Drove this route today and hit multiple pot holes, which probably damaged my car. Horrified to see the waste of the public money on these ridiculous speed cameras. This PCC doesn't get my vote! Focus on CRIME. There's more than enough of this in Hampshire.

Address the real issues for long term benefit, i.e. invest in road policing by police officers and better training for police officers so they can improve communication and interactions with the community they serve.

All that will do is drive bikers and car guys somewhere else. Speeding is not causing that many deaths. And you can't sight illegal exhausts as a reason to enforce this because one they're illegal and it's a separate offence and 2, cameras don't have microphones. All this is is classic government scheme which is veiled and hiding behind 'keeping the public safe' and 'reducing anti social behaviour and reduce road deaths' but the only really significant change it will bring is FINE REVENUE.

This is a complete waste of money. Speed cameras do not change the noise from your exhaust. Try using the money on the 100s of pot holes that are currently in the road, that are more dangerous than speed. Just an MP trying to please a few millionaires friends that live along the A32.

Car meets are positive activities for young people to engage and explore cars. There isn’t much else for them to do around this age, they can’t even have a part time job without gaining a daft permit from their Headteacher. No Ill-intent. It’s better than stealing others cars or causing harm, loss, injury or fraud - the very basis of the rule of law. The LA ought to create positive car meets that are current and not full of old codgers. Allow the young to lead it with clear boundaries on respect for the local community.
