Just suscribed ❣️❣️❣️
Thank you, you are adorable. Your video is wonderful. Enjoy 📔I have just got my first one Hobonichi, so I am going to start on december 😊
I've never heard of the Etsy shop but their products are just so pretty! Loved the video and would totally be interested in how you memory keep.
Yes I actually ended up ordering more!
Not sure how I missed this video when it came out but watching now! Loving what you ordered (still watching). LOLOLOL! "Does anyone else like the smell of this plastic or are you normal?" - I feel both called out yet validated too! I actually dilly dallied and only just put in my hobonichi order at the hobonichi website. Went a little crazy. And totally not mad about it.
haha the plastic I know eh? Can't wait to see your haul video.
Does the fabric fusion warp the paper? Or card stock?
No not at all
@@Loretta_C Oooooooo how nice!!! Thanks for getting back to me 😘
@@veevee6225 You're welcome! Sorry so long...For the glue just be sure to use it sparingly, you really don't need a lot.
@@Loretta_C No worries appreciate your time and help 😘 thank you 😊
This is soooooo great, thanks for sharing the tutorial! I 💕polka art studio!!!!!
Thanks so much 😊
you mentioned pain in your feet, legs and low back. maybe check into what type of shoes you’re wearing. I had those issues so I switched my shoes and went to the chiropractor which changed everything!
Yes I saw a specialist and I got new shoes and do stretches. It is much better than before but after a long shift at work I feel the pain.
Your video was so fun to watch! I felt like I was over at a friend’s house ❤️ I’m so glad you had a good day! I love when everything just comes together really nice ❤️
Thank you so much!!
I deleted my FB account. Not worth the time suck and misinformation. I prefer learning things from content creators on UA-cam.
It is a huge time suck. Good for you, it is so worth it.
I had my fingers crossed while waiting for the box to arrive. I’ve been buying from Hobonichi for three years now and I’ve always been charged with import tax the years before. They’ve changed a lot of things this year (adding a free shipping threshold even) and I was wondering if they would take care of the tax this year. I was so glad they did! I’ve noticed that the prices for Canadians are marked up a few dollars each item comparing to the prices on the package. But, well, it’s to be expected since they’re covering the taxes and offering a free shipping now. I’m not complaining. It’s just overall a better shopping experience except for the crazy launch day. Edit: I don’t know if it’s related, but I‘ve noticed that a lot of the frustration coming from the launch day drama have something to do with people panicking and placing orders from local retailers for much higher prices. They had to cancel those orders later and they felt bad about it. I was also guilty of purchasing a midori hibino from Amazon Japan immediately after the Hon I wanted was sold out (and I too canceled the order later. I’m thinking about using a hibino next year though because it looks very cute). I’ve been thinking about it afterwards. I think having more options to immediately make a purchase from somewhere else sometimes screws us up in weird ways. Had we just gone to bed and waited for the next day, the level of frustration wouldn’t be nearly as high. But at the moment of panicking, we stopped thinking rationally and felt the urge to fix the problem right there.
Yes I believe Hobonichi will keep making changes as their consumer base grows. They realize how much people love their products and are changing as necessary.
Thank you for the recipe!!! Plan to.try!!!
What a coincidence you left this comment today, I am planning on making a new batch! Thank you and enjoy.
The sakura pigma micron and zebra sarasa pens are nice to write and quick drying for tomoe river paper.
Thanks for the tip!
Hello! From one Loretta C to another!!!
Amazing! Can't say I know another Loretta until now.
Usually I don’t comment on videos but I just had to tell you that I love how calm and chill you are. English is not my first language so unfortunately I don’t know the perfekt word but in german we call it „Gelassenheit“. You just seem so friendly and I love how you kind of introduced us to all your animals while you are showing the things you got and just imagining your turtle rearranging its home in this noisy manner brings me joy 😂 and I love how thankful and thinkful consuming you are. Your video really stands out compared to all the other videos I’ve seen. Thank you for that! ❤
Thank you for such kind words and for watching!
I waited until everything died down then ordered and had no issues. I’m just waiting for it now.
That's the smart thing to do, they always restock.
