one remove the old lens ring and lens from the D1 Pro 10W?
The best option is with a 14mm flat screw driver and heat the housing with a torch or inside the oven. Don't burn yourself.
@@AlivePixelCreates Thanks. I was able to remove (unscrew) the retaining ring after soaking it in Acetone for 30 minutes. Now I don't know why I needed the washer. :-)
@theoriginalrjt21 I will say because is faster an easier for cleaning that unscrew that all the time
How much would a glass like that go for?
Depending on the market and all usually two are about 25 or so.
Awesome video!! Where I can get the red sleeve for the rotary ! Than you
Check in our website AlivePixelcreates.com we are in Salem until the end of the year.
Machine is trash .
I feel like is for an entry level user, and definitely not an industrial grade machine. good to learn if you have the money to pay extra for nothing great, is a good laser for what it is if you know the brand shortcomings. also for a dual laser the working area is ok too. personally
What would be good starting point if you wanted to use 30 w rolly to engrave. I have a Roly, and when I first got it engraved, great, and I used the code from the Manuel that took it back to the default setting and I have been trying to get back to what it was but do not remember what the setting was. I just need a good jumping off point and play with from there. I have been trying to engrave on basswood.
try always to start with a power speed test. but also if is only engraving on bass with the role 30/10w try on 30w 60% power 300mm/s 0.08 resolution or 300 lines 1 pass, adding 5% overscan to help acceleration and direction change.
@@AlivePixelCreates thank you
Good comments on the settings. Do you use anything to do final clean up of the bottles?
Yes I do! dawn power wash and a soft sponge with water.
How do you get the camera on the ultra to work. I put something on the bed and the camera is not working to show it. Is there something I have to do to have the camera work? TIA
Never mind. I figured it out.
I was about to say on the top of the software there is a camera icon, just make sure you focus first your material to ensure placement
@@AlivePixelCreates Yes I saw it right after I sent you the message. It is just like the focusing steps on my P2.
Thanks for testing another method to use to engrave/etch glass. I have received my best results with the black PRANG Tempura paint. It is difficult to brush on, (foam brush), an even coat and when trying to apply subsequent coats, it "dissolves" the first coat. Using my airbrush, I have received excellent results with several-3-5 coats and when you shine a flashlight through the glass and cannot see any light, you have a good coat. I am going to try a water based black spray paint which will hopefully give good results with just a water cleanup. "Pinty Plus" is the brand I bought at HomeDepot and Lowes, if you have these stores in your area.
I think the inconsistency is due to the laser not being focused on the height of the coaster. It’s focused on the height of the jig. Recommend loosening the jig and moving it so that one of the coasters are in the middle and then you focus the laser on the coaster itself. I think that would fix your inconsistencies. Awesome video!
I did coasters with no jigs and with the jig and the results are the same and the weird thing is that change from one corner to another even if I take the time to measure all 4 coasters and ensure they are at the same height because I did that too to make sure I'm not being unfair on my testing.
The top ones almost looked like a different coaster so maybe variation in slate?
@@shrimpinpat I tested with over 40 coasters but the results are always like this. Not sure why
erm...is it not Monport?!
Yeah monoport Reno 45w pro
@@AlivePixelCreates you are spelling it wrong... there isnt 3 o only 2 MON port
@89Johneboy you are right I'm updating the info.
Great video as always. 2 questions! 1) how come on my F1 ultra i only get box when framing but yours draw the entire design pattern ? 2) where did you get that honeycomb? Thanks
The honeycomb here AlivePixelcreates.com Next to frame you see 3 dots select that and choose outline.
What size acrylic did you purchase for your F1 Ultra?
12x24 acrylic for range 450nm to 1064nm OD+6
12x24inch OD+6 from 450nm to 1100nm
YEEESSSSS!!! Thank you!!
You're welcome!
