Hi David can you let me know what and were did you get the parts and correct name of the parts. I am changing mine from 2bbr to 4bbr and I want to get correct parts thanks. Loved the vedio❤❤❤❤
Look this is ok and it works until the regulator goes bad. A simple fix and in my opinion the correct way to do this. Drop the tank, remove the high-pressure pump put in a low-pressure one, or just delete it in the tank, I did! I put my fuel pump in line up in the engine compartment. The return line to the tank either needs to be caped or put a one-way check valve and use it for a vent! I capped mine! The carb if set to the correct flote level will regulate it's self! This has worked since the beginning of the gas engine! Remember a gas engine only needs three things to run, Air, Fuel, and Spark! ALL OF THESE RIDICULOUS SENSORS ARE NOT NEEDED AND ARE JUST THERE BECAUSE SOME MORON IN THE us GOVERNMENT THINKS HE KNOWS MORE THEN THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE THESE ENGINES!!! When a EMP hits the computers and sensors that run your car or truck will not work! I get rid of that crap and lose no fuel mileage, and it can pass all emission tests! Get rid of the computer crap and put the fun back into driving a muscle car!!!
Before I sold the truck I was planning on putting a low pressure fuel pump in it with pressure regulator to ensure consistent pressure. Carbs are cools and all, but I will have to disagree with you on your point about modern technology and sensors. I think new tech is much more efficient, and if you have the knowledge, skills, and tools to work on it then it can be as if not more exciting than old stuff.
I got most of this yet I am still confused I am going to time my Nissan Van I have never done this before yet I am good at mechanics If you set the light to a degree you need it should be "0" at the balancer or other way around I get this but then when do you adjust the distributor? Sorry, this is a first for me.
Step one: set timing light (if equipped with this function) to the desired advance. Step two: adjust the distributer until the mark aligns at 0 on the timing tab. OR If your light does not have the adjust function. Align the mark to the desired advance by adjusting the distributer.

Absolutely true, this has saved my life.
When I eliminated the emissions on my F250, I bought a shorter belt and rerouted it and did not get a dummy pulley. I just removed the smog pump and bought the shorter belt so now the routing of the belt is different, but all of the accessories like a/c, alternator, water pump and tensioner pulley all stayed the same.
Otc is best.
Was getting my butt kicked until i realized it should be flashing without the flash button. I think the connnection is messed up on the spark plug clip. I got it nonetheless.

Hello sir i got a 93 f150 dual tank. How would i connect both fuel tanks?
Both tanks will already be connected. They are controlled via the switch on the cab.

Yes. You can select each tank from the switch and then in the engine compartment there should be one fuel delivery line and a return line.

Basically a big block Chevy with LS heads! (And a little computer mixed in there).
Some of us try and come off this then crash into smithereens.after 7 months I had to take it again. You have to be in a very happy place to stop taking this if you suffer from crippling severe depression. Please don’t come off it unless your life is going very well indeed. Everything must be good work family money home prospects. Please don’t self diagnosis to come off it even if you think it’s ok if one of the above is going well. It will hit you very hard when it’s out of your system if you are not in that complete sweet spot like a juggernaut. It may take 4 months to come out if your system but if you are not really up there when you stop taking it in life it will take you down to the depths of hell.

I was on mirtazapine for 3 + a half years... plus Zoloft-(sertraline)-for many years...yet to be honest neither was helping..the sertraline did help but unfortunately I eventually had to very recently stop it due to side effects. So I was put on Celexa-(CITALOPRAM 20mg) just 2-weeks ago.. and it's working "great". It's definitely the best medication iv ever been on. I'm delighted to finally after all these long years-to have found the medication that works perfectly. Thank god for Celexa-(CITALOPRAM). 👍
if you paid $300.00 for that regulator you got taken? because Holley carburetors makes them and they sell for between $50.00 and $75.00. I hate to be the bearer of bad news.
Yes, in hindsight I did not need a dual stage regulator. Eventually I will do this project again and may go a different route with the pressure regulator. Although, it is a good piece of equipment.
What is the best way to do that without the timing tab on the engine
Advance timing until you have detonation under load/going up hill and then back it off just a smidge is a popular way to go.

the things I wondered about was the length of the kickdown and the accelerator cables. I have been told that you can get those cables from 1985 mustangs. I have also heard that you can use the original distributer if you have it stock. you can also use a duraspark 2 distributer if you have one around. my question is how you run wires on your distributer, something you didn't address
I think I got a 6’ accelerator cable. I did not have a kickdown cable because I had a manual transmission. For wiring the distributor you just need to make sure you wire it to an ignition power source so that it turns on when you turn the key. I am hoping in the next couple of years to have another truck to do this conversion on and I can make a more in depth and inclusive video.
I think there are 3 wires on my electronic one. I know 1 is for the tach and 1 has to be hot from the switch@@DavidCompton

What distributor did you use I bought a hei for my 1996 351w and the distributor is 1/2 shorter from the gear ti the end of the shaft

You are putting your vacuum advance in the wrong spot. It goes on the metering block on the side of the carb.
Nice video but why the "strumming" and banging on it? Some more finger picking would have been better but looks like a nice bass if played correctly.

hi David... thanks for sharing. i need that same setup on the back of your carb, for my 283. (the PCV valve and fitting) I am having a heck of a time finding one. Currently, i have a reducer which takes the 1/2" hose down to 3/8". Do you have a source, or link, to where one can get those parts? Thought i would ask.... thanks!