Girl, I'm with you. Just the idea of a mouse is too much mouse for me.
I know I can't, gives me the heebie jeebies.
New sub- great video.. also live in Canada 😊
Thank you!
Fellow Canadian 🎉 my order should arrive Tuesday to the east coast. Didn't ship until the 13th
The shipping was only 4 days for me, you should get yours soon! It's hard to wait though isn't it.
Loved your video and I was soooo happy to hear what a great day you were having. Totally made me smile 💛 Enjoy all your new goodies!
Thank you!
“…or are you normal?” & “why do we love stationery so much?” got me to hit subscribe! 😊
LMAO thank you for subscribing and understanding my humour!
This is the first time I’ve heard someone say the noise in the background is their noisy turtle! 🐢 That is adorable. Lovely haul, thanks for sharing!
Haha yes she loves to play around on her ladder and my house is quite small so shes shares my office space.💚
Hi I am not sure if it is possible to edit out your discount code from Josephine Bows. Someone else may use it
Yes it is possible and I have edited it, I appreciate the tip thank you for pointing that out.
I'm so amazed how you think things through first before buying and ordering; like giving things a go first before trying a new book or system...even willing to wait for the next year!!! It's so refreshing!!! I don't have that restraint and control, and I always end up being pressured and so stressed if a planner or book doesn't work out, but money and time was already wasted. I'm hoping I will have your maturity when it comes to stationery & journalling. Really enjoyed your haul and your video! Keep it up!! 😊❤
Thank you! The way I look at it is I don't mind spending money but I hate wasting money so that is my motivation.
I journal in my A5 HON, the paper is so NICE. I use a cheapo fountain pen which is fun because you can play with different inks. The paper is perfect for that. I got that pencil board too, I love it.
The paper feels amazing. I was considering getting into fountain pens also after watching videos from Stationary Fest in New York, but I don't think I can handle another hobby.🤣
This was a breath of fresh air! I’m in Canada too and planning my first hobonichi order. I did the math and if you consider that over 100$ we would be paying duties, but duties are included in the shipping cost, it certainly made the shipping feel much more reasonable 😂 People keep saying you can buy hobonichi stuff on Amazon, but I don’t know if this is a Canadian thing, but the prices are absolutely bonkers on Amazon (and most retailers). Excited to place my order but I’m stuck agonizing over what’s reasonable and what’s excessive 😅
Yes exactly, my shipping was $41 I think I forgot to mention that in the video. It is very expensive on Amazon.ca I agree. Plus the free gifts directly from Hobonichi is a huge bonus.
Fellow Canadian here too! There are quite a few stationary stores in Canada that sell Hobonichi (and other Japanese planners, etc.) and take preorders in August/September. You don’t get the freebies and most of the common items are available. I’m sure they ship to rural parts too. Just another option! I use the Hobonichi and/or Jibun Techo (Kokuyo).
@@anitasamuel-george5788 Good to know, thank you!
Thanks for sharing! That stappo looks lovely! I regret not getting it but there is always next year! 😄
Thanks for watching! The stappo is great it really does hold all of my pens and such, it is quite roomy.
Hi Loretta, I love your order! And really enjoyed your video. I live in Simcoe County, if you are close me, we can order together next time 😊
Hi! We are about 3 hours apart so not too close but not that far either.
Can’t wait for my 2025 Hobonichi to arrive now! ☀️
Its such an exciting time of year isn't it?
Last years leaflet is cute! I love the free pens! ☀️✂️ Lovely share 💙
The free pens are the best. Thank you!
You are right about people being argumentative on FB. I still think Twitter/X has the rudest people, but FB is getting just as bad. It seems people love to twist your words, just to start controversy, and I am not about that. It is no longer fun. There are things I really like about FB, but the scam accounts and arguing have me thinking about stepping away from it for a while.
I started by un-following people (not unfriending) so that their posts no longer came up on my feed. And then I just deactivated my account completely. I actually forgot to mention X in my video, I have never had an account but I have heard other people say the same thing about rude people on there.
Have you been to reddit? lol. It ruder than X
@@heathergray4880 Oh yes I have been to reddit. It's all toxic to me.
