Stronger Than This Moment - Invisible War (Track 14)
A man walking down the crowded streets slowed as he noticed the dirty and shabbily dressed man sitting against the wall, the bustling city more than content to ignore his presence. The man’s head hung low, his hands cradling a paper cup, not so much begging as bearing witness to the world rushing past. There was a deep weariness in his posture, as though the weight of battles fought and memories endured had long ago bent his shoulders.
The stranger hesitated, nearly convincing himself to keep going just as everyone else did, but something stalled him. After a moment's consideratoni, he crossed the street, walking deliberately toward the broken man. He crouched down, close enough to speak without startling but not imposing. “Hey there,” he said, his voice calm and unassuming. “Cold day to be out like this.”
The homeless man didn’t respond immediately, but his eyes flicked up-a flicker of acknowledgment, guarded but present.
The man pressed on, his tone casual, as if they were old acquaintances. “You know, I was just grabbing a coffee a couple blocks back. Place has the best donuts-don’t suppose you’d let me get you one?”
The homeless man shifted slightly, his gaze wary, but not dismissive. It was a small crack in the armor of isolation, and the man pressed just a little more. “You remind me of someone I used to know,” he added. “Served in the Army, I think-your jacket gave it away.”
The veteran’s lips twitched, a shadow of a smile. “Yeah,” he murmured finally, his voice hoarse, as though it hadn’t been used in days. He shrugged with a sigh as he looked away. “A long time ago.”
“Well, thank you,” the man said simply, the sincerity in his tone cutting through the clamor of the street. He straightened, letting the silence linger for a beat before adding, “I’m heading that way anyhow-what do you say? Let’s get out of the cold for a bit.”
The veteran looked at him for a long moment. There was hesitation, fear even, but also a glimmer of something else-perhaps recognition, perhaps just the faintest spark of trust. Finally, he nodded, pushing himself up with slow, deliberate movements.
As they walked side by side, the stranger kept his words light, not probing, just present. He didn’t expect miracles, but he understood the value of being seen-truly seen. And perhaps, in the simple act of walking together, the veteran could begin to feel the faintest tug of belonging again.

Empty Road - Invisible War (Track 12)
Переглядів 2242 місяці тому
The blare of a semi truck horn jolted him awake. The cold concrete beneath him radiated a dull ache through his back, but it was better than the mud from the night before. He pulled his threadbare jacket tighter around him, glancing at the graffiti-scrawled walls that hemmed him in. The messages were as meaningless as the days: bold proclamations in fading paint, left by people trying to make t...

The night is quiet, save for the soft hum of crickets and the faint rustle of wind through the trees. The veteran sits on the edge of his bed, his face buried in his hands, the dim glow of the bedside lamp casting long shadows across the room. In the other room, he can hear his family laughing, their voices muffled by the walls. They have no idea that just a few feet away, he’s unraveling. He s...

(TRIGGER WARNING - Self-harm, depression.) "Get it together." The words echo in his mind, an unyielding mantra he clings to as he stands in the midst of a cheerful crowd. Friends and family gather on a bright, sunlit afternoon, the air alive with the scent of barbecue and the sound of laughter. But for the veteran, it’s as if an invisible tide has dragged him away from the shoreline. Smiling fa...
The Monster In Me - Invisible War (Track 9)

(TRIGGER WARNING - Self-harm, depression.) The days blur together, an unrelenting grind of unpaid bills and hollow routines. The freedom he once dreamed of now feels like a vast, empty void, crushing him with its weight. In the military, every moment had a purpose-eat at this time, march there, follow orders. Now, left to his own devices, he feels unmoored, with nothing to shield him from the s...
Tyrants - Invisible War (Track 8)

His homecoming, already fraught with mixed emotions, begins to sour further as the days pass. The young man, now a veteran, finds himself noticing things that had once slipped by unnoticed-trivial complaints about slow internet speeds, arguments over the latest celebrity scandal, or the constant hum of shallow grievances on television and in the streets. He had once participated in these petty ...
Homecoming - Invisible War (Track 7)

The rain pelts the taxi window, a steady drumbeat muffling the world outside, washing it in a muted haze. Lights and shapes blur together, gray and lifeless despite the flashes of color streaking past him. The soldier watches the scene slip by, his gaze distant, unfocused, as if searching through the gloom for something he can’t name. Once, he had imagined this moment so clearly-the joy of a he...
In Memoriam - Invisible War (Track 6)

The colors of the flag covering his comrade’s coffin seem faded, dulled beneath a weight he can almost feel pressing down on his chest. The young soldier stands silent and still, his eyes fixed forward, but his mind turns over the events and choices that led him here. Images of his friend-no, his brother-flicker in his mind, vivid and unbidden, each one sharpening the ache that gnaws at his hea...
Stand Together - Invisible War (Track 5)

Shattered concrete and dust flies as chaos reigns. "War is hell," the saying goes, and from the young man's perspective right now, the saying falls woefully short of reality. Clutching his weapon tightly as he huddles behind a crumbled wall, he looks down the road towards his fellow brothers in arms, similarly pinned down amid the hail of gunfire and smoke. His radio crackles, the occasional ba...
Tango Down - Invisible War (Track 4)
Переглядів 922 місяці тому
In the silent, tense chill of night, the young soldier gears up with his squad, each movement practiced and purposeful. His hands work swiftly over his gear, securing weapons, checking ammunition, and adjusting his night vision, all with a calm that once would have seemed impossible. They move out under the cover of darkness, slipping deep behind enemy lines like shadows. The eerie green glow o...

