Anyone having any issues with vibration? Yours seems much smoother than mine. I purchased the 8” and it had bad wobble at the bit. I returned and exchanged it for the 10”. It had more wobble. Am I doing something wrong with installing the chuck, expecting too much for $169.00 or did I get so duds?
@@martyc513 mine has no wobble. I could see the chuck getting slid on wonky causing that, two duds in a row seems unlikely too
@ thanks for your quick reply. I noticed both of mine had nylon pulleys on the bit side. Didn’t yours have two aluminum?

Great job dude! I used hardware cloth when doing some stone work a while back and will never cut it by hand again after trying an angle grinder on it. Did you keep the heat lamps that low?
@@SeriouslyStumpd thanks man! I kept them that low for the first few days and I’ve moved them up twice since (why I used the chains to hang em), I’m now only running two of three too Angle grinder is the way!
@LandFather Gotcha gotcha. I was just curious if they needed that level of heat as they grew. I'd imagine the first week has the highest probability of losing chicks.
@ you have to “harden them off” likes seed starts before planting haha, the most common way to lose chicks is for the brooder to be too cold or drafty and then the huddle together and will suffocate the chicks at the center of the pile. 3-5% mortality is super common with little chickens and I’ve seen that in my own experience, for sometimes no explainable reason 😂
@LandFather I didn't think about the suffocation aspect. Makes sense though. Keep up the good work bro!
