Thank you so much. I had an example in my text but I kept getting the wrong numbers. Reason was that it kept defaulting to list 1. It was driving me crazy. Just beginning intro to stats and it's really just all Greek to me😂. Thanks again

Is there a way to delete a single number from the list? Like if you wanted to remove the top 2 numbers?

I have a TI-84 so I dont know if it works on a TI-83, but if you want to clear a list without using clear list or deleting it, highlight the list and press the clear button.

Thank you for this! I'm in a stats class where it requires me to write long and complicated formulas and I simply wouldn't have the time in an exam to calculate the mean and SD of some of the questions (which is essentially just step 0 in some questions). This will save me a bunch of time with a lower chance for error!

The Standard Deviation is already listed on your calculator is it not? The variance doesn’t seem to be computing right. Squaring or square rooting. The SD should be 7 and the Variance is the SD squared which would be 49. Let me know if I'm wrong because my homework doesn't seem to be correct when I do it the way you just showed me. You did help me make a huge short cut on my work, much appreciated. Let's get this right so people know.
