Can we get this 1931 Ford Model A running and driving? Will it run?
Great day in the morning, that thing sounds awesome
Thanks for watching!
Why would you ever put it in front of the entrance to the trailer.
Thank you for your comment, put what in front of the trailer?
The power cables from the Battery to the Inverter are not large enough to run a 3500 watt Inverter. I've observed some cut the ends off a set of Heavy Gauge jumper cables, to use for Main Power.
Thanks for the info, our current needs are nowhere near enough to push this inverter. Currently we are just charging cell phones and camera batteries.
Nice set-up. I can't wait to see the final build.
Thanks!!!!
Q, you are not insulating the trailer before configuring it? Your properties aim are in cold evenings areas…
That’s a great question, so far we're only going to use the trailer in the Spring, Summer and fall. So, if we need it I have a plan to add it.
Really nice work, but I’m going to have to watch more videos to better understand why the bathroom can only be accessed from outside the trailer.
Definitely for sure check out the other videos, the plans we had for the walls wouldn't allow for a door inside. But the way we use it is more as a base of operations, so it works out really well for us.
Could have also bought some bed slats that are webbed together and cut them down :)
Good idea, that is definitely a way you could go.
really nice idea, some adjustment to make like replace the Loop for Steel Eye Screws ,also install the straps before use a glue to make the installation more easy, but really really nice idea and clean, thanks for share your beautiful set up
Interesting thoughts, thanks for the feedback!
subbed...I am in the reseach phase for my build. SLightly diff in that it will be a mini toy hauler/camper...Are there any issues with the lead acid battery off gassing inside the trailer?
Thanks for subbing! The off-gassing occurs when the battery is being heavily used, such as when it is being charged. The gas that is produced is hydrogen and oxygen (which is produced because of electrolysis), which is highly flammable, so that is the main concern. Eventually I plan to upgrade to a lithium iron phosphate battery, probably one of the batteries from SOK batteries. In our specific case we are only charging the battery when parked with the main trailer door open with lots of fresh air since the solar panels are the fold out kind. I look forward to hearing more about your build!
Cant wait for the next video! I'm looking forward to seeing how this trailer turns out!
Thanks for watching! I appreciate the encouragement!
Why would make the bathroom accessible only from the outside door?
For the layout of our trailer it didn't make sense, if you see the upcoming videos you will see that there is no place for a door on the inside. Because this trailer already had a door on the outside we chose to use it for the bathroom. It's really convenient when stopping during a trip. Thank you for your comment!
@@fireballgarage That makes sense.
Great video!
Thank you for watching!
"Bow" and "crown" are not the same thing. If you are sighting down the narrow side of the board, and it curves right or left, that is bow. If it curves up or down, that is crown. And it's "height," not "heighth."
Thanks for the info
This video was great! I cant wait to see more of this series, I'm thinking about trying out something somewhat similar in the future.
Thank you for the encouragement. That sounds awesome, I'd love to see what you come up with.
What a great base to create your own RV! Look forward to your renovations! Take Care
Thank you so much for the kind words! We have exciting plans for it, stay tuned!
What is with the music over your voice? It’s not fun at all to try to block out music while concentrating on the words. Just drop the music. I got 3 minutes into the video before giving up.
Thank you for the feedback, we'll try to do better on future videos.
sorry but this video is not informative
Sorry you think that, the upcoming videos will be more step by step and informative.
All that for just a bathroom?? You might as well put a little galley and dinette while your at it.
Stay tuned, maybe we will! :)
... I used a pre-fab shower , trimmed and adjusted as needed ... [imo] road vibration will destroy that vanity/sink even if you "reinforce" it , a metal sink won't crack ... been a nomad over 30 yrs. many vehicles , when I first started an "old" timer told me to build everything like it's a boat - screw and glue ... good luck with your build and safe travels ...
Screw and glue! I like that, thanks for the info.
Maybe use a shop vac to clean up the pine needles and other debris?
Thanks for the tip!
What year and how many miles on the odometer on your car ? I have a 2015 with only 37K miles that I'm thinking of selling.
2015 and 56,000 miles
Lmao blip at the throttle it's called a throttle wack
Same thing we all got it
Why didn’t you sell to carvana? Did you compared to carvana?
At the time carvana was only offering $12,000 for it. Carmax was offering $19,800.
To drive a new MBZ is pure delight, but challenging to get rid of them after 4-5 years - I know, I had five of these babies. The word got out that these cars break down a lot and the repairs are very very expensive, that's why I drive a Lexus now.
Did the word get out? Bro, it's 2024. BMW has been a trash brand after warranty this whole century.
@@mikecast20 I agree! Audi is also a very costly car.
It definitely was a fun car, but glad to get out of it before any costly repairs.
Would’ve probably gotten more selling on Facebook marketplace
I'll definitely try that next time, thanks!
Private buyer. Not private seller
That's what I meant, thanks!
how much it sell for? you mentioed 18.5 but never what you got from carmax
Carmax offered/paid $19,800
family labor 🤣
For sure!
No smoking pot in the pits. 😎👍
I think the headlights turned out great, what do you think?
What if my hands aren't clean?
Then you should definitely wash them before working on the interior
no hate just criticism, you didn’t fix it at all. it still sags in the 2 spots (left and right) at highway speed you’re going to have the same problem.
Thank you for the comment! I didn't use the right adhesive (fabric adhesive) and so my results weren't perfect. I go into that both in the linked video and in the description of this short. I'd like to help people avoid this mistake.
Has anyone else tried to fix headliner like this before?
Let me know which sounds better, the Borla, stock exhaust or open exhaust?
Let me know the troubles you have had smogging your car!
This was a fun problem to pin down. Let me know if I covered everything.

Car enthusiasts in Cali are going to need to find a new hobby. That state is going to have everyone walking in the next 20years with the direction they are going.
Definitely a good reason to leave California!
The video is great, you need to keep promoting your channel. Is not hard.
thanks!!!!
Uhhhh it'd like 11
TOTALLY AWSOME.
That’s so cool!
Amazing when you realize they are only opening the throttle 1/8 th of an inch! Just wait till they go WFO!
Love it when they turn the Nitro valve on. 💯
ooof, they spent so much on the engine that they couldnt afford ear protection....
No way it is that much HP... For a start, how would they have measured it..?
They can't measure it on a Dyno. No dyno in the world could withstand those motors. Yes they make 10,000 to 12,000 hp . It's done because of weight / time plus the amount of fuel they burn in one run. They use 16 to 20 gallons of fuel for one 1/4 mile pass including burn out.
YES ........... ALL VERY GOOD STUFF .......... 👍.......... ACCELERATION , MPH INCREMENTALz , FUEL CONSUMPTION RATE ALL MATHEMATICALLY POINTS 2 BETWEEN 11 - 12000 HORSEPOWER ........... ITS FRICKIN' SO GNARLY AWESOME 2 EXPERIENCE !!!!!!!!🤘😝🤘!!!!!!!!
Music to my ears
the windchime is priceless.
!!!!!!!!🤣🤣🤘😝🤘🤣🤣!!!!!!!!
So if you take a 500 hp engine and compare it to this one, metallurgical speaking, what's the difference?
It runs on nitromethane and gets an overhaul after every 1/4 mile run.
everything. 500hp engine parts wouldn't last 2 seconds in this.
If it is 20 times more power, the main bearings and big end bearings need to be 20 times bigger..
Top fuel has a forged aluminum block.
