Did you try and reset the ride command when that happened. Trust me its not 100% perfect, but it is the only thing that has worked for me for the long run. That is why I said 95%. I wish they just had Android Auto as an option. When things don't respond just press and hold the middle button and things will rest, at it usually works again until I stop for gas.

You can open up the prongs a little, but I threw some electrical tape on mine. I wrapped it around it so it can't come apart. Try that and let me know!

I can't agree more. There is a lot of people that say they have come loose on them, but knock on wood, mine have never. Also its super convenient for Challengers to check the radiator fluid over flow level, and like you said to clean that area!!

NO you do not. Matter of fact it might give you 1 HP. Lot of the facebook groups go in to this. Its more for look to compete with HD. The bike was designed to have RAM air. So with this better air cleaner you will be getting this. The breather on the side has a small and I mean small filter. Again there is a lot out there on this, but for me I didn't care about the look of the $350+ air cleaner. Just my 2 Cents

So these were put on my buddies bike. He said he liked them, but he soon traded his bike in for a new Street Glide...lol. He said he started having electrical glitches. I wondered if some of it was because of pulling the wire through. It was a complete Bitch. Worst set of bars that I have had to do. I thought I would like them, but they weren't for me. So...how do you like them??

@@sdpikapp Funny, If your having some problems, I would disconnect all the plugs and check each one to ground or to a metal part on the bars just to see if by chance they chaffed some where. Or like you say trade it in...LOL

@reyffdesigns1282 because of a blast and 6 wrist and arm surgeries only tbars give my wrists /arms the right angle. Coming off harleys tbars were always cheap. I found the indian flaw that existed with the cross country victory bikes by 200 miles 😆

This set up should not cause this, but did you try to reset your ride command after you had everything set up. After you reset the whole system. Try putting up your volume and see if it works. Let us know!!

Yes you could put it in the saddlebag, but, and this is the but, it would stay powered on all the time. If your taking a trip and you forget about it, it could possibly drain your battery if you forgot about it. With plugging into the USB in the cubby, it powers on and off with the bike.

@reyffdesigns1282 I thought of that too. I was unsure if that power port stays hot all the time. But I will be trying this on a Roadmaster and the dash pocket isn't big enough to hold all that and my toll transponder also. Thanks for the reply tho

@reyffdesigns1282 I have a friend heading to Keystone this weekend on his Roadmaster. He has the ottocast and I believe a Sena communication device. He hopes he doesn't have any issues with his android auto on his trip.

@stephanclairday9173 I have the ottocast ai p3 and a cardo bold....sometimes I can't get the cardo bold to connect. When it does, everything works great!

@reyffdesigns1282 I originally had the carlinkit and it sucked! It'd not connect alot, and or lose connection all the time. So I tried it in my vehicle which it does the same shit. The Ottocast is 99%. Only because once in a blue moon I have to hit my screen to connect it but it's rare and it pretty much never glitches once connected it's solid. Much better product. But this was a great video. 👍

The stage 1 inlet, the one that looks like a scoop, really doesn't do much except take money from your pocket book. The filter in there is as big as a credit card, and really don't get any horsepower gain from it. If you like the look, then sure I would go that route. What you will get is more airflow with either the S and S filter or the K and N filter. Typically you would see on a Dyno 3-5 HP from it. But if anything it allows the bike to breath a little better than the stock filter. As far as tuning, you shouldn't have to until you do exhaust, etc. The ECU should see that there is more air and adjust accordingly.

@@reyffdesigns1282 If I did slip ons and the K&N, would that be enough to require a tune? Or is it only if you do a full exhaust and cat delete plus the filter?

@@twowheelsutah If you do just slip on and the air filter, you should be good. Its when you take that CAT out. When I did true duals they still had a tune so of course I did it. But I have a lot of friends that I ride with that has no tune that has the air filter and slip ons.

I agree I was trying something new and it didn't work out the greatest, but was not going to remove the clutch again.

I love it...seriously love it. I barely look at my ride command anymore except for adjusting my shock or changing ride modes. As far as having the ability to look at Google maps on the screen, and being more accurate than the ride command maps is a deal changer for me. I do have a video next Friday that is my 3 week review. There has been one little quirky thing, but it will happen even with Apple, that sometimes the sound will cut out, but still shows the music playing. There is a easy fix and has fixed each time. When it does happen it is usually about an hour and a half into the ride. You just reset the ride command and vola all starts working. I had to do this on my ride from Minnesota to Oklahoma, I think once. But other than that it has been fairly flawless.

All the ebay links go to the ottocast mx.. I ordered it and unfortunately the mx doesn't boot to the RC. My phone shows aa is working but can't see on RC. Thinking I may need to purchase the u2 instead.

@@rickschrunk6266 I changed the link in my description again. They might be phasing out the U2's??? But everyone that I have spoken to that got something different can't not make it work. Or hasn't found the secret sauce. But with my U2 X Pro, mine has worked pretty flawless.

@@butchmarkle3103 Is the FM receiver powering on? Were you able to have the bike connect to the ROAV transmitter, and your phone connect to the OTTOCast? If you have and still have problems you might have to go into the bike and make sure all other items that are bluetoothed are disconnected. Let me know.

@reyffdesigns1282 I have everything hooked up. My bike sees the roav and my phone says it's connected to the ottocast. Ottocast is displaying green light. But nothing on the bikes screen. The apple car play logo is a non-operational button

@@allentraylor5659 I did it the way you described forever. Bluetooth for Music was great, but that's all I could do. But using google maps or any other mapping system I couldn't. Sure I could have it on my phone but it can be small to read. The one time I trusted my ride command maps it took me way out of the way. So I like having the Android Auto because I like to have a bigger screen for my maps, and I use satellite maps for a more detailed mapping. I hate to say it but Google Maps or Ways, for me, is more trust worthy than the ride command mapping. Especially if you get caught were the GPS is trying to catch up or figure where its at.

I used Davidson Audio products. They are Cicada Speakers everywhere except in the tourpack. I have diamond audio in there because its 5.25 speakers. I do have other videos showing the install of the speakers and system: ua-cam.com/video/W22_ZHbKuNA/v-deo.html

Also with the Davidson Audio, he has configured it where it will except aftermarket speakers. So much louder and clearer!!
