That bass bridge you’re mentioning is just a groove that Wojtek came up with to spice the song up since the song needed a break, but we wanted to make it more fun and grooving than just a break in the middle. Very jazzy, almost like a musical theatre play; a lot of the inspiration for the section was the movie “Corpse Bride”; therefore, we added all the percussions at the back to support the playfulness of the section. I've probably watched 30+ reaktions to that vid, and you're the first one I've heard say the same thing I said...This IS God tier!!! My uncle played bass for BB King, Bobby Rush and almost had a gig with Patrice Rushen, and he's who I thought I made that tier for, but I see Im not the only one who thinks that way.😉 As for MyUnkle, it was bekuz of the way he started playin bass. Quikk story... He was the drummer in his band. They were practicin one day, and the bass player kept skrewin up. My unkle got pissed, jumped off the drums, grabbed the bass, and played the song solo front to bakk with know mistakes. He had never played bass before that day. He knew it instinktively. The year was 1972. He's been playin since. Not sayin he's the greatest or even in that konversation, but he's the greatest I've ever seen who kan pikk up a song on the fly or do some amazin shit jus jammin. That's God tier to me!

Chad’s played live thousands of times over his four-decade career. He’s been with RHCP since the late ’80s! With that kind of experience, he can jump in on a new track and practically guess where it’s headed. I see a lot of comments saying this might be fake or that he’s heard the song before, but when you’ve played this many gigs, you can adapt on the fly. You can literally watch him feel out the rhythm and tweak his playing in real-time. That’s the mark of a true pro.

Lol, I don't know if I read about this in Kiedis's book "Scar Tissue" or just sort of absorbed it via osmosis from watching dozens of band interviews with Flea and all the boys but I'm pretty sure that Chad had this epic audition with RHCP were his musicianship, energy and power level just really resonated with the band and watching this Drumeo episode feels like being front row to the same revelation. What a talented and cool dude!

As far as not knowing the song. I kinda call BS on it. He knew the band immediately and knew that Shannon was the drummer. There's no way you know all of that about the band and have never listened to what is essentially their breakout song.

I was spoiled by seeing Chad first and didn't realize that other drummers listened first and played after.

Ireland is a Celtic nation, Our past is linked to our druidic beliefs while Christianity is now the dominant religion we still tell stories and have that part of our culture, The triskele, The various Celtic knots and the black feathers representing The Morrígan known as the great queen or phantom queen it is all there and she done an amazing job bringing them aspects into a song. I wish more people would realise that our culture is a lot more and deep then just the past 200 years.

Sugarfoot was the only other drummer i saw just pick up the sticks and go. He kind of felt his way through a Linkin Park song and did pretty good at adjusting to the structure.

I never get tired of that outro where he plays the 2 over the 3. It's the craziest flex.

I'm personally not much of a fan of Sleep Token. I'm not saying they're a bad band, I'm saying they aren't for me. What I can say is that as I see it, this song belongs to Will now. It was a decent song he made exponentially better by just being Will Ramos. I love Lorna Shore so the fact that they have no clean vocals makes vocal covers like this so much more fun and impressive. I'm fairly sure they're nothing Will can't do vocally.
