Since end 2017 I discovered backingtracks and some great musicians who create those. Tom Bailey is the most important one to me but Sebastien Zunino, MyDarnJamTracks, Nick Neblo and Elevated Jam Tracks are among my favorites as well. I love to improvise lead guitar with backingtracks and you can find a selection of my best tunes on this channel. Enjoy listening!
Classic Rock by Now You Shred
I had good fun with this rocker!
Someone asked me about vibrato. A good trick I learned from my teacher at the time was you can also let the neck of your guitar move down and just hold your fingers still. This way the weight of the guitar takes care of an natural vibration which sounds pleasant. In the beginning I do this a couple of times although it's harder to do sitting down then when you have it in a strap but both ways can be done.

Sounds pretty close to "Strong Persuader", a song I always liked a lot. I tested my new bought Amplitube 5 V2 Max software and went with the Fender models mostly. Sounds pretty good to me! 00:00 - Fender Twin Reverb 01:11 - Fender Vibroverb 02:16 - Leslie Amd with rotary speaker 03:21 - Gary Moore setup 04:23 - Fender Deluxe Reverb clean 05:31 - Fender Deluxe Reverb Overdrive 06:37 - Fender Sup...

Awesome cool tune of Now You Shred. It's the chords of "Hit The Road Jack" and has faster and slower parts. I superduper liked it and it was the perfect tune to release some pent up energy! Original: ua-cam.com/video/V1r4wWATS9Y/v-deo.html

Yeah man! Nice work and you're right. It's really not that hard, just add a beat right??
Exactly, just needs a little extra attention for the timing
Excellent cover Brother \m/ keep it up
I tried! I struggled with the rhythm part haha, mostly I solo on tracks. Was fun to build the whole song though with all the parts
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Damn dude that’s a great tone man! Perfect for the vibe of the track
@@nowyoushred Loved this one Renzo! Yeah, amplitube is pretty great. Not 100% stable so not too many instances in Cubase but the cleanish sounds are great!
Followed your link from “Now you Shred”… Legitimate sound you got going there!
@@glenclarkchidley3637 amplitube is on sale now, just 100 bucks!
Liks a blusey ZZ TOP version!
Different
@@CoreySturrock1 Hi Corey, I didn't try to mimic the original, just wanted to have a nice time playing
Very brave as a guitarist myself I play Floyd live and I do it the safe way which is as close to the original as possible, I’d love to try something like you have done here but will it go as planned live is the brave part
@@CoreySturrock1 Well I am safely behind my desk here Corey haha! Live is a different ballgame...
Bas de Beer...i bet you enjoyed playing it. I enjoyed hearing it. Thanks.
@@tuib Hey tuib, glad you liked it man. And yes, I had a good time going for it haha!

Wow incredible tone you have on the Hayley Benton, you're a amazing player !!!
Thank you thank you! Guitar is new 218 dollars, isn't that crazy?
Loved it, just loved it.
Thank you, it was a great pleasure to play this one!
@@BasdeBeer You're welcome.
Super gespeeld!! 👌🏻👌🏻
I love a cover thats better than the original
Thanks Nelson, that's a great compliment!
Great Voice Buck!
Subscribed by the way 😁
I'm fucking terrible at string bending because I use 11 gauge Flatwound strings, so kudos to your skills brother. You must use light strings, 9 gauge?
It came with strings from the factory, I think they are 10s but could be wrong. On my strat I use 11 because it does sound a lot better then so I am used to that
@BasdeBeer I've been using flatwounds for years, and I'll never go back to roundwounds. The tone difference is phenomenal and the last a lot longer as well
@@MrBill1976 flatwounds are the jazz strings right? What do you like better of the tone with flatwounds?
@BasdeBeer they are actually the best strings to use for reverberated playing. That's why all surf players use them. Backvin the late 50s early 60s, pretty much any guitar recording you heard was flatwound strings. They have a much more, warm, thick tone that doesn't have that shrill brightness that rounds do. Another benefit is that you don't hear that annoying string squeak when you slide up or down like you do with rounds. Overall, a better, warmer, more vintage sound that carries tone far better than rounds. Defo give them a try brother, I think you'd love them. And yes, they are marketed as "jazz" strings, but they are used by far more than just jazz players
@@MrBill1976 Thanks maybe I should try it. I do like bending a lot though, it's a big part of the emotion in my playing.
really cool
Needs more reverb
Excellent tune very well balanced with the different lead effects, and Buck's vocals match seamlessly. I imagine rolling down the highway in a convertible on a sunny summer day with this tune cranked....Let's Go !! 👍
Thank you! And summer is right around the corner Gary!
Hello all. Thank you so much to everyone who viewed, liked and commented on the song “Let’s Go”. Such kind comments. Feel free to share as well. It was a great project.
