An old Ampeg VH-140C came into the shop that was cutting out when the owner played. After a quick diagnostic, 2 problems were revealed. Channel A Gain pot shaft was pushed in and bent the metal clasps that keep the back of the pot connected and the internal washer was disconnected. The 2nd problem was the Channel B Level pot had a cold solder joint, which cause the level to jump to full power. Thankfully I use a Rivera Mini Rock Rec to test amp before repair, that way I don't blow any speakers! Most of the video is a run through of the amp after it's fixed.
