As a pretty conservative republican this is still one of my favorite tv shows of all time. Common sense frist and then party lines. Also i watched the show for the forst time in 2021 and am currently on my 7th rewarch. Just great
#2 They both love each other, and they both know they love each other, but they also both know that right then they couldn't love each other because that wound between them still hadn't healed. But, still they hug, because they need to express as much of it as they can, again still knowing they can't fully. It is so particular. Perfectly acted, perfectly written. Very interesting facet of human existence.
I love this show, and I own the series on Blu-Ray! It was Sorkin at his best, without network standards and practices goons looking over his shoulder and cutting his dialogue. He created great television. I couldn’t think of a more topical TV program than to parody or emulate (if that’s what it is) a TV network and its’ cable news channel. These scenes are amazing, but my favorite of all time was when Don Keifer explained how the Nancy Grace show operates. That was sheer television gold, and Mac’s breaking of the fourth wall in it was perfect! Sorkin makes TV for smart people. He is not shy about that. You have to be quick and smart to “get” it, and there’s always at least two layers to everything he writes. It’s so unlike everything else we watch, whose target market is 12 year old boys, and not the smart 12 year old boys, either.
They used to be... This county, hell the entire world is so far down the rabbit hole that sanity (such as this television show) are the only refuges left for those of us who are holding on to that precipice, refusing to be pulled into the rip tide pulling this world aparr...
We talk about the writing of this show and how the love between these two ebbed and floed with the constant underlying feelings. But these two actors brought it to life on the screen and deserve a lot of the respect.
Who's singing the cover?
Phenomenal acting by Emily Mortimer and Jeff Daniels!!! Phenomenal
I need me a therapist like that.
Best show ever, so underrated
They've got to be one of the best couples in television history. I agree with you. ❤

I wish I have a girl like this.
I never missed this or The West Wing. Loved every minute !!
😁
I promise never to shred paper again. There. I said it. How long does it take to start working?
Sancho, my armor my sword!!
Your fucking disdain for the internet- “Is matched only by *your* fucking disdain for the internet.
Aaron Sorkin knows what the hell he's doing!!! Wow.
Do any of you in broadcasting get chills when they be like “throw out the rundown!!!”
Mac is young sophie from howl's moving castle and I cannot unhear it.
I know, it was weird watching Howl's Moving Castle once I made the connection.
I love this so much
My favorite scene is when he starts overreacting and freaking out (in a good way) when she quietly announces she's pregnant.
#4 is more a Charlie, Will and Mac moment more than a Mac and Will moment.
how can you not just LOVE emily mortimer
8, 3, 2 & 1!!! Although #2 could have a bit more to those whom don't know!
For #3 you chopped Will off - his response is INTEGRAL to that moment,\.
We got Obama!
I loved the way he handed her his wallet)
Amaaaaaaazing show. Just amazing....

I really loved Emily Mortimer in this, maybe cos she's from 🇬🇧 I don't know but she's just lovely to watch. 🥰🥰🥰
'Can you handle anything?' 'Yes' 'Jellyfish?'
And thus will start my 4th watch
This show will be my all time favorate! Well written, well acted, well casted! It was a marvel, and far too short a run!
Exactly how I feel
I own season 1 and 2.Brilliant writing and acting. These actors gave it their all.Aaron Sorkin is a brilliant writer.
does anyone know the name of the song that was playing at 1:40 ?
"Always on my mind", sung by Willie Nelson, i think.
What episode was #3??
I've been working on a video with all mac and will's moments but I'm not done yet.i can send you the video if you gave me your email.
Live in Texas for 21 years Willie Nelson hell to the yeah
Clip cut out on #2 right before the best part of the convo😡
Jeff Daniels is a national treasure
very very good show ...there is a little boy shredding up paper..right now..yes indeed..peace.
When Will shredded the Tiffany receipt, and then told Mac the story of a little boy shredding paper. That was very symbolic.
What is that song
Mck is hole.
9:24 What in the F is happening right now?! And the wallet scene.
''Brian just write the truth'' Isn't weird when you hear your own name on a show.Takes you out of the action. And Yes I try to write the truth,
Watched these clips a few times last week. Then noticed it was on NOWTV. So binge watched the full lot again.
1:39 every married man has been in this moment.
It is my belief that the reason I loved this show so much is my fervent hope there are really people like these two in the world.
There are, they just need to meet each other (Japanese female from Fukuoka Kyushu)
I'm pretty sure that's Jeff Daniels for real... Just with some Sorkin polish on his oratorical skills.
They used to be... This county, hell the entire world is so far down the rabbit hole that sanity (such as this television show) are the only refuges left for those of us who are holding on to that precipice, refusing to be pulled into the rip tide pulling this world aparr...
@@MikinessAnalog hello there
Totally agree. Loved these 2 & loved the show. I wish Aaron would come back with some more.
So good

100% AGREE. THEIR ACTING WAS GREATTTT
Absolutely agree. They were superb.
Mac's name is even funnier when you add the McAvoy: McKenzie McHale McAvoy.
Mackenzie Morgan McHale McAvoy When they announced that they're engaged they realised that
McKenzie McAvoy = MacMac Imagine if everyone started calling her that, lmao ☺
"Yeah that's not gonna work.. " 😁
Sancho my sword !