La mejor decisión❤
😍😍😍🌻🌻🌻💛
Nice💗💛💛💗💛
Thank you!
I quit Facebook several times by deactivating my account. I loved that option. I would return occasionally after several months only to find out that I didn't miss anything important. I dont feel NOW like I can deactivate my account, because my son passed away 9 months ago. I had created a memorial page for him and if I deactivate FB then I lose that page. So, I just have to use "will power" and stay away for awhile. I like what you said about "subtraction of things and not adding" I am in a season of life of getting rid of things that I will no longer use or be able to pass down to my son. It is difficult, but I'm doing it little by little.
I am sorry to hear about the loss of your son. I know what it is like to lose someone close to you and it's heartbreaking. I think this is a good reason to keep social media. It has meaning for you so it makes sense to keep your sons memorial page open. Even though it is difficult, try to do something nice for yourself everyday while you are grieving.
I really enjoyed this video! Especially having the difficult talk is so important for me to be able to feel at peace. Often it's done soooo fast and then you feel much better. I never have my phone tone on, only if I wait for a call. It makes me crazy when I hear the diiiiing on others peoples phone and they get dictated by their notifications. It feels like their phone uses them instead of them using their phone. In my generation (I'm 26) it's so normal to talk to somebody, the phone "diiings" and they just stop the conversation and look at their phone.
Thank you and I totally agree. When I am out with others I keep my phone in my purse, while everyone else keeps theirs on the table. The person you are with at the moment should be the person your attention is on!
Do you agree or disagree with any of these points? What do you do in your life to simplify?
OMG... confrontation has always been associated (in my brain) with negative and is scary. I'll do worst case scenarios in my head for hours and just rile myself up. Loved this video! TFS my dear... and enjoy your week.
Same with me. If it's hard to talk face to face when it comes to confrontation start with text. That's what I did! Thank you and have a great week as well.
Where do you order your “ book” and stationary from? I don’t know who to trust.
These two planners are from Hobonichi, I order them straight from the website in Japan. You can also get them from Amazon, but for me in Canada the cost is outrageous. The shipping cost from Japan is quite high but I would rather order straight from there then from Amazon in this case.
@@Loretta_C thanks southern Ontario 🇨🇦
Looking good!
Thank you Julia! And they just keep growing.
I am so scared, I really wanna do LASIK, but I have -6.75 eyesight. I would love to get it done and I am excited to watch this video😊
I was really scared too! It's very normal to be scared and apprehensive. Just keep in mind how good you will feel and how happy you will be once it is over with. And for me it was painless.
I really like this video. You have a new subsciber. I grew up in a rich family, then I got taken out by childservices and seeing how other people (and me since that moment) lived was weird. Now I am super proud of being frugal and a little bit of a cheapskate, living below my needs even tho we are far away from rich :D I love fixing stuff, reusing, only buying what I need. Also I feel like the mic is not necessary, I understand you perfectly and I normally have a problem with that as a non native speaker.
Thank you! I love comments like this because it shows everyone comes from different circumstances and that being frugal is a not always a choice. I think it depends on how grateful one is with what they already have. A few people have commented about the mic so maybe I will just put it off for now.
Your sound is fine don’t waste your money 200$ on a mic remember under consumer core
Thank you for saying so, however I don't think it is a waste of money if it would improve the sound for my viewers.
@@Loretta_C your mic is fine, if you're worried about the sound, try hanging up some blankets around you to create a makeshift sound booth! I'm a voice actor and I've recorded commercials knelt under a blanket on a hotel bed, it really is more about the space you're recording in than the mic itself. You sound fine to me watching on my phone!
@@yasaminwhy8212 wow that’s great advice thank you!
Sound is fine ( occasional car going by, but who cares ). Kudos to your Mom, great frog painting! 🇨🇦SW Ontario
Thanks! I always worry that the sound is terrible.

🤩 Amazing! Can hear the excitement in your voice 🤗 wonderful. And yes, would love to see more of the garden!

Thanks! Too much food for me though, so I ate the croissant and lemon muffin and gave the rest to my coworker. This would be nice with afternoon tea with the ladies!