From the moment he steps off the bus, the young recruit’s world transforms into a relentless cycle of sweat, pain, and discipline. Day in and day out, from the crack of dawn to well after sunset, he is pushed to his limits in ways he’d never imagined. The schedule is brutal, unforgiving-grueling physical exercises, endless drills, and shouted orders become the cadence of his new life. Every mor...

Driven by tales of valor and dreams of greatness, a young man strides confidently into the recruitment office, eyes bright with excitement. In his mind, he already sees himself as a hero-marching into battle, leading his comrades to victory, inspiring admiration with every step. As he signs his name on the enlistment form, his pulse quickens, imagining the journey ahead: adventures in far-off l...

An unassuming man, dirty and shabbily dressed, sits slumped on a street corner with a cardboard sign resting on his lap. He remains silent, makes no plea for help, and seems to expect nothing from the busy crowd-content, perhaps even relieved, to be invisible to the world rushing by. Inside, he struggles to anchor himself in the present, focusing on the warm sunlight spilling over him and the c...
Children of Bodom - Bed of Razors (Misheard Lyrics)

We've all heard that same line: "I'd listen to metal but I can't understand a darn word of those screams!" Well, unfortunately Finnish melodeath is a prime example of impressive music couple with utterly indecipherable vocals. So after several attempts to mimic Children of Bodom frontman Alexi Laiho's lyrics on their 1999 album Hatebreeder, we did the next best thing and made up our own. We dar...

"I'd rather hear you talk about your battles, than learn you lost the war."
Sounds good! Reminds me of all that remains
Is this a famous band I've never heard of or something?
I'm definitely not famous. :P
@maxtenax1286 I'll try to help. 😎🤘🏻
Hell yeah
🔥🔥🔥
I love this n all their stuff telling us what a soldier goes through I read the story that goes with the song deep shit
The entire album's story was heavily inspired by real life accounts of US veterans. "Robots, Killing Machines" was actually originally written by a retired Army vet, in fact.
@maxtenax1286 my great grandfather fought in World War II you never sat down and told me any stories from the war and I see now why he didn't I'm going to look that up I want to read them stories bro thank you so much
Powerful, brother!
\m/ raw power from the man singing the growl parts. He sounds better than the original tbh
Crazy to think that my next door neighbor is singing in this song with one of my favorite bands..

More in Flames cover please 🥰
The two vocalist take is interesting...
It was mostly a choice born of necessity at first, but we were quite pleased with the result!
It´s kinda funny :D
He'll this was awesome. Need a Xmas album from you guys!
Hey, thanks man! Check out some of our other stuff and keep an eye out for new material in the coming weeks. It's killing me that we haven't been able to do anything this summer, but hectic real life schedules have kinda sidelined progress for now. "This Path I Tread" is in the works for a re-release with improved production values and complete with vocals!
Excellent and fucking epic!!!
Thanks very much! \m/
Max Tenax New Sub my friend!!!
I'm sad this hasn't gotten a lot of views yet, this shit is awesome! Love the screams man! Better than the CoB in my opinion!
Hey, thanks! We had a lot of fun doing it! I hate that we don't put out stuff as fast as I'd like, but as we all have careers (and families) and do this for fun on the side for now, it leaves little room for the immense amount of work that go into these things. But comments like these are greatly appreciated and encouraging, so thank you very, very much! We have a couple of original works on deck currently as well, so be sure to check in from time to time. I can't give you an exact release date, but they *will* happen, I promise! \m/
This is beautiful! I always dream with a song of Children of Bodom played in guttural
Even if we completely, ridiculously butchered the lyrics? :P
Joking aside, thanks so much! We're thrilled you enjoyed it!
Fucking awesome!!!!!
perfect i enjoyed every second
Thanks man! We're very excited more people are finding us! Since this is still a relatively young project shouldered in our free time, real life has been making getting our next cover video produced a lot harder than we expected. We expect it to be ready for release within 7-10 days!
Didn't know Jordi El Niño could sing
I have to admit I had no clue who TF you were walking about, so I looked up the name. Then I fell down laughing. XD
Yea like

eyyyyy it's Peta Griffin. Also, hell yeah, this was fun.
Yeah - he didn't give me any warning that he was gonna do it the first time, so naturally I almost died laughing. :)
Dude by far the best cover I've ever heard in my life especially Braxton I'm working on new music for my band but when we finally start recording I'd totally want him and Brendan to guest in a couple of my songs
That's high praise right there. Thanks man!
We're all working stiffs doing this on the side, so our material doesn't come as fast as I'd like it to. But be sure to check us out on iTunes, Google Play, Pandora, and several other online music retailers. We're far from finished, so keep up with us on Facebook too for updates! \m/
Thanks man, I be totally happy to help you guys.
Absolutely B R U T A L
very cool cover !!! where are you from ?
We're from the Southern US. In Flames we trust!
We're also currently in the planning phase of a couple more videos (real life's made it difficult to be quick this year), but in the meantime you can find Max Tenax on iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, and several other online music retailers. You can keep up with us on Facebook as well. Thanks so much for the compliment. It's really exciting to know others around the world are enjoying this!!!
