How do you like the Neewer tripod? I've got some cheap one and been looking to upgrade.
It has served me well for the past 5 years. The only thing, and it’s minor, is one of the leg extensions must’ve got some dirt and grit inside and it’s a little sticky extending out and back in. I’ve taken all the legs and extensions apart and cleaned them, but for some reason that one leg extension still feels sticky when extended out and back in. It has not affected stability or performance in any way and hasn’t released by itself or anything like that. It’s a great buy for $100 on Amazon right now.

I got spiked once at a student party. someone added some beer to my lemonade. it wasn't pretty… make sure to put some grease or some loctite on those threads so they don't corrode in there 🙂 quick thought - they're not a left-hand thread are they?

Only if I had three small rubber pads. These probably aren’t ones to put on a tripod used for indoor shoots on wooden floors. 👍🏼👍🏼

ND filters will definitely be my next investment 👍
It will be a good investment too V6! I’m still learning how best to use them on my Ace Pro for vlogging. I know using ND filters will block out harsh sunlight, and know how to use them on my Canon R5 for photography. Using them on my Ace Pro for video is different and a learning process for me. Thanks for always supporting my channel! 💜
they look a nice set of filters. FW are certainly at the higher end quality wise 🙂 I wouldn't necessarily stress too much over the 180 rule. I like to use it only when there's a lot of motion in the scene to get smooth, jitter-free footage. otherwise I just set the shutter to auto. I tend to leave ISO at base level unless I'm in really low light (which you can see in next Saturday's video) as these small sensor cameras can suffer from noise artefacting relatively easily. my general rule is to stick to 25fps (UK standard) and set the shutter to 1/50th, then simply rotate a variable ND (mine goes from 1 to 6 stops I think) to set exposure. I do though always stick to the 180 rule for higher frame rates (slo-mo) when I use 100fps (1/200th shutter) or 200fps (1/400th) but tend to find that with the faster shutter speeds an ND is largely redundant unless it's really bright. BTW I do not profess to be some sort of expert (I'm a photographer first and foremost - and not a very good one at that), and would guarantee that a video guru or professional would shoot my argument down in flames in a heartbeat! But I know what I like and find it easier to stick to something I know!!

fs 27 minutes freewill are the high dollar ones, supposed to be the best. the only thing I use nd filters on right now is my air3 I crashed it the other day, I edited the video and used your instrumental you sent me I haven't scheduled it yet though you're in the credits

How are you liking the nd filters?
Good so far Amy. I need to practice getting my shutter speed and frame rate correct - the 180 rule. And also finding the best exposure for when I have an ND filter on.
Man, I love the Shimoda bags so much. I have the Explore V2 35L for big treks, but that is a big bag. I'm eyeing one of these smaller Urban Explore bags for smaller trips. I just wish they'd make a version without the top compartment. I'd prefer to have everything in the inside compartment like the Lowepro.

What's up brother! Continue to make those doctor appointments and look after your health. I also wanted you to know that I both the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and the Hollyland Lark M2. I used them both on a Cruise back in July and the Audio and Video turned out great. That cruise gave me the opportunity to work out any kinks with the new gear. I think you will really enjoy them. I don't use the Pocket 3 when fishing as the the GoPros I have are a better fit for that type of content. Take er easy brother!
