Unhandled 2 Year Old Colt: with an injury to his right eye
Переглядів 1,8 тис.4 роки тому
Unhandled 2 Year Old Colt: I was asked to help catch this colt that needed veterinary help with an injured right eye. I had none of my tools with me other than a new rope I had in my truck and a bag of carrots. Thankfully we found an old halter & lunge line to get the job done! All up about 45 minutes work. If you'd like to connect with me then you can find me on FaceBook. Thanks for watching -...

Sometimes we just need to get away from everyday life... & there's nothing better than packing up the truck & driving a few hundred miles away into the great Aussie Bush to find some peace to sooth the soul. "Keepin' it real - Marty"

Too bad some people don't get proper advice B 4 it gets to this point!
Beautiful
Great demo of how it should be done 👌⭐️
So very patient. True trainer. Hat's off to you, Sir
What pony is this
Missing the boys❤🐴
what was the purpose of lifting the horse's feet with the rope?
A lot of benefits to this; the horse learns to get soft & give to pressure. i.e; If the horse gets his leg caught in a fence then he won’t have the same desire to fight, struggle or flee from the pressure. This also makes it easier for farriers & Vet’s who need to work around their feet & legs. The horse becomes more comfortable & better balanced when asked to pick up its feet… rather than leaning & always being heavy!
❤
Krásný kůň, super trpělivá práce s nim.Bravo❤❤❤
Very hurt horse
❤️
Horse is displaying a lot of pain from the bit. Bits are made solely to harm a horse to force them to obey. The mouthing, head bobbing, rein pulling, etc are all signs of pain and distress. Go Bitless or bridleless and actually train the horse! All you're doing is harming him and being cruel.
What kind of saddle does this guy use?? Please, advise, where to buy such one! Thanks!!
👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you for showing us how to train a trained pony
My horse is 19 and he needs a refresher he ha already been ridden it was just a long time ago do you have any tips
So awesome to see this, Beautiful boy ❤💪❤
How long did all this take?
Usually one to two weeks 🐴
Thank you for the steps shown. I really want to enjoy my rescued Standie
Patience patience patience... persistence persistence persistence builds TRUST TRUST TRUST then training training training Repetition! That's a Horseman or Horsewomans LIFE! 👍👍👍 GIDDYAP!
My impression of this stud about halfway through this video is he is not inherently MEAN. Of course he was very leery but I did not see mean on his agenda. He was curious, he was leery, but I think he is doing very well all things considered.
stunning horse and beautiful work, thank you
I’ve ridden on a beach only twice-it’s so beautiful. What a wonderful adventure!
Absolutely gorgeous 😍
Thank you!! 😊🐴🇿🇦
I really liked the "ghost" movements you did of petting and puting part of the halter over. Never saw that before.
Untaught adult 'handler'. This is horrible. The handler was very fortunate that this stallion was so patient and good-natured. 🤬
SOLD !!!! this man CARES !!!! ❤️
Horses , children etc. Some people have NO BIZ with!!!
Where is this .. fantastic bird sounds !!!
Shes so relaxed , like seen it all before . What would you do if she flighty at stick with flag on her back & body ?
I would like to see what was cut out of this video.
Amazing video!
I would love to see how this horse has come on since this video was taken.
Love watching these American fellas doing their thing, the “cowboy” types know their stuff and get the job done without all the fuss. Big thumbs up 🇬🇧👍🏻
He was trying so hard, bless him
This horse looks like its been gelded and you added to much pressure that why the horse chose to fight with you
Is this in Australia? The birds are certainly noisy, and I thought I heard an accent. Wonderful horse handling.
He is so beautiful!
Dang! that matted mane sure tells the "unhandled"story.
This lady has patience of a saint.
How did you make the bridle/head stall?
Anyway!!!
There were(are) only camel in Arabia.
Arabian horse what does it mean
just get on and ride it
Gorgeous stallion
Very impressed with your experience and patience with this stallion. Nice video.
Time spent and patience rewarded.
He's a ginger hot head, but I love your patience xx
This is exactly how mine does
