Get checked
Oh dude, that sucks. Hope you’re doing well with the infection
Crazy indeed!
Is the top rail and down tube bent as if its had a head on shunt , not that it matters, mono shock it with a classic mini rubber front suspension cone ?
Yes, what’s actually happened is someone has cut the frame and put a different angle on the front, and welded it back wonky! I have not sourced a new original frame to possibly use that- but it depends if I’m going to modify it- not sure yet- if I’m cutting and redoing it, I won’t use the new frame I have and use this one to save butchering any more British bike bits lol
*Promo sm* 👌
beautiful
Disaster 😂
So funny Josh and that one where you are in flight from the slide 😂😂😂😂
Better being at work !!! So right 😂😂😂
Hahaha “Go Josh” 😂😂😂
This worked on my volvo d5 and saved me loads of cash. but you have to drain all the coolant out and fill with just water first. add the steal seal run engine up to temp and idle for an hour with heater on full ,them leave over night to let it cool down
Bleed nipple should go to the top as air rises, most manufactures place brakes/clutch nipples upward to make sure all the air is easier to bleed off !
Your mistake was using it with water. That's why it didnt work. Your suppose to use it with your cars correct coolant NOT WATER! YOU SHOWED YOUR CHEAP LITTLE WATER BOTTLE YOU WAS USING 🤦🏻♂️. SO YOU SHOULD TAKE BACK YOUR FALSE COMMENT ABOUT IT BEING RUBBISH ETC ETC, BECAUSE YOU DIDNT DO THE TEST CORRECTLY DUDE. Do things right next time before commenting, the right way NOT THE CHEAP WAY. WATER? YOUR MISLEADING PEOPLE BY DOING NOT DOING THINGS CORRECTLY. SO BOOOOOOO BOOOOO YOU, LOL WHAT A JOKE 🤡
Id be interested in your scheme thingy whatsit! good video, very informative!
Thanks, by the comments I’m not sure if I did it correctly but it was certainly worth a shot. So we’ve managed to get a location to store the cars a few people together more than happy to give you some more info. Send me an email: 1935104@gmail.com
Enfield box, bsa Starfire oil tank.... a right 'Bitza'
You did it all wrong mate. Thanks for the video anyway
Probably! What should I have done?
@@adventures-with-Josh-the-hat drain the system, add cold coolant, add the sealant, let it iddle for 30mins, turn off and rest for 24h, take a ride with it after like 20/30mins then drain the coolant again, add new coolant and change the engine oil
another point is depending on coolant type, you may want to drain fully and use the product with pure water, then replace with fresh coolant once its done and cooled.
Not compatible with long life coolant, needs to be thoroughly flushed, and at least 3 warm up and cool down cycles, I'm hoping it has sorted my water in oil prob, early days, but it ticked over for 40 mins with no coolant loss, oil still clean, and 20 min test drive of 1.8 k series 🙏🙏
I used steel seal in an f250 with a gas motor and it’s going on with over 25k miles and using zero coolant loss. Had a blown head gasket dumping into the cylinder
Used steel seal a few times, always worked, a neighbour's car is still running 5 years later. Either the crack or warp was too big or yer man didn't use it properly. TBH he doesn't sound like the sharpest knife in the drawer.
In your experience did both of you flush the system of all coolant and refil with just water before adding the solution?
@@skywalker5thwrld we flushed the system then pit fresh coolant then added the steel seal if I remember correctly but it’s been a while. The truck is still good 9 months after my original post and we use it daily for work in my landscape business.
You have to leave it for 24 hours then use it after it worked for me
I’m guessing it must work for some people, Although I didn’t see that on the back of the packet but I will check… thanks for the info
Doesn't the cooling system need to be flushed with distilled water and the thermostat removed before adding the product? I've heard that Steel Seal is not compatible with anti-freeze/coolant.
Not according to the instructions on the back of it. To be honest there was no coolant or antifreeze left in it anyway I’ve been running out on water for quite a few miles. :)
@@adventures-with-Josh-the-hat 👍
Yes your suppose to it says on back
IME, yes, several thousand miles later still no leaks etc. Will it work in every situation, probably not, is it permanent ? but neither is a head gasket etc so when you have nothing to lose or it is the last chance you are giving a car then I would say go for it. It’s all about perception and where you are with the life cycle of your vehicle. I would definitely use it again if required but hopefully I won’t need to! it was certainly a dramatic impact as I watched the leak stop in real time within a few minutes, regards
Appreciate your input! Interesting to get some info on it working. Sadly it didn’t work for me. Keep us updated on how long it lasts 👌🏻
The old bike like that BSA were built to be rebuildable forever. A guy who owns Japanese motorcycles outlives is Japanese motorcycles but a guy who has British motorcycles the British motorcycles will outlive him.
100% agreed! Love that. I’m going to start building it soon into something rather unusual
Good video, how many bikes and crap stuff have bought after a night on the ale.
Yes indeed! And many more to follow, hopefully not hopefully. Am going to start making a weird bobber chop out of it. So watch out for the next video. :) thanks for supporting the channel.
Keep going , the bsa will live again !👍
Thank you! I’m researching the oil pump set up! Need that working before I start chopping it up for next next couple of videos. Thanks for supporting
To fix a leaking heater, the dash has to come out. The steel heater pipes through the bulkhead rust out. They seal in the heater matrix with rubber seals. The steel pipes need to be replaced with copper or SS. The bulkhead on all manual sd1's eventually crack around the master cylinder. There is a doubling plate on the inside attached with a few spot welds. Have fun with repairs
Thanks for the info mate! Yeah that’s exactly what’s happened. Fun fun fun!
😂😂🤔🤔
Oh the sound of the engine!
